DON’T RENT A BOAT HERE!!!!!Really DISAPPOINTING and poor customer service..... I’m a business owner I know how important google reviews are so we gave them a chance to make this right and waited enough days that I couldn’t not review them!We called them back in the beginning of June to rent a boat for a day we had rented a boat at another location the previous year and the boat was unbelievably slow (I understand that could be a good thing for people that have no experience) that’s not us.....so we called Flowing wells told the lady our concern she reassured us that the boats went 30mph and we would have no issues they called us a week prior to getting there and said they had another boat come available would we like to rent on Saturday also so that’s two days of boat rental both days 2 different boats we were told that on the phone so we knew that before hand no big deal! When we arrived on Saturday morning they had to do the paperwork and a walk through on the boat which Jeff (the manager) or that’s what we were told he was is the one who did the walk through my husband ask him again will this boat go 30 he said yes no problem it has a 200hp motor and should do that easily so we got everything done pulled out and shortly we realize no gages are working on the boat and the boat won’t go over 16mph we only had 5 people on the boat and we realize this is gonna be rough we at least wanted to go to the beach area in front of our house and it took an hour to get there Going 16mph it was ridiculous it wasn’t that far and no reason why this boat wouldn’t go faster so it was obvious this boat wasn’t running correctly when we went in at 4:30 to turn it in we told the guy at the dock and went to the office the lady we spoke with on the phone was there she recalled the whole conversation but it was like they didn’t care no big deal and forget seeing any manager again they assured us our boat on Sunday would go 30mph now all that being said one would think just cancel the boat but no this place charges you the full price not a deposit and you can’t cancel or you loose your money! So we were stuck and thought well we Will talk to someone on Sunday with authority and they will care enough to say I’m sorry this happened (we also was told this particular boat we had was just out of the shop from having a repair) so right there is enough information to know we aren’t lying the boat has something wrong with it!So back to Sunday we get there do the paperwork and ask the lady is the guy at the doc yes he’s waiting we get down there and no one is there and we waited 30 mins for a key ummmmmm we only get this boat a short time compared to the money you spend and now we are waiting on the boat for 30mins we called the office TWICE so ridiculous! But this boat was great went 28mph and worked great had a 150hp 4stroke that right there tells you the boat the previous day should of ran just as fast 🤔 the first day they charged us $90 in fuel on the broken boat and $60 the next day....... the first day we had the boat half the time and it was eating fuel so we were extra aggravated about paying for a boat that had problems they knew it wasn’t right and acted like whatever and never said I’m sorry or thats not good we asked to have the owners or a manager to call us that it wasn’t right no one ever called so we waited and called a few days later again given a run around about who’s in authority at this place? (Someone also said they are under new ownership) a lady got on the phone and basically said we will give you 20% back ok first off you are acknowledging that there is a problem and 20% that’s $92 that paid for the fuel that wouldn’t of been $90 if the boat was running correctly!!!!!! Just poor customer service and not right idk what the resort is like but I can tell you don’t rent a boat they don’t care! I hate giving bad reviews but I also hate being taken advantage of unfortunately hopefully this saves someone else $500 a day for a boat!
Absolutely worth it! The pictures does this place no justice! Its Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, clean and comfortable! If youre considering staying here look no further. The best!

Ive stayed at this place many of times for one night. They no longer allow for a 1 night stay. I have children and cant get away anymore for more than 1 night. I will miss this place, but I wont be back.
NEVER rent a cabin from this rental company absolutely worst service Ive ever had. They completely lied about the cabin and the package we paid for on the phone and didnt care when we came to check in, its a trailer park run by 2 incompetent workers. The cabins looked nothing like the picture, we bought this for New Years and ended up being the worst experience Ive ever had paying money for dont waist your time or money
Too expensive, cabin was nice, be sure to go into settings on the tv and auto scan for channels, we only had 2 channels when we got there. Office clerk was very nice and helpful ,but she didnt tell us that.
The cabin we rented was awesome so, 4 stars,getting it rented 0 stars, we had to confirm 3 times,staff was not so friendly and sometimes plain rude.They couldnt even find us at check out.Not forsure I will stay there again,but I do recommend the cabins.Maybe the staff was having a bad day
Great security teams keeping an eye out on our home away from home. Been there about 18 months and never had issues with non members or outsiders messing with anything. Big pigs on occasion as well as the deer!
Best cabins on the lake. Lots of different wildlife to see. Borders with Hagerman wildlife refuge. Fishing not bad. Employees are courteous and helpful.
Gate closes so early u dont get a chance to get off work and launch ur boat. I definitely wont ever go here. Was just going to cause everyone suggested on Facebook book texoma group. Cant wait to go back and let them know how this place is
Great time and clean cabins. Rented a pontoon boat and had a blast in the lake. Even found our own private island.
Texas Best Kept Secret, its a beautiful get away for fishing and outdoor activities, Ill be back.....
Its a perfect getaway.with everything u need.just bring clothes and dvds fishing stuff and food...p.s. if u need bait get before u get there,closest bait shop 20 min away.love this place.second time going.
Just leashed a boat slip their the people and staff are awesome and so polite and the fishing has been great.
We only rode by on our boat while on the lake. It is a very beautiful marina and the dockiminums are very cool.
Flowing Wells is a great place for a cabin weekend! You can even buy one in harbor village!

