My husband & I stayed here for an extended period of time due to a work assignment & overall, it was very pleasant. It’s walking distance to the grocery store & some restaurants which was very convenient. The hotel staff are professional, welcoming & helpful & housekeeping does a wonderful job! I felt safe here & would recommend Drury Suites.
I had the honor and privilege of staying here for over a year. It was an amazing experience overall. The housekeepers do an excellent job every single time. The front desk attendants are ready to assist at any time of the day or night. The hotel itself is nice and is located in a good area that is literally near EVERYTHING! I have no complaints!

Wow I was really impressed with this hotel. The asthetics were pleasing to the eye, staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. Our room was large, clean, and the pillows were excellent. The toilet was a little low to the ground for someone with knee problems, but we enjoyed the pool, the free popcorn, soda, and the breakfast was excellent, with many options ans quality ingredients. Definitely will recommend and will return again!
Convenient place to stay for birding the RGV. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Happy hour food and drinks were excellent. Very clean. Could use some refreshing of carpets and decor but it was nice. I would stay here again
I have not stayed at this hotel but I can testify that it has a great meeting rooms. We had to change the venue for a Pastors meeting conference from night to the next. The hotel allows to rent the place at the last minute. Staff was wonderful. Both meeting rooms are very spacious, nice decor, super clean and beautiful furniture. Restroom are very spacious and super clean as well. We will book another event soon.
Drury is really an excellent hotel chain. They offer free breakfast, dinner, and drinks (at certain times) for guests. They offer shuttle service to the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It seems like a good location with food options and stores close by. I enjoyed my stay.

I always have things emailed here one time almost a month in advance of my arrival and there was no problem at all with my packages.Pool.... I have been staying at the Drury for work trips since 2011 and have never had a complaint. The check-in/check-out process was always a breeze and no issues ever arose. I have stayed in both the standard room and the suite option and both are well maintained and roomy. The happy hour with 3 free drinks and free food is perfect for unwinding after work. The staff there are extremely pleasant and make a point to remember their guests. Only drawback---the pool was closed twice when I stayed there! Despite that I would still choose to stay at Drury, for both business and pleasure!

Oh my God this place was awesome! The manager was very helpful. the room I got was super clean. I had a king-size suite with a kitchenette the dishes were clean the stove was clean. I ended up needing a cot which they sent to my room right away. Thank you Christina for all the help that you gave us me and my family appreciate it thank you to your team when we come back into town we will definitely be staying here. The food was pretty good breakfast you got eggs, biscuits and gravy sausage, waffles, cereal, oatmeal... Dinner time food could have been better but if you didnt feel like going out for dinner it would have done okay
My room was clean, wuiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Wish the menu would have a few healthier options. Other than the menu all else was,very good.
Can’t say how happy I am and what a family environment they bring to the hotel. While I’m writing this review they are hosting a dinner event with some good food that keeps coming. The girls working here came up to me to ask if everything was ok and I had everything I needed. This is not my first time staying here and Sometimes I think their hospitality is better then you get at a fine dinning.Thank you!
Great place to stay and the pricing is very competitive. The staff is excellent! They are always asking if there is anything you need. Food is included in the price of your room rate, breakfast and also at dinner time. They have a great variety for breakfast and the dining room is actually very big .The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. I travel a lot down to the valley since I have all my family here and come down for business as well so Im making this place my only place to stay from now on.Thats how impressed I was!
People were nice. The room was clean and in excellent condition when I arrived. They provide free drinks from 5-7pm. Breakfast is provided with the stay. Breakfast consists of fresh cooked eggs, sausage, potatoes, and gravy. You can make waffles, eat fruit, cereal, and pastries such as blueberrie muffins. Check out took less than 30 seconds. Great experience.
Really enjoyed our stay here, the breakfast and snacks were good. Also the fact that they off 3 free alcoholic beverages was cool. The king sized bed was very comfortable as well.
Excellent hotel to stay at. They have nice rooms and friendly staff. You cant beat the happy hour drinks and dinner buffet. The morning breakfast also has a lot of options. Stay here if you can.

