In my book this is a 5 star rated RV Park right by Lake Texoma and Highport Marina. The pads are concrete and are clean and swept before your arrival. Sean comes and leads you to your site and will help you get connected. A super plus! They have a nice and very clean pool and bath house with a laundry. The grounds are very nice too. The place is spotless. The staff is very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be staying there again. Book your trip early they stay very busy. They also offer long term sites too.
We were so impressed with Lake Texoma RV Resort. The service is top notch from the time you arrive until you leave. The grounds are pristine. The RV sites are clean, level and plenty of room. You arent sitting on top of each other like other RV Resorts. Its quiet and everyone so friendly. I recommend 👌!!!!
We stayed four nights over Memorial Day weekend and had a really nice time. The park is super clean and very well maintained. The owners are nice and extremely helpful, heck, they will hook up your rig for you if you let them! You can tell pride of ownership exists at this RV resort. Sure, they have rules but arent militant about them but we didnt try to break the rules like some have. Many sites have large gorgeous trees. Concrete pads are huge and the grass is thick and nicely mowed; there is zero mud here after hard rains. Dont let the negative reviews sway you, its a great place to stay!
EXCEPTIONAL ABOVE QUALITYMy wife and I stayed at this EXCEPTIONAL park for 3 days a week ago. From the Security gates to the employees and the amazing owners, one phrase comes to mind, A Piece Of Heaven .Been Rving 25 plus years all over the United States and have never been in such an amazing park. You name its here from CONCRETE roads to CONCRETE pads. They even have a barbeque, table and chairs waiting for you. Theres a gym, beautiful pool and its close to the Marina with plenty of restaurants. You could get spoiled to the quality of service provided by the owners Paul and Lisa. Sean is exceptional and assists with any questions you may have. He also helps you set up so you can start enjoying your stay. While every park has its nuances, this one leaves a lasting impression. Folks are respectful of one another and very helpful. It has a family vibe and we will definitely be back. The Schlichtings
Very nice property, extremely well kept! One of the cleanest RV parks Ive seen. Pool was nice, and no one was using it so we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there!! Showers were really nice as well. Shawn is a HUGE asset, extremely nice and helpful to get us setup and ready to take off. Will be back for sure :)
We stayed here to test out our new Airstream for 3 days. It rained the whole time and thats when we appreciated the full concrete pads and roads. Nothing worse than a muddy mess when it rains. I would think it would be a great place for those of you who have boats since the lake is so close by.Great security gates were also appreciated. We saw many 5th wheels that we never saw anybody home during our stay. I would guess they felt this place was a great option for dropping the RV off and visiting family and/or friends in the area. The shower and laundry area is brand new and very nice. There is also a small workout room.We will definitely stay here again if the need arises.
This is a very nice resort if you like concrete and no trees. Lisa’s customer service skills need some polishing to say the least! We choose this RV Resort because it’s a 1/2 mile from the lake as we were having a family fishing trip. We returned from fishing and began cleaning our fish as we have done everywhere we have ever camped! Half way through cleaning our 6 fish, Lisa came up on the golf cart (going over 5mph), jumped off before it even came to a complete stop, running over to 5 adults waving the 6 pages of rules we had signed, telling us cleaning fish is not allowed. I feel there was a better customer service approach to this! We apologized as we honestly did not know this was a rule as we had never come across this rule in any other campground near the lake. She explained it was due to smell so we assured her we would dispose of the fish off the RV grounds, which we did. Since Lisa was there we decided to let her know of the fowl smell that was there on and off since we got there the day before. She was very offended and told us it couldn’t be their septic system as they spent $100,000 to have it put in. Lisa proceeded to tell us very loudly its our camper that stinks! She said, “your camper stinks, that camper don’t stink, that camper don’t stink, your camper stinks”! Wow, very unprofessional for owners of a resort! This is a nice resort if you don’t mind being treated like you are in kindergarten and cameras constantly watching you! This place is not for us, we will not be returning!
My husband & I are building a new home in the area. Our house sold, & we called wanting to be put on the long term wait list in June. Our name, & info on our camper was taken & we were told that something should be available early September. We called to check in every few weeks & were reassured of the early September eta.Called again beginning of August to make sure we were still looking at early September date …there was no record of the info we gave in June, & we were not on the wait list. We gave our information to them again….maybe we are on the list????
Absolutely loved this RV Campground. The best customer service we have ever recieved. They drive you to your spot and the fully hook up your RV/Trailer for you. The customer service is top notch. The dog park had plenty of room for the pups to run around. The restrooms and showers were very clean and nice. We WILL be coming back here again. Especially look forward to warm weather and jumping in their pool!!!
Paul and Lisa are wonderful hosts. Everything is very well maintained and looks great. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and super helpful. It has gated security to allow entrance in to the park via security code .The sites are clean and level. Direct TV worked well. Just a really great place in a nice area of the lake. We will be back ASAP.
