The staff was great until we checked out! The room itself was disgusting. The bathtub hadnt been cleaned, the towel rack was broken, there were ants in the kitchen and the pull out couch as well as the other 2 beds bedding hadnt been changed out. It definitely wasnt worth the early fee check in either they shouldve waived that much. If you were just looking for a bed and didnt expect much else it definitely served its purpose. I will definitely not be staying here again.
Good: There is a small kitchen where you can prepare your food. Microwave oven, fridge, stove. Props for that.Bad: Internet slooooooow. Extra cost for normal speeds. If you want to upload your daily videos, you wont be able to. There is a Starbucks nearby with more than decent speeds.There is no breakfast though advertised. No coffee or hot water either.
I loved my stay here. Was promptly greeted by desk clerk Seleni. When I got to my room I found that the remote did not work and TV would not display full screen. She quickly gave me a new remote and offered to come up and fix tv issue. While she was there she also fixed non working room phone. I left to run some errands and upon my return my key did not work. She remedied that as well. My bed was comfy and AC worked great. The water pressure in the shower was lacking. Was in town to lay my brother to rest. Thank you for making my stay very pleasant. Seleni deserves a raise. She is a true asset to your hotel.
First got there ac was broken the dresser was broken couch was broken moved us to a different room found roaches and have pictures to prove went to a different hotel and a week later had to call for a refund a week later they hadnt even checked us out although we talked to them when we left
I do not recommend this location. I have used Extended Stay America hotels for the past 6 years for work. This was the most horrible location. When I booked my appointment, I book through corporate for 13 weeks. It locks in the rate for my entire stay. This location did not honor the corporate rate and increased the rate halfway through my work contract as it is a franchised location. This has never happened in all the years I have been traveling for work.I ended up having to cancel my work contract early due to a safety situation that happened at this location. The front desk clerk gave a man a key to my hotel room. I had both locks secured on my hotel door. The man was able to get threw both locks and enter my room while I was in the bathtub at 8:55pm. The way the room is set up, he was less than 5 feet from me. I yelled at him to get out; which shocked him to back out of the room. I felt violated, vulnerable, and scared. When I called the front desk to report it, I was told that they were busy with checking in a new guest and would look into it when they were done. I dont agree with that response. When a single, female traveler tells you that a strange man got into their room, you come check it out. I called the cops seeing as how my safety was not a priority. I was able to pack up my room during the night and left the next morning for fear of my safety, staying with a co-worker. When checking out, I was told by the manager that this was the second time the front desk has given out a room key to an already occupied room within the past few weeks.Since I pay weekly, I asked for a refund for the rest of the week as well as a refund for my stay. My contract was canceled because I was having physical reactions left over from this situation and it affected my job as a nurse which compromised patient safety and care. This cost me thousands of dollars in wages. Ive have been diagnosis by my doctor due this trauma and have gone into therapy. This situation will stay with me for the rest of my life.If I can share my review and experience and prevent this from happening to someone else then it would bring me some peace.
Positive: They had no cautions sign or floor mates inside or outside. I had fallen .. All I get is here is a Neosporin and a bandit. Property manager is gone for a month. Manger was not on duty. They have not given me the 20% off or refunded me the money. ¿ Negative: No.
I dont normally post negative reviews as I try to offer a little grace for certain circumstances, but this facility is not worthy of any stars. As soon as you walk in you can tell the lobby has not been vacuumed in quite awhile. There was some construction going on from water damage in an upper room and daily debris and cleaning was never done so floors remained dusty. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and a couple of bags of yard debris by the entrance stayed there through Saturday night. Asked for two clean towels Monday morning....they didnt have any. Returned 8 oclock that evening and the lady handed me the two last towels she had before leaving for the night. Morning coffee was lukewarm brown water. There were no grab and go breakfast items as advertised. The exercise room was closed and used as a staging area for the mentioned room repair. Pool furniture was a single broken office swivel chair. They post signs of their 10 step sanitation process for cleaning each room during Covid times but I find it hard to trust when the standard levels of cleaning in the public areas are lacking. Microwave in our room still had small loose food particles in it I cant blame the workers as they appeared to be doing the best they can with what they got. Did not see any active management over the holiday and wonder just who owns this facility. One positive thing was that the swimming pool appeared clean and maintained.
Positive: Im not one to complain much but there was leftover fish in the microwave, food and trash under the couch, the biggest cocktail roach sitting in front of the couch, nasty pee stains on the pull out bed couldnt use it. But I felt all the rooms were bad. Negative: Not much I liked at all. Also the stove knobs were off so it took me forever to figure out if they were on and off. One if my worse hotel experiences though the staff was nice. Hotel was badly kept lacked complete cleanliness
Be wary of staying here because your vehicle could be broken into. Had family stay in unit 315 and thats what happened to them. Sure, the staff is friendly, but they do not have security cameras or anything to help when this happens. Keep that in mind before you book.