I was traveling work and they booked us here at the Drury. It wasnt the newest or nicest hotel, but it was very cozy. Everyone was very friendly. They have free Wi-Fi and breakfast. You even get a drink card when you check in. They give you up to 3 drinks per day at happy hour. I also really liked that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were in dispensers. The room felt a little cramped but the bed was plush. Overall I was very pleased with the stay.

Hotel room was a bit outdated but very clean. I recall thwm being here since i was kid so its an older location. Amenities are great. They had dinner items that saved me money on eating out expenses. Courtesy adult drinks available. I would stay here again.
Really enjoyed our stay! Great staff and great amenities. Would give it 5 stars but had issue with alarm clock going off all night which they gladly gave us a discount on our stay and parking and hotel were being remodeled at the time. Otherwise, pleased with the stay!

Friendly staff, and nice rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The tub was deeper then most hotels, but still narrow. Hot breakfast and dinner is a nice touch as well.
The location was good within walking distance of an Olive garden and an HEB. Rooms were clean most importantly. But OMGOOODNESS the bathrooms were so tiny and the toilets were built for Giants. Im 55 and had to use towels as a stool so my legs wouldnt go numb!
Beds are very comfy, room smelled fresh, carpeting was very clean, updated restrooms, very tidy kitchenette and refrigerator was sparkling clean!Food during breakfast was better than continental and happy hour is a nice touch.
Was rerouted to the hotel after calling my regular Drury family hotel, Posada Ana. Reservation and check in staff were quite pleasant. Explained that their other two hotels, Posada Ana and Drury Inn were now closed, due to slow business. Room was comfortable and clean. Taking into consideration the hot breakfast and evening happy hour, the price was quite reasonable. It is obvious theres been cutbacks, shortage of staff and common areas a little messy. Had to wait at least 15 minutes to check out, as there was no staff at the front desk.
Drury Inn is our first to hotel choice. The prices are very reasonable, rooms are clean, staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is by far one of the best and the 5:30 kickback is wonderful especially when we have been on the road all day and dont want to leave but need to eat a little something.
Wonderful rooms, beds are comfortable, food is good. Staff there was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be coming back the next time Im in town or any town that has a Drury Inn & Suites.

We stayed at Drury Suites McAllen in August 2012. We were very pleased to say the least. The price of our room was $104 + tax.. the room included a full kitchen, living room with sofa bed, bedroom with a door to close off the living room, small terrace (balcony) and a very nice bathroom with a LARGE Jacuzzi tub for two :)Almost all the hotels I have stayed at had that hotel smell but this place didnt have any odor at all. Everything was clean! big plus for me, the germaphobe.The staff was helpful and nice, happy hour was wonderful, plenty of appetizers and drinks to choose from. When we went there was nachos, hot dogs, baked potatoes with all the fixins, salad bar, and fruit. They also had mixed drinks and beer. This will be my go to hotel every time we visit family in the Valley! I give it 5 *****

Nice, mostly clean place to stay. Housekeeping can be a bit more detailed. However, good breakfast, good dinner and good drinks, which are all inclusive. We liked!

Excellent services, great people working there, very kind as well, its just... fantastic!I went there my first time, i didnt want to go! :)The breakfast was just great, it has something for everyone, sausages, eggs, cereal, and more.Since we just went to Mcallen to shop, we went from 5pm to 7pm to the hotel to relax, and we ate the food they were giving, it was fantastic! sometimes chilly dogs, or pizza :DNow with the new menu from the Drury Hotels, even Chicken and salad!The rooms were very comfortable! It was so cold one time we went, you were cozy inside your room and your bed.Really, a five star hotel, and I hope to go there everytime i visit the US.