We have stayed numerous times while fishing at Lake Texoma the RV Resort is just AWESOME !!! Very safe and always very clean..no bugs as in other places with dirt. The owner/operators are very helpful and always have the Welcome Mat out.....treat us like family. The pool and grounds and club house very nice with showers and laundry. Also the LARGE room with flat screen very nice to watch our favorite sporting events. We give Lake Texoma RV Resort the best rating.....Ernie and Denise TannehillTulsa, OK
We were at this park over July 4th. It was honestly one of the nicest resort parks we have been. We travel in a 45 foot RV with a tow. No problem here. Plenty of space to accommodate. Paul, the owner is a really nice guy. When we were unhooking our tow we realized the battery was dead. He jumped right in with a charge all while sitting in front of his gate entrance! The lake is really nice and this is a must to stay.
We cant say enough good stuff about this place and the owners, Lisa and Paul, and their service manager Sean. We are at Texoma almost 60+ days a year and are now RV owners. (and so you know - we have 3 young kids and a dog, and are very well traveled, so this is not our first time out:) This place is exactly what we had in mind of what it should be - clean, paved, safe, friendly, excellent amenities, quiet, and for us, close to our boat. A total A+ experience and we will be renting an RV spot long term for the summer instead of renting or investing in a lake house - a far better investment for what we need and like to do. Best of all, Paul spent over an hour with us as new RVers showing us everything we need to know! Thank you Lake Texoma RV Resort for a great weekend! Highly recommend!
Had a great one night stay this weekend. The park is nice, new, and clean. Very well kept. First time that not only were we escorted to our spot, but also assisted with hookups. All sites and roads are paved. Sites are extra large and big enough for a class A diesel pulling a vehicle. You could probably also have room for a boat. Very close to the boat launch and marina. Less than a 25 minute drive to the casino. Great spot.
Awesome Brand New RV Park! On the Road to Loos Highport. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. The owners were super nice and very accommodating. Everything was so new, from the fresh concrete pads and driveways, to the super green grass. The club house building is elegant, has granite and stone finishes. This place is super!
Upon check in you are handed 6 pages of rules. We browsed them real quickly and they seemed fairly standard. They stressed the 5 MPH extremely hard. They want to keep everyone safe, I get it. We barley made it around the first turn to our campsite before we were chased down and told we were going too fast. We were going 6. The first day we took a fishing trip. When we came back we started cleaning the whole 5 fish we caught. Apparently it’s in the rules you are cannot clean fish. We didn’t know and asked if we could finish the 5 we had. We were told absolutely not. You woulda thought we were skinning a cat by the way they were acting. We went fishing that night and ended up throwing them back because we couldn’t find anywhere to clean them. Since they like to tell you how much money they spent on this place maybe they could invest in a fish cleaning station since they are so close to the lake. The rules are over the top in my opinion. They even have a rule for dress code. The way they enforce all the rules makes you feel like you are in kindergarten. They also let it be known they are watching you on camera. The facility is nice but as a frequent camper it is not for us. Too many rules and they are too in your business. We won’t be returning.
We have had such an AMAZING and Awesome experience at Texoma RV Resort! The Cleanliness, The Pool ❤ which is Always in pristine condition ~~~ I Really Love their Pool ❣ ~ The Staff; I am unable to say enough good things, The Owners Lesa & Paul are so helpful and Always willing to lend a hand with whatever you need & Shawn; who is The Go to Guy for whatever you need help with is Absolutely Incredible!! We would recommend Texoma RV Resort and already have to many of our friends and family and all who have had the pleasure of experiencing this place have said the same. This is Definitely Our Home Away from Home at Lake Texoma for the years to come.
We had 2 RV’s and I must say this was one of the best, cleanest, nicest and most friendly RV parks/resorts we have stayed at in the 20 years we have RV’d. We really enjoyed talking with the owner Paul... lots of pride and works hard to make it look the best & help in any way.... but not too busy to chat which we enjoyed too. I’d highly recommend staying here and know that we will again... truly this was 5 Stars plus!!! 💥💥💥💥💥💥 +
Best RV park in North Texas! The roads and every site are concrete and level. The grounds are extremely well kept. It is a gated park that is very safe. The owners, Paul and Lisa, are SUPER nice and helpful. The park is located close to a marina on Lake Texoma, but far enough away so it is quiet day and night. We are full time RVers and will definitely be staying here again!
Pros: nice clean place. Cons: Not kid friendly, nor camper friendly. Restrooms and laundry close at 530 PM daily. And 3:30 Sunday. Even on Memorial Day Sunday. SO if your out late on the lake, no laundry or showers for you. Yes our RV has a shower, but with kids full of sand, RV showers are not fun. They are also beyond strict on the 5mph speed limit. Strict to an offensive level because you are driving 6mph. No we are not kindergartners dont insult me or the kids because I step on the grass. We had to cut our trip 2 days short. Cannot stay there any longer.
Had a reservation booked....till they found out I was bringing a boat to the LAKE. The lady told me I cound NOT bring a boat. Whats the point of having a park on the lake named Lake Texoma RV Resort if you cant even bring a boat? I can tell from the pictures online that the spaces are plenty big to park my travel trailer AND my boat.......what a joke. and the 5PM checkin deadline? this park has ridiculous expectations. Not everybody can make it in by 5pm. wont ever stay here...... and the lady even hung up on me also...so unprofessional.... I never leave bad reviews but this rv park really takes the cake..... if you plan on going to Lake Texoma and your taking a boat or jet ski....these people wont let you stay here.

