Stayed at Belle Oaks Inn 8/1-8/3. We cant express how amazing the home is and especially the decor. The pool is amazing, the grounds are very well maintained and private. We brought our bikes and the town is very bike friendly with easy access to restaurants, antique shops, and parks from this property. The owners were such kind and accommodating people that we will be planning a return as soon as we are able. The breakfast is also OMG good! You would be missing out not to give this place your next reservation. Thank you again Belle Oaks owners and staff!
Wonderful experience! This a a beautiful B&B. Our room was cool, quiet and comfortable, even with it being over 100 degrees outside. We were given a tour of the home by Alex. It is a masterpiece. We met the owner, Clint. He has a real talent for restoring old houses. He was knowledgeable about the area and the other historic homes nearby. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back!
Belle Oaks is like coming home. She is a true jewel of another time. Im from the Deep South where we cherish our old homes and love them like family. Someone posted it was in need of repairs....we have been coming here for over 12 years and it has always been impeccably cared for. As my Grandma used to say, it just shows GOOD LIVING.
Exactly what an upscale Bed & Breakfast should be Perfect in every way!The decor is wonderful to the eye, breakfast more than I expected. The Owner was personable and friendly, The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Wish we could have stayed longer. I felt like it was my own Tara. We will be back, just to enjoy this lovely place.
We love to stay in places that are rich in history that truly transport you to another time and place! The Belle Oaks possesses the beauty and patina of a bygone era that you can really rest into and imagine how things might have been. We met the owner very briefly and he was very welcoming and kind. Only in the last month new innkeepers have taken lovely new care with the Belle Oaks with fresh eyes and energy! Tyler and Maggie possess a sweet spirit and are multi talented. They bring much to the table quite literally as they are chefs! Breakfasts are well balanced between hot and fresh cool foods. For dinner you should definitely hire them for a special private meal! We were spoiled by a delicious French dinner complete with a specialty cool summer soup, a whole beef wellington and a dessert to die for! Dark ganache chocolate cigar with creme brulee and blue agave syrup. I suggest you bring Don Julio 1942 sipping tequila to have with dessert along with some Belle Oaks coffee as it was a next level experience. We reccomend a bold dry red wine with the beef wellington or any red meat. We suggest you visit Majek Vineyard and Winery in Moravia just 40 minutes up the road and pick up their Praha as it paired so perfectly with our meal! It was truly a blessed and beautiful 3 day stay at the Belle Oaks! We look forward to our next visit to the Belle Oaks!

2022-06-13Historic Victorian mansion a few blocks from the heart of downtown Gonzales. Beautiful rooms and common areas with comfortable period decor that transports you back in time. Refreshing pool, scrumptious breakfast and knowledgeable hosts - the way bed and breakfast used to be ;-)

2022-03-27Belle Oaks Inn is a $4 million mansion, with the finest in historic decor and impeccable service. We’ve stayed in the finest homes over the years, but this is the most memorable of all. Set on an a double lot near the Gonzales town square, if you love Texas history, this is your best choice. We were served a stellar breakfast that filled us with joy and contentment for the busy day ahead. You will love the Belle Oaks Inn and historic Gonzales Texas, just 50 minutes from San Antonio. The price is very reasonable as well. We wish you very blessed stay.
