Rented a pontoon boat for a family outing. Had such a great time! The staff at the fuel dock were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and gave us all necessary instructions on how to safely operate the boat. The lake was perfect and the weather was beautiful. They had a nice new boat for us to use that was clean and comfortable. Would definitely use them again.
We so enjoyed our time at Highport! We rented a pontoon boat for 8 hours on a Friday. The marina was clean and very well kept. The check in process was super quick and easy (it was a slow time for the lake but still impressed!). I did get a little worried because I never received a confirmation email that our reservation was secured but it all ended up just fine. About 6 hours into our trip, on our way back in for the day, our engine went out. We ended up having to call the marina and they came out within 25 minutes. They brought a mechanic to see if it could be fixed so we could enjoy the rest of our time. We did need to be towed but Dillon the mechanic and Michael were so nice and helpful! They refunded us a portion for the trouble which was very nice. We would definitely go back and despite the engine trouble, highly recommend.
We recently got back into boating, and needed a large covered slip. It’s been really nice to have the guidance we’ve received from the leasing office. Samantha and Di are really helpful and fun.Gabe has also been great. We don’t always know all the options available, so by offering knowledge and expertise, we avoided some certain pitfalls. He and his staff (Kenny) are friendly, open and trustworthy, if a bit slow to get service done.Lastly, the staff, food and atmosphere at Mo’s are perfect for a Marina. We Love this place.
Very nice marina. Lots of amenities. Nice wide boat launch with 3 slots. People are in an out pretty quickly so be ready to go when you launch and dont waste any time. Straps off, plugs in, ropes ready, launch and go. People are friendly and if your having trouble they will help to get you out of the way.
I have called the General Manager, Christy Bliss, MULTIPLE times over the last month and she will not return our calls! My car was hit in the parking lot and I was told to call her to get camera footage. I have left her about 4 voicemails over the last month with no call back. If she can’t help me it would be nice to know at least!!
My wife and I have been boating on Lake Texoma for 3 years now and kept our boat at another Marina. Due to low water we were forced to move another Marina and we chose Highport. We moved to Highport back in May 2014. Previous to moving to Highport, we had many evening cruises over to Highport to eat and watch the bands play. Since moving to HIghport we have met new people and have made many new friends. We spend nearly every weekend at the lake and are never disappointed with the service, atmosphere and just spending time with our neighbors. The staff and service at Highport has been exceptional as far as I am concerned. The new service department manager Paul Russell has been a man of his word and does exactly what he says he will do. Karla is our waitress of choice, she does an exceptional job as well. Making the move has proven to be much more than we had anticipated. Job well done. Dont want to forget the leasing staff. Those guys are fantastic. They take care of anything you need in a timely fashion.
We came to the lake for a family get-a-way that was close to home. We stayed at Tanglewood Resort and were looking for a close place to eat that was not on site. The Highport Island Bar and Grill was clean and the food was good, but the atmosphere was not very good for families with young children. Will not plan on returning until kids are older. Just putting it out there for families with young children if you were thinking about dining here.
Visited the Island Bar and Grill. The atmosphere was great but our food order took almost 3 hours to arrive, this after speaking to the manager: it was finally delivered but my order was wrong. We were not charged and I do hope that the poor service was due to the high attendance but still very disappointing.
If you want a relaxing weekend at the lake this is NOT the place. If you want loud drunk neighbors blasting their choice of music then come up. The marina management and security are a joke and only want to get your money and have no policies about noise. Your drunk neighbors can blast music all night and no quiet hours are available if you desire to sleep.
The executives at highport Marina made a false promise to a disabled combat veteran. They promised to build a dock to accommodate for the handicap. They also promised they were going to have people assist in helping me launch and recover my boat. Something I cant enjoy that often because of my injuries I sustained in combat. When I showed up with the boat they completely denied assisting me. Ive tried to reach out to the owner and the executives and they refused to call me back. Just a bunch of sorry excuse for Americans.
My husband and I bought our boat at a different marina two years ago and decided to move it to Highport because of the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the facilities. Since that time, weve made a lot of friends and really enjoyed our weekends at the boat. The Island is a great place to eat, there is a new chef and manager this season and the menu has definitely improved. I would definitey recommend Highport to anyone who is looking for a home away from home atmosphere at Texoma.
I have a slip in the marina and have always loved the restaurant, Tiki bar, bands and other events that added to our lake experience. Currently I have truly appreciated the Highport administration and staff for thinking outside the box to find ways to accommodate its slip customers during this unfortunate flood. Providing the weekly updates, the High Water Cafe, the water taxis, the ice delivery boat and other services has made it possible for us to continue enjoying our boat. Thank you.
Sheila Leasure (Fuel Dock Manager) is the most outgoing and friendliest person youll ever meet. Highport Marina is fortunate to have her on their staff. She went above and beyond her regular duties to help me this past weekend. I do not usually write reviews, but this time I could not let this go without recognition. Kudos to Sheila
As founder of Save Texoma Beaches, I must say that we truly love Highport Marina. Not only do they care about their customers, but they also care about the lake. During the drought of 2014, while Highport could not do anything about the low water conditions, they did do a massive clean up of the exposed areas surrounding the marina. It takes heart to put forth the effort to keep Texoma beautiful, and the job that Highport did was amazing. They also keep an eye on the docks and made sure the boat ramp was open all year. Im proud to say that we launch at Highport year round and will continue to do so in our efforts to keep Texoma beautiful and safe. --- Thank you Highport Marina for being awesome and caring about your community.
Would like to share our recent experience on July 4th. We called and made a reservation the second week in June for a four hour boat rental to begin at 1pm on the 4th. We called the marina on 7/3 around 3pm to confirm our reservation and we were told the boat would be ready when we arrived on the 4th.This day was to be a very special occasion, as our daughter from Germany and her fiancee would be in town for a few days and wanted to see Lake Texoma. As our group of eight arrived in the marina parking lot at 12:10 pm on the 4th, we received a phone call from a young lady at the marina who said I hate to tell you this but we do not have a boat for you. We asked what the problem was, as our reservation was made weeks ago and even confirmed the day before. She told us that one of their boats had broken down the day before, therefore there would be no boat for us. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was none available, which is hard to believe on the July 4th holiday. I asked her what time the boat had broken down on the 3rd and was told 1pm. I told her I didnt understand why our reservation had been confirmed the day before and found it ridiculous that we were being called 40 minutes prior to our reservation time. Her response was simply Im sorry. I asked her if she had or would contact other marinas for us to get another rental and was told I would have to call myself. She did say that she might be able to work something out for us on July 5th. Our family from Germany departed on the 5th so that wouldnt help.We were paying double the normal rates for this rental and booked this trip weeks in advance. We drove over an hour to get there only to be told Sorry, you dont have a boat. I think the lack of any attempt to seek and provide us with some sort of resolution and total lack of empathy was inexcusable. We will no longer do business with this marina and I have no doubt they could care less. I just want there to be an awareness of this situation so others who have planned such a special event will be cautious and be prepared with a Plan B if you do use this marina.
Highport Marina is by far the premier marina of all of Lake Texoma. When I researched where to bring my boat and call home when moving and shipping my boat from California, Highport stood out. From the great facilities, fantastic views from the deck of the Island Bar and Grill to easy access to the beaches, its perfect for our entire family. Weve called Highport home for nearly 2 years now and cant imagine ever moving our boat.