2022-04-25We had such a great time here, my boys (age 3 and 5) never wanted to leave! We made friends with the cows in the “back yard,” paddled boats in the little pond, went hiking, found “fossils” in the woods (I have no idea what small dead animal bones they found, but they brought it home - pray for me!!) and enjoyed all the amenities indoors; many kitchen utensils, an egg bake for breakfast (wow!!), and all the fixings for s’mores, making a fire, and grilling up food. It was so relaxing and fun! These folks thought of everything you could need to enjoy your time away from the big city!

2022-03-21We had a wonderful time. The weather was bad the first day and a half but we just enjoyed it anyway.The people we met Kimmie from the resort was so informative. We had so many things to go to, Bay at the Lake and entertainment was great. Going back for sure.

2021-11-10If you need your boat winterized or serviced. Chad and Emily will take great care of you. You get what you pay for when it comes to having your boat repaired or serviced. Chads one of the best technicians in this part of the country. I appreciate all you guys help!! Thanks again!

2021-04-094.5 Stars is not an option, but thats what I would give if I could. The 1/2 star loss would be due to something that is fully my responsibility/fault. Flowing Wells was the only one to have an open slip which was oversized for my boat and I had plans to sell the boat. The whole time discussing the slip with them we talked monthly costs...etc. However, in the contract - you sign a year lease. I should have read it better, but it would also be good customer service to discuss that. However, they did put my slip up to be leased, leased it and released me from my contract. -----I opted to do 5 stars since I really had no other issues with them that are worth discussing. Hit a problem, they fixed it, generally friendly but more importantly they have always been responsive to issues. So 5 stars as opposed to 4 due them doing a good job and it was technically my responsibility to read the contract better. (Just was excited to go fishing. :))

2020-12-19Nice place overlooking the water. Our group rented two cabins next to each other - one bed/bath cottage, and two bedroom with loft. Both were quite nice. The larger one with loft had lots of space for 6 people. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi bath. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes and such. The deck overlooking the lake had great sunsets/sunrises. The one on the larger cabin has a roof. The deck on the smaller one did not. If you have a boat that can beach on shallow water or a waverunner, you could easily beach it in view of the deck. They have free WIFI, but dont expect video streaming speeds - its 4 Mbps up & 1 Mbps down. The water from the faucets tasted funny to us so bring your own drinking water. Theres a grocery store not too far away. We would definitely stay here again.

2020-05-15Long mid-week through weekend stay. To top it off, the first two days have massive wind storms roll through and disrupted our plans. Flowing Wells cannot change the weather but they provided a great cabin that withstood the storms, wonderful amenities within the cabin and surrounding area. A trip with three kids (11, 16 & 17) is challenging but when plans get changed having other things to accommodate makes it much easier. Comfortable beds to sleep in, plenty of room for 5 people to stay and 7 to hangout in during the day. Met with several staff members (Bob, Jeff and a few others), wonderful people. Courteous and professional individuals. Even while cleaning the facilities from debris after the storm, they took the time to stop work and visit. Lake Texoma is a beautiful lake and deserves a visit; Flowing Wells is a great place to consider using during such a visit. Thank you to the FW staff!

2019-12-23Excellent option for boating/fishing types who do not need a lot of amenities. Flowing Wells is locally owned and operated, so the owners are directly involved in the day-to-day operations, and patrons are actually treated like customers. Awesome staff!

2018-05-01Let me start off saying we have stayed at over a half dozen marinas and camping and cabins around texoma over the last 20 years. They are all very nice and we always have a great time at all of them. This location is special in its own ways. It is much more private and has a lot of room to move. Security is great ,but they really dont seem to need it. Or they just do such a great job as we never had any issues with leaving stuff out in our boat or on our deck or in the bed of the pick up. The staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. Just about everyone else was great to speak with around the marina with other customers. The cabins are very nice and they work hard on the upkeep and maintenance of the place. They are super accommodating and easy going. The views are tremendous (see the pictures) Launching or retrieving your boat is in a protective cove so even on windy days it is not a chore. The ramp is shallow so be prepared to set you tow vehicle in deep (up 1/2 over the back wheels of my 3/4 ton truck). All in all one of the best weekend getaways in a long time.If I could make recommendations or a wish list (not a complaint) 1. A dock or slip to park the boat while we put the truck and trailer away as the shore is also shallow and hard to beach without running the prop in the sand. 2. Make the ramp a bit steeper? 3. On sunset shores see if the core will add plastic and rocks to control the hillside beach erosion and put a staircase down to the water. Next trip will be back at this location , Just a great weekend all the way around.

2020-06-03We found Flowing Wells by chance. The cabin, in a double gated community, was right on the lake. Very nice views from the porch. The accomodations were nice. We will return a few times a year to destress in a secluded little get away.

2019-03-30If you ever want a fun place to stay in Texas you should DEFINITELY stay at the Flowing Wells Resort!!! It’s very fun and relaxing, and the owners and staff are BEYOND AMAZING!!!! There is Lots of great activities to enjoy! Great place to hang out with family and friends!
