Normally you get what you pay for, not here, for the price this hotel should be in much better shape.. Security doors are broken, building is run down and it appears that much of what you would to expect to find in your room has been stolen and not replaced. I do not recommend this location
Bathroom was dirty. Towels were also dirty, had to get a second set but they were also dirty. Checked in at 7pm or so at 1130pm someone banged on the door scaring my family. he stated this was his room. Apparently room was sold twice. This wasnt the first time either. When we checked in a guest came down and told the front desk that there was someone already in the room. Both myself and my family were scared to death to getting awoken in the middle of the night by someone banging on the door. The next morning when we checked out I told the desk and I was told it was their mistake and they refunded the guy banging on my door his money, but they didnt do anything for me. Seemed to care more about the guy scaring my family over a customer in the room. DO NOTY GO THERE.
For over $100 a night, this place was disgusting, but the only hotel available for labor day weekend. If I could give this no stars, I would, because this was ridiculous. The wifi is nonexistent, the whole hotel smells like a trap house, the microwave and fridges are dirty and disgusting, and the bed sheets werent even clean. They had debris on it once I pulled back the sheets. I had to remove them, and shake out the sheets, as housekeeping just cleaned the room. Very loose outlets. The floor and tables were dusty, and the only thing really clean was the bathroom, thank goodness. Which smelled like Fabuloso. But everything else sucked. Asked for another room, but was told they had none available. Asked for a refund, so I could go to another hotel, but was told that they werent able to process a refund, and if I wanted to leave, I very well could, but the room is paid for. Everything was unacceptable. Especially the lobby: dusy sofa and dirty chairs, overfilled trash, and a messed up kitchen. The guy working kept looking at me, so I couldnt take many pictures, but from the ones I took, you can literally see spilled juice on the table thats been there for hours, uncleaned. Do not waste your time or money coming here.
Our reserved room was given away. We were offered room 101 which was a handicapped non smoking room... That reeked of smoke. The plastic on the ac unit was actually stained smoker yellow.103 across the hall amazingly became available right as we were going into the room. We glanced in, it looked ok, and so we got switched to it.Later on we noticed the plaster was literally falling off the bathroom ceiling. We asked them to maybe remove it so we could avoid hitting it when we showered. It was there the whole stay. The floor felt like they put cleaner on it, but forgot to remove it. Actually didnt go barefoot except in the shower. The window had to be slammed shut to lock, and one lock was broken.Parking lot is cramped. And seems to fill up quickly. Now the good...The staff was helpful, and quick to get items we needed. Nice even when I walked up to the counter at 3am to ask for tp.Thats it really, the staff. They were great, besides the whole leaving a chunk of the ceiling hanging the whole weekend.Overall, I doubt Ill go to them again.
They rented me a non smoking room with a clogged toilet. There were roaches crawling on the bathroom ceiling. The room smelled like smoke. The room was two doors down from a smoking room. Which you could smell in the hallway. I asked for a refund. Was given a refund. I never stayed there. They kept my $113 anyways. Literally theft.
I’m giving 3 stars because the staff was so friendly and helpful. If I were basing my review on our room I would not be giving any stars at all. The lobby had just been cleaned when we arrived, so it was a little shocking when we got to the second floor and the hall smelled of cigarette smoke and urine. Our room smelled good, but the curtains were filthy with stains and burn marks. The wall had a burn mark on it and the sheets on both beds had burn marks. No smoke detector in the room. No amenities other than an iron and a blow dryer. No microwave, no refrigerator and no coffee maker. We had a room with two beds but there was only one towel in the bathroom. With the staff we encountered this place could be great but it needs a major cleaning and update.
Hotel was poor in every aspect. Booked a non smoking room, yet the room was like an ashtray. There were cigarette butts in the bathroom and under the bed. Will never book with econo lodge again. Wifi was bad and front desk wont help you if you tell them about the bad smell.
If I could give this place no stars, I would. Per the Econo Lodge website I booked a 2 Queen Beds, 2 Bedroom suite. When I went to check in I was informed it was only one room with 2 Queen Beds. Very misleading and the manager would rather argue than make it right. All the other bad reviews are right. Do not spend your money there.