DO NOT STAY HERE! My family stayed here this past weekend and they did not like it one but. This place is old, dirty, and needs a remodel. The carpet smelled. The lamps were rusty. The locks didn’t work. There were random holes in the wall. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
Firstly let me say that the staff was wonderful and they deserve 5 stars, very pleasent and helpful and Jerrie was an absolute pleasure. However the overall experience was subpar at best. The room was clean but it clearly has seen better days. There was sharpie graffiti in the bathroom of a not so kid friendly nature, the ac was outclassed by the room and simply was not able to cool anywhere but the area directly in front of it. The window in our room faced some super bright lights from a nearby bank and only had a single curtain that didnt reach end to end on the window so there was no way to block out the light from the bank. We could turn all the lights off and easily read a book from the light coming through. The hotel had alot of graffiti in the elevator and walls and the whole place seemed to be missing the floor trim which definitely didnt make it appealing. We ended up cancelling out entire stay and left to another place at an significant cost because same night prices arent as good as a month in advance prices but it was worth the cost. Again I want to say the staff was excellent. Overall, I if I needed a simple, cheap place to stay Id go back but for anything more than just a bed to sleep, try elsewhere.
After arriving at 3:30 and waiting for our room to be cleaned for over an hour, we were told it would be awhile yet. That was enough for me, I said give us another room. The cleanliness was OK, but the condition of some of the items had long been need of a fix. Both lamps were broken and did not sit on the base and the shades laid over on their side. A drawer was missing from the dresser. The so called light in the bathroom was so dark, my husband wound up shaving in the bedroom area. Would not recommend.
Awful experience. The room they gave us that we had reserved online, days prior, was a filthy mess that obviously hadnt been touched by maid service! The other room they gave is in place of it only had a single queen bed, not the double beds and fold out couch bed that we had reserved and yet they offered it at the same price without any kind of discount. When we spoke to the manager the next morning, in hopes of procuring some kind of perk or discount, she could not have been more rude and condescending towards us. When I commented that other hotels offered a discount if they couldnt provide a comparable room to one reserved, she arrogantly replied, We arent other hotels! No you arent Extended Stay! You provided a miserable vacation experience!
It was a nice place to stay. The room was a very good size, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very nice. The kitchen was a good size with plenty of storage space. My one complaint was the shower. You have two options. 1. Little water pressure, so it takes a long to shower, or 2. Decent water pressure, but the water is so hot it burns your skin. Other than that, it was a good experience.
One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. Ants all over the desk & wall. The shower drain was clogged. A large part of the seal around the main door was damaged allowing bright light into the room and sound to travel through. Which I’m sure a lot of you can imagine with a dog friendly hotel and people slamming doors at 6am. The bath towels were wet and dirty upon arrival. The TV table was sticky and dirty. Belongings from the previous guest were left in the closet. It was pretty obvious the place had not been properly cleaned. The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We did have to call twice to get dishes and cooking materials. We have stayed at other Extended Stays with better accommodations. I would never stay at this one again.
The bed and pillows were too hard, difficult to get comfortable. And the curtain in my room wasnt large enough to cover the window, so had the bright lights from the bank next door shining in all night. The floor felt like it wasnt swept recently. Probably will not go there again if have option.
I can give a 1 star for 2 employees that were kind. The stay we had was awful. we Booked Thru priceline and on their web site it showed we would have Breakfast, Pool, Workout Room. We went to check in and the front desk said they were not offering any of those amenities at this time. We showed where we paid for them and they only told us to call Priceline they would not refund or give a discount It was late in the day so we had no choice but to check in. I had a room set for 4 people and had only 2 towels the pull out bed had food crumbs all in it. The rooms had no coffee makers nor did they have any breakfast or coffee downstairs. Pool was closed, workout room closed and elevator broke. We requested a week prior for a roll a way bed they explained no problem. I go to check in and no bed they said first come first serve. This hotel would be nice if it was under new management that cared!!!
Management was nice enough, but our room was more than shabby. Dirty toilet seat, no toiletries provided, no iron, lights had been removed from the ceiling to reveal dangling wires, no lightbulbs in our bedside lamps, and a tiny curtain that couldnt block the entire window. There was also a pest problem, with small tiny ants frequenting the bathroom counter. Inspected for bed bugs, but luckily did not find any. This place needs a serious makeover! I understand its not supposed to be a 5-star hotel, but Ive been in nicer places for the same or cheaper price per night.
The worst hotel I have ever Stayed at. It’s to old and towels are so bad they look old and small like it should be a hard towel not a body towel!!!! Also they don’t clean rooms only once a week that means you need a fresh set a towels you need to go front desk and give them the old towels for them to give you a set of small towels nasty!!!! I found a better hotel Radisson for a better rate like $20 cheaper!!!