2021-10-06We called in advance of Labor Day, and were able to secure a lovely site at Lake Texoma RV Resort! This resort, is clean, and has great amenities! As a family who has seen their fair share of RV resorts, this one is exemplary! There are rules, but only in place to keep this resort so exceptional! The rules are simple... dont park in the grass, drive slowly, etc.The showers are in large, nicely finished, air conditioned units, protected by a key pad. They gym is simple, but clean. The pool is nice, and the people we met were great!Upon check in, they will help with hook up, and the service is great! Theres grills at each spot, and picnic tables, all which are very nice.We really enjoyed our stay! My husband said this has been his favorite family vacation to date!A very special thanks to Ms Leesa, and Shawn, who helped make our trip a memorable, incredibly enjoyable trip for our entire family! We cant wait to come back and do it again!

2022-05-25I’ve been staying in RV parks for ten years now. This is the best RV park I have ever been to. By far the cleanest, quietest, most organized and decent prices as well. Hated to leave and will go out of my way to come again if ever in the area. Highly recommend!!!!

2022-05-10Well first I gave it a 1 star out of 5 stars but it didn’t have negative numbers!!! Shawn is the only pleasant thing about the park !!! Lisa is the most hateful and unprofessional person I have ever encountered!!! Paul her husband is about the same but lucky he doesn’t hang around much !! I don’t really know how they have any campers due to her attitude!!! The lady needs either meds or therapy …. maybe angry management classes would help? A person who spends their hard earned money should not have to put up with the abuse. I stayed about 4 months and every day when I turned on Highport Rd I would get sick at my stomach thinking of how the treatment and abuse was going to be about!!!! Towards the end of my stay she would send my mail and packages back to the sender and continuing to send my mail back to sender if it accidentally gets send to her resort !!! Beware of this so called resort …but really is a boot camp in disguise!!! Never Never again!!

2022-05-14Big place, with lots of facilities/amenities, and an easy walk to the lake for fishing. Wifi is limited to the clubhouse/office, and pretty slow even there, but otherwise I really liked it, even extended my stay.

2021-11-21Very pretty place! Were here for 6 weeks, till the end of 2021. Wonderful concrete pads, well manicured grounds, quiet surroundings, grill, patio chairs, and picnic table provided. Daily trash pickup, as in they drive by picking it up from you! They concierge pull you in and out of the facility, not only for their safety, but yours too! No one needs issues. While there arent trees surrounding you, its really a nice gated community.