Second best Drury Inn Ive been to!window shades leave something to be desired but over all nice stay.
A/C regulated by company to not cool less than 76. Room humid as result. Staff should not allow wet people into dining room. Floors tracked with water trails throughout, potential slip hazard. The extras are the only reason we stayed but not satisfied. The pool, Omgoodness...no one to monitor occupancy limits. There will be an accident because pool so overcrowded no one can see a drowning child. TOO MANY HAZARDS TO MENTION. With an upcoming stay in July we are seriously rethinking our accommodations.
Staying at Drury Suits, McAllen Texas, for a work trip. Rooms are large and spacious and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was above average for your typical motel grub, and hit the spot after waking from a long day travel. Enjoying my stay so far.
They are one of the best hotel chains Ive ever used, and the McAllen location is no exception. The customer service was phenomenal, and the food, drinks, and stay was excellent. Highly recommended!
Here on family vacation with my small children and were enjoying the big comfy beds. The free breakfast and dinner. And the big rooms are also a plus. Very quiet and nice area lots of retaurants near.

Drury Suites has spacious rooms, excellent service, awesome hot breakfast in the mornings and during the evening they serve hot botana foods and complimentary drinks and fresh popped popcorn all the way til late night!There are two hot jaccuzzis that can be found on the grounds and a central grilling area to throw down a bbq!Overall, a great welcoming place to stay right off the main highway! Definately would recommend.

The rooms are neat with everything u need for an extended stay or all the extras to spoil yourself for a short one. Cleanliness is a must for the crew, Ive never had those yucky, hotel second thoughts while in this place. Those of u who are frequent hotelers, kno just what Im talking about. When u go to use the toilet, or a glass, or lay in the bed, or sit in the tub... and u stop and think... is this clean enough? If ure looking for that kind of place, keep looking! The price is, well, quite thrifty. Which is surprising for the comfort. But the icing on the cake is the staff. What an amazing bunch! They are helpful when they dont have to be, smile when you least expect it, and are there when you need them! Really, genuinely sweet. U cant pay for that. Well to sum it up, if u plan on staying in the valley and u stay anywhere else, youve made a mistake. THE HAILEYS

Room was not ready when for me when I got here. But it only took 30 minutes for it to get ready. Once I got in the room, everything was nice. The free food is good too.

2022-06-08Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Extremely disappointed about breakfast on Monday, there was no doubt that were leftovers from what we had gotten on Sunday. Unfortunately I even had to throw away the potatoes. Fried potatoes is one of those things you can not keep for next day.

2021-10-16Hotel staff is amazing. Every one from the front desk, kitchen staff, maintenance, and house keepers. They are all the best. Nice spread of breakfast and kickback dinner including alcoholic drinks. The hotel offers a nice pool, 2 hot tubs, grill area, small gym, small convenience pantry with basic necessities, laundry room that takes quarters, computer room for surfing the web or printing, and 2 large conference rooms. The rooms are nice no matter if you stay for one night or several months. Overall a great hotel, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

2021-10-26Stayed here for a few months last year, wasnt terrible, far from great. 24-hour maintenance staff at a hotel is a must. When my refrigerator door fell off the hinges and landed on my foot, they gave me the key to the room across the hallway and moved my stuff in the refrigerator over there. When they repaired my fridge, they put everything in my fridge, including the stuff that was in the freezer across the hall. This caused me to lose a little bit of money and seriously question the intelligence of the person that took things out of the freezer and put them in the fridge. Not a terrible hotel if you HAVE to stay here, but there are better options within a mile radius.

2021-10-23Drury, McAllen has been our home away from home during our work assignments down here in TX. This is our second time coming back for a couple months & upon check-in this time, Crystal & Vivi were such a help to us! Due to availability, we had to shift rooms a few times, but they were more than patient, kind, & resourceful in understanding in our long-term needs. They took the time & were assertive in helping us get settled. They are not only professional, but they’re kind & friendly. These gals are definitely gems & Drury is lucky to have them! They absolutely add to the comfort of staying at this location.