No frills extended stay hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable enough. Common areas needed a good cleaning. Soap and one small tube of shampoo provided for a room with 2 queens and a pull out couch. Front desk staff were very friendly when I checked in. If you need a place to stay with nothing fancy this is a good place.
Excellent staff, super friendly and attentive. Cleanest affordable hotel in corpus that I have visited. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, making it really feel like home away from home. I love all the plants throughout the building as well. Overall very great experience and will be a return visitor.
I am not sure if we just got unlucky with the room that was given to us but this stay was a disaster. As soon as we opened the door the room had terrible odor. The fridge didnt work and we had to keep all food and drinks in an ice chest. The light in the bathroom wasnt working either, the hair dryer provided by hotel almost caused a fire. The A/C basically only worked when it wanted to and would cut out from time to time. I am not even sure if they cleaned the room prior our arrival because we found stuff from previous visitors in bathtub and the sheets on the bed were all stained with make up, lipstick and we found hair on the sheets.Reception was ALWAYS empty and he had to wait for someone to show up.When we were leaving we found out we are standing in dog pee in the elevator that was almost dried out. I am never coming back to any of extended stay of america ever again.
I have stayed at extended stays for years. This is the first time I wouldnt give the chain a great rating.You would be better sleeping in your car as everything they say they have in the room is a lie. You have to request everything for the kitchen which after 3 hours still wasnt brought to the room. The kitchen floor was sticky and the shelves cracked. Overall, house keeping if they even have any is extremely poor especially with what looks like mold in the bathtub. If you actually need to get any work done or check your email dont bother with their internet you might load a screen every few minutes with speeds that is closer to dial up speeds from the early 90s. I was slotted for several days but will change hotels in the morning as this place is a joke.Literally, the only good thing about this place is the location and the 2 girls at the counter.Short and sweet is just stay in your car and save your money as this place is a joke.The response below is obviously a lie since the didnt discuss anything late at night with the different departments.
Very accommodating hotel!! The room was very spacious, clean, more amenities than expected. Beds were very comfortable! Bathroom was clean and roomy also! Kitchen was clean too. Didn’t feel like someone else had been in that room for awhile! 😊 I Booked online. Checked in less than 5 minutes. Asked the lady working the front about some areas near by and she was pretty informative. Would definitely check this hotel out first before looking into another in Corpus.
As we arrived check-in went well. However after that we were very disappointed in our accommodations. We first entered the room and were met with an odor that was masked by a very ineffective air freshener. We then left the room hoping that the smell would subside upon our return. We were not fortunate enough to have this happen. Instead, we were greeted with the unbearable and DISGUSTING stench of kitty urine. My wife and I were extremely angry but at this point we were so drained from our busy day. I was also offended that our “UPGRADED” room had stained sheets, a broken bathroom light, missing drawers, half of an already used roll of toilet paper, and doors that could not lock. This is the last time we will be staying here. I’m sure we will not be compensated for the stay, so I hope this can serve as a warning to others. The young man working at the front desk was the one shining moment of our stay.
From the moment we arrived at this motel it was a problem. It only got worse from there. Not only does this location offer nothing they say such as a fully stocked kitchen but the house keeping is awful. Everything is given an upcharge & the breakfast they offer is coffee & muffins. On top of everything all the cleaning is $25 dollar charge. As well as pots & cleaning supplies. But they are not held to the same standards as my kid was poked by a needle during our stay. Customer service is a joke & I will be contacting a lawyer & local news. I will never stay in an extended stay again.
First room had dirty shower, sheets didn’t seemed as if there had been changed, broken tv spoke to front desk and was given another room, second room; toliet was filthy, shower leaked all night so all we heard was dripping sounds, it was obvious that vacuuming was don’t; there was food on floor from previous guest, come 530 a.m. a roach crawling on my foot Heck No!!! ...we got up a left..told front desk and she laughed, Never again will we be staying here. I don’t have pictures of the messy room but here’s the roach I smashed with my shoe...
Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and smelled nice. But, I spent more and booked this place because it said they provided breakfast. Except they were out of their breakfast items and wouldnt have any in for 2 or 3 days. After my stay was over. If you arent counting on breakfast, its a decent place to stay
We had a reservation for Saturday, July 6, 2019. We arrived at the hotel around 12 pm and stopped by the hotel to let them know we had arrived. We were told that check-in wasn’t until 3 pm but if we’d like to check in early we would have to pay $25. We told them we would just head to the beach and that we’d be back later to check-in. We hung out at the beach for a few hours and headed back to the hotel later in the day. When we arrived to check-in the clerk said that they were out of rooms. When we explained that we had an online reservation the clerk apologized and said that there were about six other people with reservations that she had to turn away because the hotel had been overbooked. No one called to inform us that there was a problem and by that time no other hotels had any vacancy. Our children were upset and crying because they were looking forward to staying overnight and spending another day at the beach. We had to drive 3 1/3 hours in the dark to get to home with crying children. I would not recommend this hotel. What is the point to a reservation if your room is just going to be given away, especially since we had already been to the hotel earlier in the day to say we were there?