First room the bathroom celling was full of mold spores, ( yes I do have photos ) Called 800 # to get another room, was advised that we were already moved to another room due to the first complaint. I advised the agent this was the first time calling, it probably was the person at the front desk when we were checking in. Second room we were moved to after the front office staff had to come verify yes there was mold in the bathroom, gave us a key while checking in a couple, We walked into this room I looked into the bathroom and immediatly advised that there was no way anyone could stay there due to the bathroom celeng was soaked and fallen on to the floor, the third room, mind you its 1 am now, we were put in was a smoking room, we could not leave since there was no key the clerk had to un lock and lock us in with a door key. the bathroom above you leaked on you when you sat down to use it. The window was stuck open. the remote did not even go to the tv that was in there. !
I made a reservation for one night a few days in advance. When I arrived around 5pm they said all the rooms were book and that they had a computer glitche that caused over booking. Lies. There was some university football game and they were only accepting the higher paying bookings. All the hotels were booked and I had to drive to another city to get a hotel last minute. They had called me at 4pm to cancel my reservation but I was driving, from 4 hours away, and didnt get the voicemail. Never in my life have I ever had my hotel reservation revoked by a hotel. I wouldnt have driven all the way there if they would have let me know in a more reasonable time frame. I will never stay here. This place is greedy and disgraceful. Shame on you.
Standing water in the shower. Guest services extremely poor. Health department will hear about this hotel. Ended up not staying because check in time is at 2pm waiting until 330 and still no room. The room they tried to give us had standing water in the shower and toilet constantly ran. Will never stay here or recommend to anyone ever.
This was the nastiest filthiest hotel Ive ever been to! As soon as you walk in the smell of cigarette is so strong and not to mention the hallway towards the lobby smelled like pee! We get to our room and it had no power, I let front desk know (which by the way the front desk lady was rude and unprofessional) I let her know that our room had no power and stated that I just wanted a refund and she refused to all she did was give me a key to another room. No way we were going to stay in that nasty hotel so we decided to leave and loose out on our money. I seriously dont know how this place is still in business. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone!
Bedding was dirty, there was oil on the comforter, there was hair on the sheets. It looked as if someone had barely left the room when they assigned it to us. There was popcorn on the microwave that was not cleaned up, and the window was unlocked and open. The window was difficult to get locked (it was on the 1st floor so it would be easy for someone to access our room with an open window) The room smelled of smoke, even though it was non-smoking room. Toilet bowl was not cleaned prior to us being assigned this room.
Omg!!this place was horrible. It looked like this hotel was abandoned. The room they gave us was all full of trash , no blankets poop on the toilet no no towels no toilet paper it seems like someone from outside was staying there cus even the side door was open so anyone can go in. All rooms where the same cus other couple complained too and left as we did too. If you care about your family dont even think about staying there. Old place TV was all dirty. Etc It doesnt deserve a star. I dont even know why they let this hotel be on booking
If I could give this hotel a lower rating, I would. I made a reservation for Sep 4-6, over a week in advance. I had a confirmation number. I called the hotel at 11am, local time, to ask if I could check in, early. I was told our rooms werent ready, yet. Then, the hotel called me at 6pm, & told me they had to cancel my reservation because they were booked solid. What. The. Hell? Seriously unprofessional. When my husband called to speak to the manager, she hung up on him, & would not answer the phone when he called back. VERY seriously unprofessional. We are already IN El Paso, & have nowhere to stay!
Positive: I paid too much for that room. The going rate for Econolodge at this time of year is usually only $--- per night in that sort of low-income, highway traffic noise region of El Paso, TX. Room did not have micro-fridge. But comfortable, nonetheless. Negative: Outside parking lot is extremely dirty/filthy/garbage everywhere, other guests throwing dirty baby diapers in parking lot, pizza boxes, beer cans, fast food garbage, shoes, condoms in their parking lot. I dont think Choice Hotels Intl. knows. Dreamers!
