Had a very enjoyable stay at HHH. The hosts did an amazing job at making sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable.
Great small campsite! Staff is super friendly and helpful. They are quintessentially Texan in every sense of the word. They recently opened up to nonhorse owning folks with tiny little campsites both with and without electricity. The site is close enough to civilization that you still can access all Bastrop has to offer. Highly recommended.
Best place ever! The hosts are amazing! Love the bunk house and our horses are super happy here. 100% recommended
Cool bungalow with a camp kitchen and outdoor shower. McKinney Roughs is just down the road with some beautiful trails to explore, but they dont have campsites.
Clean, plenty of parking, a dozen horse pens, 2 cabins, exceptional outhouses, outdoor showers, a/c, clean trails to the Colorado River to hike, swim, and ride horses. Camping with convenience.

Great spot to get away. We ended having to leave and the owners were very nice to give deposit back to give a rain check.

Broke down right next to Happy Horse, we booked two nights last minute here and what a lovely surprise! A little corner of paradise in the middle of nature with warm and adorable hosts. It refreshed us a lot, we felt at home and we were able to leave in good conditions two days later. Very good time spent at Beaux et Hollis (and Butch!), I recommend!

2021-11-24This place is amazing! The hosts -Beaux and Hollis- are so welcoming and easy to talk to. The land and trails are wonderful for people and critters of all ages. We had such a wonderful time and definitely want to come back. Whatever you do, DEFINITELY don’t miss the private ukulele concert by Hollis. I only wish we had planned to stay longer.

2022-04-06Such an incredibly great place to camp outside of Austin. Hosts have become friends and the property is stunning. Plenty of privacy if that’s what you want, plenty of room to meet friends and experience the outdoors if you’d prefer that. One of the last few camp spots that isn’t commercial and feels communal. Love it!

2022-06-23Loved staying here! Family memories! The tiny house we rented had an outdoor shower, no sink inside but there was a waterhose and bucket by front porch for dishes. There was an outhouse that was very well kept.

2019-07-06Host were great!!! Place is very well kept and was pleasant experience. Better than expected and will definately return. Nice quiet atmosphere and Beaux was very helpful and pointed out the go to places nearby. If you get a chance you should try this place. They have cabins, spots for RVs as well as campsites that are situated to be private. Definately recommend!! It is close to everything yet in a country setting. Very refreshing.

2020-05-25Hollis and Beaux are awesome hosts! They were there to greet us and tell us about their land and trails. The campground was well kept and clean. We definitely glamped having an RV and it was so much fun! The weather turned out great, too, because we got some showers and the temperature cooled down quite a bit. I highly recommend this place!

2020-06-01Where to start. If you are looking for a simple getaway from the city to go camping, this is a great start. The Camp was not hard to find and the owners will greet you at the gate. They give a wonderful tour and are very glad to help with a myriad of needs. The camps have: fire pit, charcoal grill, picnic tables, and a trash can. Very level ground for both tint campers And RV’s. Water and electric at some sites. The Outhouses were clean and convenient. Shower building was nice to have available too. The very friendly hosts provided fire wood of all sizes and it was dry, what a plus. There is a gazebo for parties and plenty of walking paths. If you have horses, bring them with you; the property has stalls for them too. Can’t say enough about this little gem. I will definitely return. Happy Camping Y’all.

2019-02-01Some of the nicest folks Ive ever met, I had a great visit with my horse and dog to relax one weekend, its been a while and I hope theyre still in business, I intend to return in the near future. It is a great place to relax in the country with your horse, hear some music and get some peace and quiet with great folks.