We arrived the hotel look very nice, when we inquired about maybe an early check-in we were informed that would be $25 per room. Obviously we did not choose this hotel to spend extra money. We came back at check-in time there were a couple of people ahead of us who had booked rooms after the hotel was fully booked. We waited quite a while for them to finish up their non-business. We checked in the rooms were nice, although they were rooms with full kitchens there was not a plate utensil or even a coffee maker. And Priceline listed them as having a free breakfast, we were informed there was a grab & go breakfast which means just a few granola bars some prepackaged muffins and thats about it. It is not a breakfast without eggs toast and orange juice.
If I based this review off of my interactions with the front desk rep Robert alone Id give this place 5 stars. Robert is excellent.But unfortunately that is not my overall experience here.Im still here in this nasty room and will be here until the 9th, unfortunately.This room is dirty. There are bugs crawling out of the sinks, ants in the windowsill and on the air conditioner. Old stains obviously are everywhere!! This room wasnt cleaned well enough with all the explosion stains on the air conditioner, the fridge door and the walls. This is unacceptable living/accommodations conditions.Ill pay 100 more a night before subjecting myself to these conditions.
Room upkeep is not good @ all. Bed sheets & restroom towels dirty. Restroom mirror had toothpaste splatter on it. Told front desk she switched us room and the new room had dirty pillow cases and there was a random hair on the sheet. Front desk offered to switch rooms but I didn’t even bother just asked for new pillow cases and new sheets. First time staying @ Extended Stay and won’t be back here again. Good thing it was only for one night.
We asked for dishes three separate times and they were never brought to our room. The refrigerator was installed wrong and my 10 year old was the only person small enough to put anything in the refrigerator or get anything out. I booked the room because they advertised a pool, the pool was tiny and was closed the entire time we were there.

If you need anything all you have to do is call the front desk and ask and they run it up to you within 5-10 minutes. The staff was super friendly and always in a good mood. This place is well worth the money they charge which is actually less then a lot of fancier places that I didnt enjoy as much. Would highly recommend staying here. Also, not that I had one, but they except pets.

There were blood stains on the comforter. The room smelled like it was just fumigated and no do not disturb sign for the doors. Also a very annoying light on the ceiling above the bed. No utensils in the kitchen. Unheated pool. I’ve stayed at other Extended Stay America’s and this was by far the absolute worst, an embarrassment to the name. Oh and no breakfast whatsoever. A granola bar and coffee that’s it. Never again
Staff are very nice and friendly. They make sure that you have everything that you need to have a comfortable stay. Accommodations were fantastic. We were very happy with our stay at Extended Stay America and would definitely use them again when traveling. A big thank you to everybody that works there for making our stay so nice.
The staff is great, but the accommodation in the room sucks. The A/C does not cool down the room, the smoke detector is over the head of the bed so you are staring at a blinking light over your head every night, the bed is uncomfortable to the point I rather sleep in one of the chairs, and the dresser in the room we stayed in has a few broken shelves. As stated earlier the staff has been really good but the room itself has been less that great.
Horrible stay. This location was selected for us through Hotwire. Our room was on the 3rd floor next to the elevator. The room had a hole in the floor the size of a human right foot. The bathroom sink drained extremely slow. Both were reported to management the next morning. Nothing was done when we returned to our room. Our stay was for 3 nights. In addition, they tried to charge us an additional $35 for unexplained charges for our stay.
Nice clean hotel that is in a good neighboorhood and a short drive from the highway. It has a guest laundry facility, exercise equipment and a small pool. It is in a good location to get to several beaches or go shopping. It appears to have been recently renovated and everything looks to be new. Our room has a full size refrigerator which has been nice for cooling off the 40 pack of bottle water I have been using. It also has a microwave, sink, and stove . It is pet friendly, however I have not smelled anything in the three days of being here. I would stay here again.
I wrote the revised the review below because l was contacted eventually by GM wanting to correct the issue. I believe in second chances and one bad experience doesnt mean something cant be corrected. Everyone has been very accommodating and l am comfortable especially because 45 minutes after l arrived in beautiful Corpus Christi my family was involved in a fender bender. So you see the comfort of a hotel means a lot.The staff is great but room is dirty and l reported it, so far neither GM, Mgr or corporate contacted me. Housekeeping never came to reclean room.Floors are very sticky and found items under the bed.Had to order cleaning supplies.Very disappointed. Scheduled two weeks here but havent decided. Loved this place from the day it opened and have stayed in different ones. This one isnT what it used to be...