1st and foremost, the lady at the front was very very rude. She stated she had no rooms available without even asking if I had reservations even after I informed her I did. She tried to walk me. I have reservations for 3 nights I doubt Ill be here that long. The building is full of smoke. Very bad. It does seem super sketchy around here so thankfully I have my gun on hand just in case. No fire alarm, only 1 light has a bulb and what appears to be blood stains on the walls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I will be calling choice hotels in the morning for a hotel change.
Not up to the Choice Hotel standards to put it mildly. This might be the worst hotel in their entire collection of hotels! See the pictures I took. The room smelled bad too . Pool was filthy. In case you are wondering about The ironing board in the bathroom, it was in there already and the only place to put my toothbrush!
This was the worst smelling hotels Ive ever been in. The lampshades are broken, place is filthy, and the rooms smell horrible. When I reserved a room online, it was alot more appealing. The whole place smells like cigarettes and the pool and jacuzzi were completely empty.
Customers service is very poor at the location in El Paso Tx on N. Mesa. I was just woken up by the lady at the front desk demanding payment for last night. I told her we are paid through until Monday morning. She tried to tell me that a Saturday night is $110.00 dollars, when I only paid 88 for a Friday night. They are trying to scam more money from the guest. Management said he would speak to her, but acted as if he could care less. Do not stay at this motel.
Needs updating. Smoke alarm missing, just wires hanging. Needs new mattresses. Sheets need replacing. Not enough electrical outlets to charge cell phones and hearing aids. When you walk up to the back door trash can is over flowing, not a very good impression. On the positive, AC works very well and a good location.
It was very poor and unsafe. There was smoke in a non smoking room with smells of weed in the hallway..The smoke detector in our room was covered. We were moved rooms and was promised a discount that was not received. The front desk was friendly enough but did not seem to have proper costumer service. I was very uncomfortable there.
Room was horrible, I asked for a different room and that room was either assigned to someone or not clean. Asked for a refund that was 10 days ago. My credit card show two charges for 116.33 but no refunds. I called the hotel and they told me that I have to talk to the manager but he was not in until next Saturday. I asked for someone else to help me and the lady hang up on me.I will give 0 stars but there’s no option.
It was decent for the price. Check in was long and unnecessary. The rooms were great and cozy. The bed was lumpy but doable for one night. The laundry facility is a plus, the breakfast was small and disorganized. But grateful for it, as it was still free! The location was perfect - but VERY hard to find. It is tucked back there and we drove around multiple times trying to find it. Some staff members were awesome, but most didnt speak English. Safety was ok, but the back door was always unlocked - anyone could come in. Nerve wracking some, at least the bedroom doors locked. Not a bad stay. Also, the counter tops in the bathroom hit your back/shoulder right as you sit on the toilet! Very uncomfortable to hit a counter top each time you have to go to the bathroom.
Hotel from hell!!! If you value your life do not stay here. All bad reviews are true and any other than bad is fake. Will be calling Choice hotels, they should be ashamed of being a part of this scam. All hotels in area were booked because of Jeff bezos space flight near by. I left and slept in my car.
Awesome guest service they have a nurse living in the hotel she is glad to help when she can. The new owners are great very pleasant people. Got to know all of the people who work there they are all amazing people. The stay was great. Had great service everyday I was there. Breakfast was good. Even the maintenance guy and the house keeping staff were great. They absolutely love pets. I personally brought my python and everyone was perfectly fine with meeting him. Will come again.
The 4 of the 6 staff members are ridiculously rude, theyre unprofessional, and countless guess have refused to stay and/or continue their stay because of their unwelcomed behavior.I would gladly give a much better review albeit this is the first thought that comes to mind when someone ask of my stay at Econolodge on Mesa, West of EPT. As of March 12, 2021 i refuse to go back until the new owner hires new employees, employees im sure of which he has heard this about many times over for the past 2 months.