2021-06-20We just stayed 2 nights this weekend and I will say this is the cleanest RV park we’ve ever stayed in, however that being said I have never felt so unwelcome by being watched and told not to do things like be on the grass. Every space had a keep off grass sign. We couldn’t really enjoy it there. They constantly cruise the park watching for violators.Plus I would hardly call it a resort. No loungers by the pool, only a few of the cheapest plastic tables & chairs. There was not a restroom by the pool or a trash receptacle. Had to go across the park to the public restroom (monitored by cameras inside the building) or maybe they just prefer you use your own. Typically laundry rooms are open 24 hrs but they lock up here at 5:00. We won’t be going back..

2021-10-17This park is like new, all concrete roads and pads with manicured grass at each site. The only access is via secured gate with passcode. The staff is helpful and friendly. Be advised they run a tight ship here so no junk around your RV, no outdoor clothes lines, etc. Very nice park!

2021-10-31We have family nearby and booked here for 30 days. this RV park gets a lot of five star ratings alone on the facilities and other amenities, I believe is well deserved and now I know why. 3 hour window to check in; 1-4 PM. So..... instead of just handing us the rules and park map and moving on to our site like most parks or campgrounds, she handed us more papers marked RULES and stated she had to go over them; at the bottom of the page it states page 1 of 8. it was pages with many single spaced lines with threatening punctuation ; capital letters, underlining and yellow highlighter on all points. For the next THIRTY to FORTY minutes we were painstakingly read and discussed at great length eight pages entitled Rules and Regulations Exhibit B and told the consequences for breaking them. We felt like children on the first day of school. (and by the way after reading the rules I believe not a child friendly park, no riding bicycles, scooters, skates etc..). Page 5 states children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, (underlined). ie..dress codes, engaging in gossip, picking up after ourselves, etc... Do all guests get this orientation? is this a new thing here? Very puzzled, this park has such great previous ratings and no mention of this crazy check in experience. They only take checks for long term. We agreed to pay an extra $30.00 in CC bank fees. Before entering the main gate you have to unhook your toad and or dolly from your motorhome. I was informed my car dolly is not allowed in the park, Note: Our pull through site is at least sixty-five feet long. No dollies, no cargo trailers, no golf cart trailers, no boats, no jet skis can be stored in the park, even at your OWN site, as per page 4 of the rules. We took our dolly next door to store on property they own. No security fence or gate just several feet from a public road. I used a ball lock and wire rope to chain it down to the tongue of a very old mobile home permanently parked so it would not be stolen. (almost everywhere there is grass, a Keep Off The Grass sign is posted. This park has surveillance cameras EVERYWHERE, in my opinion not so much for security but rather to catch rule infractions because the park is located in a nice part of town. You can depart ONLY from a front or rear locked exit gate that is opened by staff and ONLY when your ready to depart. Texas theft of services and trespassing laws are quoted a couple of times in the rules and threatens prosecution. You have to pay before you stay just like every other park or hotel. (you could not leave here even if you wanted to, only a small narrow automobile gate to exit/enter the park with a gate code). So on our morning of our SCHEDULED departure at aprox 10:00 AM we could not leave the park. We hunted down Shawn so we could leave, he stated he did not know or told we were leaving. He then escorted us to the front gate and we sat there for 15 minutes waiting while he fumbled with the gate. He stated Ill be right back. He jumped into his truck and drove outside the park and down the street to get the clicker device for the front gate (the owners live off site). So now we are OUT and close to the street. Shawn then helped me fetch my car dolly next door which was now sitting in 3 inches of mud (we had heavy rains 2 weeks before). Only now was I allowed to hook up my dolly and car. Restroom, gym and showers very short hours. Laundry is just as restrictive For any pet owners; no portable fences or kennels outside as stated. My general feel about this park is that I have never felt so unwelcomed and restricted in an RV park or campground in all of our years of RVing. All of this was just way....way... over the top for an RV Park, its not a Nuclear Facility!.... We noticed that some rules dont apply to some long term guests. Its their park, their house, their rules, I get it. I have no doubt with the thousands of new RVers she will keep her 47 sites full. So.... Just a heads up. I apologize for the lengthy review.

2020-08-17Very nice RV resort. The grounds were well groomed and location very close to lake and marina. Front desk personnel was very sweet and wanted to ensure our stay was enjoyed. Beautiful park, very clean. Pool was out of service during our 7 day stay, but I dont blame the resort it was out of their control. If you are looking for a very reasonable RV resort to stay near Lake Texoma this is the place.