The concept of the hotel is good , but in my stay I noticed a few things that could be Improved. Well the first room we got the bed was two small , the reservation said queen size and we got a full, also there was a horrible smell in the room , we got upgraded after my wife when down to talk to them. So that was a plus on their behalf. The second room we got their was trash left from the previous stay also the sink in the kitchen drain was full of hair. Another thing is that I’ve stayed at Townsplace which is another extended stay but they included all the dishes , soap , spoons , pots pans , laundry hamper , dust pan etc...... So that could be another thing that could be looked at. Over all I wouldn’t stay here again. Pay a little extra and go to Townsplace.
Visiting Corpus with the wife and parents, two rooms. The lot is not lit well, no big deal on its own, but the place just seemed a bit off. We got our rooms, having been told they would be on the same floor, if not next to each other. Instead, they were on two separate floors, and 4 rooms apart, laterally. Not the end of the world, but little things add up. In addition, our room smelled faintly of smoke, theirs smelled STRONGLY of rotten onions. The scent was worst when you explored the fridge. No soap in the kitchen area and extremely uncomfortable bed to top it off. No roaches, and things seem relatively clean and safe, but all those other things add up. Not a horrendous place to stay, but certainly not a return visit planned.
Horrible experience. Started with wrong room types. The front desk agent was absolutely no help. Had to book additional room to accommodate the group. Room smelled like smoke and dirty. Phone did not work to call front desk. Wifi didnt work. Shower had no pressure. The room was suppose to include breakfast which was coffee and a granola breakfast bar. I could not have had a worse experience and will never book a Extended Stay America again!!! Motel 6 got them beat by a mile!!!!!!!!
Receptionist not very friendly. Had to ask fortea/coffee maker,which was in the description of the room, as they do not put them in the room unless someone asks for it??? Have cups and a microwave but not coffee maker?? Receptionist was on the phone and paused to give us the coffeemaker....no coffee or creamer though!!! Didnt bother to ask for it as she was clearly put out that we even asked for the coffee maker!!! Dont think we will return. Service with a smile!!!
Ehh; I stayed here two weeks. I got a job in Corpus but I am from San Antonio. I thought it was good for the price, it had a kitchen and fridge but; my room had ants that invaded my food and bugs in my bed that would keep me up at night. It was gross! No use paying this much for such a basic room. Staying at a motel 6 from this point forward.
Not a bad place for a good bed and a good night’s sleep. Staff was friendly and customer service was perfect.It’s not on the beach, but it’s centrally (and conveniently) located in town with short drives to the USS Lexington, Mustang Island, and the CC Naval Air Station. There’s also a handful of decent restaurants not too far away.I was hesitant to stay here after seeing some of the photos and reading the reviews, but it wasn’t that bad. The worst thing that I found was a trash can under the kitchen sink that was full of the previous guest’s food garbage. I contacted the front desk and set it out in the hallway and they emptied it within five minutes - no harm, no foul.They advertise it as having a full kitchen with amenities like pots, pans, dishware, etc., but none of this is in your room unless you request it. The room doesn’t even include a coffee maker unless you request it ahead of time - that’s downright strange.There’s also no ice maker available in the entire hotel - trust me, I asked.The free breakfast consisted of granola bars, coffee, hot tea, and instant oatmeal.Pro Tips:- The labels on the water controls in the shower are backwards. If you aren’t getting hot water, try twisting the other direction.- You will hear the people above you, so try and get a room on the top floor.- They have coin op washers and dryers downstairs - always a plus for a visit to the coast.- Bring your own hangers - my room only included a solitary plastic hanger from JCPenney - really weird.Would I stay here again? Yes. The price was right, the location convenient, and it was clean. Just know what you are getting into before you go folks.
We were told it was clean, it was not. Small, rough, extremely thin bath towels. Mediocre mattress, other people very, very loud all night long, ran out of t. p. Manager tried to take care of us, staff basically said they were out of anything that we asked for, like clean towels, and toilet paper. A coffee cups.
Great front desk service after 3pm . The check in lady that works mornings is horrible. But let me tell you Ralph comes in at 3pm and is completely Amazing. His service and hospitality is beyond impeccable. The hotel is worth the money! We have had a blast staying here. The only thing that I can is we will be back next time . We recommend this hotel and give it a fair 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The manager Jennifer is great if you have any issues find her to get them taken care of fast. The house keepers are do a very nice job. If you are familiar with this hotel chain then you know what to expect, this hotel is a stand out though simply for its great staff.