I would rate this as a 0 if I could. They allow pets, but no real place to take your pet to go potty.Made an online reservation for a single king sized bed, non smoking. Show up and said they didnt have a single king non smoking but they would give me the more expensive and roomy double full size non smoking....at the same price.A full size bed is nowhere near as large as a king. The room stank of smoke and vape (e-cig)There was something petrified on the floor. The refrigerator leaked condensation water all over the floor. There was an empty mountain dew box on top of the window curtainsThe outlets were loose or hangingDirty towelShower repair looked like a child had done it.Dont stay here if you can avoid it.
They have roaches in the rooms. when you make reservation and its confirmed with by email they still tell you room was not booked upon arrival. They tell guests that another hotel guests was watching them come in and out room and should not have any visitors inside room. Ref roof and La Quinta inn next door go there instead worth it.
This was easy to access from I10 while traveling. Though I thought it was a bit pricey for an obviously older hotel, it wasnt as bad as some others in the area. Room was clean and comfortable and I felt that I was in a safe location and also felt that my car was safe in the parking area. The staff was very nice. I did not use the breakfast facility.
The less than 2 hour stay was the worst and filthiest stay in a hotel Ive ever experienced. The bathroom was the nastiest with a toilet ring that looked like it was there all year long with the filth in the the bathtub. The bed had a funny smell and the carpet didnt look like it was ever cleaned. The desk clerk and the manager Alma Gonzales decided I was there 3 hours and could only receive a refund of half of my payment. They dont deserve any stars nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone.
We have never been so disappointed in a Choice hotel. The first night there, we noticed that the room had not been vacuumed well (or at all). There was a French fry in clear view, under the desk, and a piece of Chex cereal in front of the nightstand. But other that that, the room appeared clean, so we decided that could be fixed the next morning. That night, we were awakened by a beeping smoke detector. The way that they beep when they need a battery. This was reported to the front desk, and we were assured that it would be fixed. We left for the day, to come back to not only the Chex cereal, and the French fry, but also to a completely disabled smoke detector. I guess that was how they decided to fix the beeping. We also noticed that the coffee station in the room was not set up. We had no plastic cups, no creamer, and only one styrofoam cup.All of this remained exactly the same throughout the entire length of our stay. The french fry stayed. The Chex cereal stayed. The styrofoam cup remained alone. And the smoke detector remained useless.Since we spent very little time in the hotel (and we didnt want anything to happen to our things), we didnt raise too much of a fuss. We did complain to the front desk about the smoke detector, and they assured us that maintenance was working on it. We never saw any evidence of that.On our last night there, we asked the front desk how often the rooms are supposed to be vacuumed. The young lady assured us that they were to be vacuumed every day. When we informed her that this was not the case, she sincerely apologized. After breakfast with family the next morning, we came back to collect our bags and leave the hotel. We then let the man who was now at the front desk know that we were not very happy with our experience. No apology. Not really much of a reaction at all.Prior to this last stay, we have always been very happy with the Choice family of hotels. We will most likely continue to use them when we travel, since they usually offer such great value (especially with our membership points), but after this last experience we will be more open to choosing non-Choice hotels.Thank you.
OK not really impressed. The room was clean, but needed to be updated. The check-in clerk was really nice but the gentleman that checked us out was very dry and had no people skills whatsoever. The breakfast was very undesirable and looked like it was an after thought. But you get what you pay for, plus we just needed a room for the night so it served its purpose.
This is the worst hotel they do not turn on the air. Not even in the hallway.Sheets where dirty and so was the bathroom hair everywhere I even found a used shampoo bottle in the shower. It makes me wonder if it was actually cleaned. I complained about how hot it was because they didnt turn the air on in the hallway nothing was done about the thermostat on the wall in the hallway was 101 during the day and 98 at night time my room didnt cool down until 1 am. I used my points for a free night and wish I never did. I have traveled all over the united states and this room was the very worst I have ever stayed in.
We got to our room pretty optimistic, it all started out good, until we looked at the bed sheets and the pillows. They were covered in cigarette burns. We asked the front desk for new covers and pillows but the ones they gave us were also covered in burn marks. We had two TVs but neither worked, we opened one of the drawers and it was full of ashes. The fire alarm was gone, but we found it in another drawer with cigarette burns on it. One of the lamps didnt have a light bulb, another had wires exposed only covered by a McDonalds straw. When I took a shower there was the needle of a syringe stuck on my towel and it poked me. The mircowave looked like it worked at first, but it started sparking when we turned it on to check if it worked. There wasnt even food in it. And the mini fridge, oh my God the mini fridge. It smelled so bad and it wasnt even cold. Worst place Ive stayed at, Id rather die of hypothermia in my car than stay here again.