2022-05-08Rented a boat for the day at Highpoint and really enjoyed it. Good people, snacks/drinks, what looked like a brand new marina, and great service. Can’t wait to come back!

2022-06-29Rented a pontoon for a few hours. Wonderful experience! The boat worked great and had plenty of room. The staff was exceptional—friendly, kind, and helpful. The facilities were impeccable. One of the cleanest rest rooms I’ve ever seen in a marina!

2021-05-16Our boat rental experience here was an 11/10. The pontoon boat we rented was in pristine condition, super comfortable and we had the best time. It has more than enough shade, Bluetooth speakers, and tons of dry storage for your things. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. We were able to extend our rental for an hour while out on the lake because no one had it reserved after us. We will 100% be returning. Thanks so much for the awesome weekend!!

2019-10-27Beautiful clean marina. We spent the day visiting our friends. I walked around the marina and met so many lovely and friendly people and the cute pups too. Definitely a great place to dock your boat. Very well maintained. The docks were clean and safe, the grounds clean and beautiful.

2022-02-28This place has been a part of me since I was a tiny child. Because of that I will always love it no matter what but am I happy with the changes since safe harbor started over seeing things.... Absolutely NOT!

2022-01-24Had my boat here a few years, there is a HUGE difference between docks, so do your research before picking a spot to keep your boat. Service is also questionable, be prepared to wait a long time.