I have been a loyal customer for many years business and personal trips included. There has always been promotional code offers to my self and my employees. The past 6 months I have attempted to schedule rooms for multiple occasions. Unfortunately the promotional code I am receiving in my email have not worked for any scheduling. I am having to resort to other locations for stay. I would like to know if this is a temporary issue for the specific location in corpus Christi or a permanent solution for your business. and yes it is within the 30 days that I received the email however it is stating that it is not valid. I am currently trying to book a room online the prices increase by 10% every time I type in my email Im not too sure whats going on because it only happens when I get to the checkout screen. usually with other bookings and other hotels the more I stay the more discounts I receive not an upcharge! weeks ago your online server was not running and was temporarily out of order I called the desk to check if there was any rooms available and they said not at the moment however I called over the phone to the booking site and they were able to book me a room three days in advance. This hotel is seriously starting to create an issue as far as wanting to book with them.
Terribly disappointing for the money we spent. Dishes dirty, crap spilt on the walls, dead bugs in the closet and in the bathroom. The carpet was filthy. My two year old found pistachio shells and had them in her mouth, we didnt have pistachios. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, exhaust fan over the stove doesnt lead to anywhere except back into the room. Shower has spots of mold or mildew or some black disgusting substance. Cigarette butts everywhere outside. Pool area dirty and trash cans overflowing. The property is right next door to a night club so if you plan on sleeping Friday or Saturday nights forget about it.Had the maid come to the room and they didnt even vacuum the carpet.Bad bad bad experience. Worse part is I paid for the week so I am stuck here until Friday.AVOID!
BE AWARE!They dont honor the discounted price we reserved from their official website, even we have email confirmation with price. Couldnt reach the hotel manager, called guest relations several times and not able to solve the issue, just telling us unfortunately we cant do anything at this point… Wont do business with this company again.Hotel staffs are friendly.
The people are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a package of muffin or a granola bar. The palmetto bugs running around the room are the size of the granola bar. The water pressure in the shower is not relaxing. The ac in the windows gives you the option of freezing or boiling. Definitely not a luxury experience but I was very impressed with the workers themselves.
Value for price i would say 5/5. i take off 3 stars off because the bed is way too firm, the refrigerator compressor starts with a really loud click. And worst of all the AC which isnt ridiculously loud, but pretty noisy and is right next to the bed, and cycles on and off every 2-3 minutes which for one does not run long enough to reduce the humidity in the room, and two is annoying having it turn on and off. It wouldnt be so bad if the blower fan just stayed on constantly as white noise, but the AC compressor and fan was just on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off. I stayed here 2 nights and maybe got 5 hours of sleep my whole stay.
1 star is being kind. The front desk person came knocking on the door at 830 in the morning trying to collect payment. Luckily the safety latch was on because she then tried to walk in my room. This was the second room we were in because the original room had water dripping from the ceiling. Would not stay here again
We checked in here because we have had good service and rooms at other extended stay Americas but this one, very disappointed! I had to re-wash silverware, sweep up dead bugs from the closet floor and kitchen, clean spills off the walls, clean the floor, and tub. The weekend front desk worker was great but this place is not cleaned properly. The filters for the AC unit were filthy, we have a 2 yr old with us and there was loose change on the floor, pistachio shells... Imagine if she had choked on those? The pool area is a joke, cigarette butts all over, beer cans and other garbage. For a chain this large you would think they would take better care of this place. The wifi is horrible, I cant even use Netflix for my daughter, their channels are limited so no nick Jr for her. Definitely not a place for a family to stay. Oh and the security doors that you need a card to ever, yeah right, you can just pull them open!Update: staff has now started locking to pool area at a decent hour, though myself and another guest have changed the cigarette butts from the pool area. All in all the staff has become more accommodating to our needs. The manager, Ray, has made sure that things have gotten better.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly but thats about all I enjoyed about the place. The parking lot has trash, swimming area is falling apart, is supposed to be non smoking but lobby reeks of smoke. It does have a microwave, full fridge, and oven. I feel as though Im in a scary movie. I wouldnt recommend staying here to anyone I like.
Worst stay Ive ever had at any hotel. To start humid and muggy when walking into front desk. Other people we complaining with issues with room additionally elevator was broken and was given a room on the third floor which is the very top. Requested fresh towels and instructed to bring down other towels when 4 persons staying in 1 room and only given 2 towels. My first and last time I will be staying at this hotel.
Horrible! I I booked room from this hotel (so called) one week before my stay. But when I arrived here after 7 hour driving they said they were overbooked. I made my reservation and paid for it already. There must have been a room reserved under my name. They made me find another room that over-cost to me. Do not even think of staying here. This might happen to you too.