The fringe didnt work, and maybe a little of cut fruit for breakfast will be nice, but the rest of the stay was very good. Love the privilege program, stay 2 one free. I will specialy recommend this hotel, there was a police car going around the parking area and that is something that we liked very much security is very important, as meny other travels we dont bring all of our stuf into the room.We enjoyed and recommend you as we have already done with 2 other couples, we told them about the travel program and the pet advantage.Thank you.
The room was smelly. The sheets were not fresh. The restroom toilet and shower were dirty. Was not able to get a full refund after only an hour or less but was told that we had been there 3 hours. The staff members comment to me after talking to her was that the hotel was not a new hotel.
I only gave them one star because I couldnt post a comment without doing that. We stayed at the hotel on 04/15/18. We were very disappointed and shocked with the condition of our room. We stayed in room 202. When we walked in, the room looked clean but had a bad smell. As we were unpacking we noticed the curtains were falling, there were some kind of juice or liquid stains on the wall. Some smudges of food on the dresser. The bathroom was the worst. There was mold all over the shower curtains and slime on the inside of the plastic around the blow dryer cord. There was plastic in the ice bucket which had water in it with small black particles floating in the water. There were grease stains on the wall. There were black/mold stains under the sink. The toilet paper was hanging ans the empty tissue dispenser was really beat up and dirty. There was no smoke alarm in the room. After being plugged in the fridge was making loud noises so we unplugged it and realized thats where the bad smell came from. We purchased a can of Lysol to get the smell out of the room. Staff said they didnt have any other rooms available. I contacted Choice Hotels to make a complaint. They said the hotel has 72 hours to return a call back. The breakfast area was a disgusting mess. Even though it was a continental breakfast, the whole are was so dirty and unsanitary. I dont recommend this hotel! I wish I could add pictures !
I was trying to save money but soon realized that paying another $50 at a different hotel is worth it if it buys me the feeling of safety and security. A guest at the front desk seemed stoned and was staring at me spookily. He reached toward me until the clerk asked him to sit down. Another guest took the front desk clerk hostage (metaphorically) by forcing the clerk to help her find her credit card before helping other guests (me). She had the credit card in her purse the whole time. The room was dirty: the bed frame had stains, a chair had crumbs on it.
I will never stay here again. I got two rooms and one of them was a non smoking one and it smelled like weed and numberous times someone tried to come in in the mid of the night. The second room i got was a smoking room and it was room 124 the ceiling in the bathroom needs to be fixed before it falls throught. I really didnt appreciate housekeeping just trying to walk in my room without knocking or saying housekeeping. I feeled very violated and disrepected.
Overpriced for an outdated building. There were giant roaches jumping at me right outside the front door so I didnt dare try the breakfast the next morning. Our room was across a crime scene room being monitored 24/7. Made me feel unsafe. Hairs in the tub drain, no bathtub plug. I will never stay at an Econolodge ever again.
We had a great stay. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I slept really good. I have a moving service so I travel alot and look for the cheapest yet best reviewed rooms for me and my guys. I payed $60, fast check in, nice staff, clean room so to me, that is a great deal. This will be my goto Hotel in Las Cruces from now on.
Took too long to check in, room assigned was under renovation and I had to return to the desk to get another. The room given me was a smoking room, I didnt have the energy to request a third room and put up with the smell of smoke. The room was poorly kept, light bulb missing in one of the bedside lamps, no pillowcase on one of the pillows, numerous cigarette burns on the bathroom sink- room 222
I stayed for 2 nights, not disappointing at all. Paid $50 bucks per night, with fast enough Wi-fi, breakfast was good, pool, and the room had everything i needed, enough room for up to 4 or 5 people. Its not the best hotel, but it certainly has everything you need. Comfortable and good service, for being a cheap place to stay, it has everything you need. Better than Motel 6, and way cleaner.
