Pros: The food is better than alot of mancamps, the rooms are clean and the staff is welcoming.Cons: I just cant give it 5 stars because - the walls are paper thin, the beds are so uncomfortable theyre terrible mattresses, my back hurt so bad I had to end up sleeping on the floor to relieve the discomfort, I thought it was just me but it seemed my coworkers also had the same experience. There seems to be no rush in building a gym, and one thermostat for the whole building so everyone is fighting for the temperature. And housekeeping always leaves your doors and restrooms unlocked once theyre done cleaning.
Good food, great hospitality, and conveniently located while bouncing around from job site to job site between Mentone TX., and Carlsbad NM. All while being reasonably priced, providing brown bag lunches, internet fast enough to play xbox online with my kids back home without lagging, and send out reports. Also the rooms are alot roomier than other camps Ive stayed at in the area.

2022-06-13I wanted to edit my first review to say ive been staying here consistently for over a year now and i stand by my first review. The manager Kevin goes out of his way to not only make sure your stay is excellent but spends time with the guests and can call most of them by name. He takes alot of pride in Century lodging above and beyond it just being a job. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Food is on point.

2021-11-07Rooms are clean and spacious compared to other Mancamps, what I dont like is the lack of respect and privacy while the cleaning crew just opens every door regardless if you told the front office your sleeping schedule. I also do like the food compared to some man camps the kitchen staff is amazing except the lady at 1 am shift she is a bit rude.

2021-10-21Kevin has gone above and beyond to accommodate things. My room is clean and cool. My first meal was dinner this evening and it was cooked and seasoned very well. Internet/wifi is very good, more then enough for streaming, video chat, gaming ect.

2020-07-30Its hard to be away from home for the amount of time we in the oil field experience. Century Lodge makes it easier in several ways, the staff is great and I mean all of them. The food is good (the only reason I dont say great is that its not my wifes cooking) the rooms are small but they keep them clean. During the height of summer heat the AC struggles but they gave us window units to offset. The amenities are great ie: weight room, common areas and conference rooms. Ive been here for 6 or 7 months, all in all I enjoy staying here.

2020-10-04We have stayed at several man camps over the years. This place is newly built and nicely furnished. The people are excellent from the owner, the front desk clerk, to the kitchen staff. They really are nice and try their best to make your stay enjoyable. In this regard they are much better than other places I have been where they herd you through like cattle. The food is good and they serve a wide variety of things. The kitchen is open 24/7 and you can go get drinks, snacks, etc whenever you want. The wifi works well which is a huge plus.Depending on what your crews are used to they may really like or dislike this place. The rooms are singles where you have a private room but two rooms share a bathroom. If your crew is used to staying two to a double room they will enjoy the increased privacy but if they are used to having their own single room they likely won’t be happy sharing a bathroom. The biggest complaint is no refrigerators in the rooms. I can’t think of another place I have stayed at in the past ten years that didn’t have one in each room. Each building has a room with a kitchen and full sized refrigerator but it is accessible to anyone in that building which makes it not very useful. The parking lot is very big and no issues finding a spot but the way it is laid out there is no way to park close to essentially half of the rooms. Me just walking or carrying a backpack or something it is no big deal it isn’t that far but for our work we have a lot of electronic stuff we have to carry back and forth to the room daily. Usually takes 3-4 trips each morning and evening. Being able to park closer to the room would have been really nice. I guess I am spoiled by the old style motels where you can park right beside your door.

2020-12-02Two nights into a week stay. Not bad at all. Cafeteria is pretty good. Not going hungry for sure. Some audible noises from the highway, or the snoring person next door. Ok Google, play white noise. Slept very well. WiFi is very good. Staff is seemingly eager to please.Overall, its Orla. Were not here to sightsee or vacation. Century does a good job in a harsh environment.