We have made a booking online early today and drive all the way from Austin. 30 minutes before we arrive, we get a call from Amerey saying that she apologizes but she does not have a room for us. I explained that we already booked and received a confirmation but she said there is nothing she can do for us. I stay in hotels at least once a month and have never come across anything like this. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be staying in this hotel chain anymore.
Really enjoyed the cleanliness, that alone made me feel good about the amount of money spent for the night. Staff is nice and mostly of the way, the only issue was a poor wifi signal but we didnt really come here to be on the internet. I would definitely like to run into more places like this.
DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL!Sketchy Hotel with filthy reception area. There was slime on the lobby sofa! The receptionist, Nicole, was very slow, unprofessional and unsure of her processes. She swiped my card and my sister’s several times, and said that there was a problem with the system. After about 20 minutes, I expressed concern about her inadequacies. She overreacted and accused me of being aggressive. So, I asked to speak with her supervisor. She got the phone and went to the backroom to privately speak with her supervisor. I soon realized, that Nicole is calculating and manipulative; she knows that labeling clients as aggressive gives her the right to unjustly kick them out. Nicoles supervisor, Amy, completely took her side and wouldnt listen to me. Amy, unjustly, asked me and my guests to leave. To add salt to the wound, as we were leaving Nicole told her boss that we were a bunch of old women and continued to make up blatant lies about us. It was memorial day weekend, so I suspect they wanted to up sale my room, despite the fact that I had booked it a month in advance.

I was bumped to another hotel, this location over booked and was unable to stay.Ive stayed at the Austin location and had a great stay which is why I looked them again in Corpus Christi.Front desk was as helpful as she could be about rebooking me to another hotel. I was tried and was not ready for a 60 minute delay and relocation.My review is 2 stars for taking a reservation they couldnt reserve. Rule of thumb, the whole point to a reservation is to hold on to the reservation.

The rooms are dirty, when I got here the bed had dirty sheets and the comforters had huge stains on them, they even had cigarret burns all over, when I went to let the front desk know they took away the dirty sheets but gave me the clean ones so get this I the guest who jus checked in could put them on the beds, wth?! Is this not your job!. Then I open the blinds so the sunlight could get in, I see that the head board had a huge stain with freakin HAIR stuck to it!!! It was soooo disgusting!! After all of that, the next day I asked for a vaccum bc I made a mess, I mean I was going to clean it and the housekeeper said they didnt lend the vaccums but they could let me borrow a broom!! Wth?! I said with a vaccum is easier and they said we can vaccum it for you but we will charge you for it!!!! .On top of that the carpet is very dirty it really needs to be replaced and there is limited channels to watch. What happened to hospitality, making the guests feel welcomed, if this is what you would like from a home away from home DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
Old tired and dirty, odd personalities haunt the corridors in a very creep way, for $3400 a month i think you could probably do better elsewhere! The odours that whaft through the building should be investigated by the CDC. Ita a great place to carry concealed if you have such privileges but on a positive note it is pet friendly
Well first off I would say that my family and I stay at ESA a lot. From Fremont, Pleasonton, Gardenia Ca. to West Minister, Colorado and El Paso, Texas plus many more. Never once have we ever had to purchase dishes and get only 2 items of plates, cups, spoon (no forks) toaster (no coffee maker) and one pan and pot (no lids). We have always gotten a set if 4. Because there is 4 of us. Plus they always gave us the dishwashing pods for dishwasher. So far at this ESA it isnt the greatest at cs. And it fails to display anywhere in the lobby about thier 4.99$ dish package you can customize for yourself.
Clean, spacious room. Comfy beds. Full kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. Swimming pool, exercise room, and coin laundry with vending machines. Television channels are lacking so have an hdmi cable on hand to connect your laptop. The free throttled wifi is enough to stream but if youre hitting a snag you can spring for the full speed wifi and theyll charge it to your bill. I was able to watch two full movies with no interruptions on Netflix just fine.
Its sad to say I really liked the hotel and staff in Corpus Christi but on the 23rd of March I tried to checkin early cause of a app from priceline its known as late night checkin I belive on express deal I happen to get the Extended Stay to my surprise. It was a help the week before due to some unforseen problems where I had been living. The hotel was comforting to see it at the end of the apps booking. I called to the hotel to verify my confirmation. The woman answers saying that theres no vacancies so I check with priceline to make sure and yes there room. With thinking anything but some rest I head over to the hotel and once there I find that yes there is room but unless your paying full price your made to wait in the lobby were I cocouldnt check my glucose level or give my self incline all because the fax machine didnt work for some strang reason and the front desk woman had no clue how to use the computer needless to say I had arrived at maybe 2:30a.m. and didnt get to a room tell after 7:00a.m. oh by the way I even had the agent from priceline speak to the front desk woman to confirm and that still wasnt enough to get a early check in. Hope other Extended Stays are more careing of there guest regardless if they book with a booking agent.