Im so disappointed in what I saw when I entered my room, the bed looked like someone slept in it , on the dresser where the tv is was smeared with food or something , I walked into the bathroom and there was something smeared all on the sink and the toilet had urine drips on it. Me and my husband grab our stuff and went to the front desked to tell them what we had just seen and all he said was sorry and that he couldnt give me my money back !!! Disappointed! I work in a Choice Hotel as head of housekeeping and I would never allow our rooms to be rented like that. Filed a complaint with Choice Hotels cause I deserve to get my money back , we were only in the room for maybe 2 mins and we cant get our money back .
From check in to check out, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The manager is unfit to manage a hotel, rude, yelling, treating both staff and guests abysmally. Rooms are dirty and awful. The building was built so cheaply the floors squeak, and the sound is loud between walls. Breakfast was awful. Terrible location, hard to drive in, park, and get out.
Stayed here with wife for 1 night in room 207. Asked for a room on the top floor and was punished for that request by getting a room that was about 9ft shorter because of the broom closet. Because the room was so small we had to sit sideways on the toilet. Also no microwave, which is another reason we normally stay at Econo Lodges. It did have a fridge in the room, but it wasnt clean. Also no ironing board and Iron. Right below our room is the Motel laundry facility. We were lucky that they didnt have much laundry during our stay. Stay away from room 207!
Ive been driving across the Midwest and down to Texas, with my kids and dog. I found Econolodge to be a good hotel brand until I reached this location in El Paso, Texas. Initially, I was intending for a longer stay because I was relocating and needed a hotel for a week until I found an apartment or house. Instead, I check out of this location on day two after getting a bad vibe about this place. First, I get a call the next morning telling me I had left my dog behind and to come pick it up. I had requested a weeks reservation upon registering in person when I arrive the day before, (beside my medium size dog was in a large dog travel container, as most hotel require this). No mention, as to where my luggage was during the phone conversation, It was after checkout time, I was across town meeting with someone, so I asked the hotel staff to extend me for one day so I could fix the problem when l returned to the hotel. When I got to the hotel and found the employee that originally help me he said, I never asked for a longer stay and insisted dog was loose in my room, I checked and my dog was still in her kennel. The staff made then made another one day reservation and me pay upfront again .... I wasnt feeling too comfortable with the staff after he and the manager started speaking in whispers in foreign language (not spanish/english) with me standing in front of them. My kids and I were really tired from driving 8 hrs for 3 days and didnt want to repack our luggage and dog kennel just to drive around to find another hotel. The hotel grounds and room were also very sub-par compared to all the other choice hotels wed had been staying at.... and trust me weve been staying in a few hotels for about a month because we had to move out of our last rental and had our furniture pack up by the moving company. I have uploaded some pictures of discrepancies that would have made me not select this place. There are other hotels near by but Im not sure how dog friendly they are. Lastly they dont fully stock their breakfast area, (again comparing it to previous Econolodge locations) but the machines are still visible so it looks bad not to be able to use items like the waffle maker and juice machine and etc. The clerk when not behind the front desk was sitting on the lobby coach watching TV. Our family did check out after the second night and went to another choice hotel about 6 miles away, such a better kept hotel, full services and friendly staff. Lastly, I am reviewing this hotel on google.maps because I wasnt able to leave review on the choice website after logging into my account, I would have preferred to let the Franchise know about this location.
Hotel price was reasonable and staff friendly. This hotel is starting to get kinda worn out in appearance.Large room w/ king bed and sofa.bed spread had dark stain from somebodies boots/ shoes.dirty hallway carpet on far end of building.wallpaper peeling above shower and large hole in window screen.breakfast could use some yogurt and bananas.
The room didnt have more than 2 towels ,one large ,one small for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room didnt have a coffee maker or a coffee. The room was not attractive. Old and smelly.Condition of the room is a $30 motel .Breakfast was ugly. They only had a few small muffins and expired waffle mix which they put back in the fridge and smelled like rotten eggs. The syrup was expired .They had nothing else to eat and it was nasty dirty .I will not stay or my family in this kind of hotel again .The worst experience and paid $70 for it even thought I found a hotel for $50 (motel6) which could been better.Very disappointed ..