First time coming to this location and it will be the last as my family and I drove in we noticed that a lot of people have two windows open there was a good breeze figure people just wanted a enjoy the breeze seals outside come to find out the reason they have the windows open cuz it is super hot in the hallways and in the room were checking out ansave your money and go elsewhere unless you like sleeping in the heat yeahsave yelsewhere
Bloody matress on foldout couch. Requested additional blankets to cover bloody matress so our son could sleep there, was told they had no more. Smoke detector covered and taped with Walmart bag. Gum in carpet. Headboard smeared with sticky substance. Walls very thin, heard TV in next room all night, along with slamming doors and people stomping above us.. A/C dripped ALL NIGHT LONG, didnt sleep at all . ZERO stars. Enough said.
This is the most worthless motel I have ever stayed in.Just as a reminder this is an extended stay motel witch means refrigerator , stove, cooking utensils, plates, silverware, ect. The room is very filthy, found ants on the bed, blood stains on the bath room door, on the entrance door, the handle on the doors are stained, hair on the bed, you can tell that the floor was not mopped ,looks like they dont clean and sanitize the rooms after people checkout which is very unhealthy for people.
There was no room service unless you stayed more than 7 days had to return dirty towels to the office to get clean towels what you returned is what you got back if you were going to the pool seemed like they didnt want to give you towels def will not be going back where the cleanliness of this hotel
Worst experience Ive ever had with a hotel so farI got the hotel through price line , price line already charged me for the room, when I arrived to the hotel a guy came from another room with a non welcoming attitude, after checking my Id then he said the printer is broken and I will have to sign a blank paper so they can fill it in afterward, I said I will never sign a blank paper and he refused to give me room, I was frustrated but asked him to refund my money , he said h is going to do it for me, guess what there is no receipt because the printer is broken , now after few days and after talking to price line customer service I realize the guy did even refund my money, the customer service said they are escalating the issue to their specialist and I hope they find something bigger because the whole thing sounds very fishy to me
Decent enough place . A bit over priced for an older property thats in bad need of a remodel . The grab and go breakfast was a joke . Original oatmeal packets and package muffins . No cereal or fresh fruit . The grounds around the property are full of trash and cigarette butts .

2022-04-25I planned to stay 5 nights! I like the location and my room was quite, nice large refrigerator and comfortable bed. I decided to stay in the area two more days to try to see migrating birds so instead of moving to another place, I added two more nights and stayed here 7 days. Really enjoyed my stay! Clean, comfortable, quiet, good location and coffee and snack bars or oatmeal for breakfast!

2022-02-16If you’re planning on staying more than a week for work or such I don’t recommend. They upped the price agreed as soon as the first week ended and raised it again 2 more times during my month stay. I didn’t not have time to move to another hotel as I was working overtime every day. The wifi also sucks and it costs 20 dollars per week for the “good” wifi.

Her kindness was extremely appreciated and we will definitely be back just because of her hospitality. Thank you, Seleni!Good location, decent neighborhood, approximately 5 mins away from a bunch of quality restaurants and 20 minutes from the beach. Working tv, comfortable bed and clean towels. My only complaint is the shower water pressure is weak, if that’s something that’s a big deal for guests.

2022-05-25Positive: The location was great. Walmart, HEB, restaurants, gas stations, movie theater all within a 5 mile radius. Negative: My room was a smoke free room, and as soon as you walk in thats what you smell. As we waited to check in, the guest before us was complaining about his room smelling like cigarettes as well.

Moved to new room(220) but room had no microwave and shower head sprayed water outside tub. Rooms had no ventilation. We cooked and smoke stayed in room causing alarms to go off. No fan to blow smoke out.

2022-01-04Although the restroom was a bit dirty, everything else was great. Well I made it great by decorating it. Also, I booked the wrong dates and lost $62, it was not able to get refunded even tho I didnt even stay for that night. We wanted to get 2 toilet paper rolls so we didnt have to go back down but they only allow to give 1 roll at a time which I thought was dumb. I would only choose to stay here because it is close to the apartment and cus its cheap. But its like they say you pay cheap you get cheap.

2022-04-12Missing money.My wife checked in and dropped her wallet exiting the building. She immediately called the front desk and the lady at the front desk said she found it right away.Upon returning a few minutes later the same lady returned the wallet minus the cash. When asked about it she said it was turned in Like that. So was she lying when she said she found it right away and picked it up outside seconds after it being dropped?Rooms a messFood under bed from previous renters. Bathtub broken,tape on carpet where it was ripped,ceiling falling onto bed. Not worth the price.

Negative: On the website,it says On the go breakfast but when we went to the lobby to see what was offered for breakfast, desk clerk said that they didnt furnish any breakfast any more. That they stopped it several months back. Not happy about this.