I mean. If you are needing a very affordable and clean hotel right off the freeway that takes big dogs for a low fee (unlike everywhere else in El Paso apparently) you really can’t beat this. Right near a bunch of restaurants too. This place does its job exactly as it should.
The air conditioner in my room was noisy, falling apart and barely worked. The fridge was left unplugged by housekeeping or a previous guest when I checked in, so all of the food I put in it went bad and I didnt realize it until the next day. Staff were unhelpful and rude. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone else.
This place wasnt real bad Im sure it could have been worse but the whole whole tail was hot I got out the shower and started sweating and it went I didnt even take a hot shower the water smelt funky and when I brush my teeth it tastes like mildew there wasnt much for the breakfast menu at all and half the lights in our room didnt work but for a quick one nighter itll do

2022-06-12Look the rooms could defiantly use an update. However , I love staying here. Staff is super friendly I can have my dog no issues. They have like a cheap little snack bar at the checkout counter. Laundry. Inexpensive but super good staff. I should mention however, that if you are a judgemental person and get nervous around people that are potentially perceived to be a lower class. Then dont bother. Because you wont like it. I can say this the first time I walked in there , a man was sitting in a dress right in the lounge area. ( She was amazing BTW) So not your typical crowd. Never had an issue or problem there ever.

2022-04-10Absolutely awful. I cant even rate this place. The front desk person was watching TV while servicing us. While having a full on argument with another customer. I feel we should be compensated for the awful room situation and customer service. I believe people were being taken advantage of with price guage because it was spring break. I had a gapping whole in the ceiling in the bathroom. When I spoke to the desk person he said that it wasnt his problem he couldnt do anything about it. I am in the process of getting this hotel reported for the poor condition its in. As proof of other reviews from times before this one and fact that the owner(s) seems to be doing nothing to rectify the problem So I would not suggest that you stay in this hotel.

2022-03-25I was lied to. I called asking about 4 listed price. He was so nice and helpful I asked if he had a rm at 6:30am. Yes. Get! Showed up 6 minutes later and price went up almost double. Driving to see my son grad Navy Nuke power school school. Why lie? Does he want to be treated like that? Idk I thought it was responsible to get off the road when this tired. I hope nobody treats his family the way he did me!

2022-02-27This place was trash!!!!No remote to tv. We stayed in room 104 and we heard the night workers laughing and talking all night. Did not get any sleep. We heard the night worker banging on door of someone who was not supposed to be there. We heard cussing. Sounded like someone was trying to get into our room. Please please do not stay at this place. We were tired and desperate from our drive. I would of rather slept in my car at a truck stop tha n stay here. Room was clean but everything extremely old. Broken chair in waiting area. Food on floor and floor needed to be mopped and worker said she had to clean it but when I went out hours later it was not clean. This place was just horrible

I go to my room there was a man inside “fixing our bed” he leaves i try to call front desk our phones dont work…i check the bed no covers and had cigarrette burns..(so was he in there fixing my bed?) the bathroom was peed i go to ask for another room and the front desk lady says there are no rooms but will “refund me” guess what i have 2 charges when i did not even stay and she says she returned it and that thats why she gave a me a receipt..but my receipt says 76$ two times never again am i going to any of your locations

2022-03-27This room was way over priced. The rooms and halls were still needed remodeling done. The breakfast was good. The was bread no butter, or oatmeal but no hot water

2022-05-25I stayed in an Econo Lodge in Albuquerque before, and it was an acceptable hotel for the price. This one in El Paso is not. The entire lobby and rooms stink like mold and cigarette smoke. There were stains on the ceiling that look like mold constantly grows but they just clean it off periodically. Just a run down hotel that feels dirty

2022-03-17Pros-Great location and easy to get to. Staff was very friendly and professional. Cons- Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Burn marks on the blankets and stained sheets.
