My husband and I stayed in the Bluebird Room for a weekend and we loved it! The room was gorgeous, the house is very well maintained and you can tell how much the owners care for the property. It’s super conveniently located to everything on Main Street so we walked almost everywhere which was great. The bar right next door played pretty loud music on Friday night so we had some trouble getting to sleep, but that was the only night it was a problem and turning on the fan helped drown out the sound.

Really liked this place! Husband and I stayed Mon- Thursday end of April. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and jacuzzi tub was great. The backyard patio fireplace was amazing for sitting outside at night and listening to the music drifting across the yards while sipping a beverage. We played cards on the front porch one rainy day, was a great place. The location of this place is within walking distance to everything,..restaurants, shops, museums... So why 4*? This is an old house. Even tho it is restored and decorated beautifully, the walls are tissue paper thin. So expect noise from other guests. Inside the home you can hear people walking and talking on the upper floors. Music from across the street plays til 11pm thurs-sat. You will hear it. People enjoying themselves on back patio, you will hear them. We would stay here again if they upped the cleaning service. Everything looked really clean at first glance, but after a day we noticed if we walked around the house barefoot, our feet were getting dirty (floor needs to be mopped and cleaned) also windows were so dirty you could hardly see out of them! This could be an amazing 5* great bang for your buck if the cleaning service did a better job. The owners are on site and very friendly and helpful. The home was turned over to a property management company, that in my opinion needs to up their game.

We stayed at the blue room. My husband and I are staying for two nights. We love this. It was our treat since we love this town and we always stay in lower end places to save money. This is worth every penny!! Its super clean!!! The bathroom has tiles in the shower, all white grout!!!!!!The water pressure isnt the best but overall, not even a problem. The bathtub is a Jacuzzi type so its not the easiest to get in or out bc its tall.However, this home is beautiful! The management does a great job and so do the cleaning ladies. We love everything!!! Highly recommend! And we will be back. We have enjoyed visiting even more bc we can walk to places without having to move our vehicle.

I absolutely love the Lincoln blue room. The wood floors and ceiling are amazing. The decor is nice and the whirlpool was fun. There is two bars nearby so if they have live music be prepared for it. The tv wasnt loud enough especially with live music but over all Ill return.The place was built in 1860 i think and its a historical landmark. Theres a microwave and small fridge in the room. You have to use exterior stairs to get into the room but its safe.My only problem is the American flags hanging on the exterior stairs are red, yellow, and blue. The white had faded long ago and it must be replaced with a respectable flag. Thanks

We love to stay here and would love to be able to do it more often than once a year. Its an amazing place and so close to everything, you wont really need your car for a day of wandering around or shopping. After you stay here, youll wonder how you could stay anywhere else in Fredericksburg...

Beautiful house with old country feel and classy, art-deco decor. Amazingly comfy, fantastic jacuzzi bath and amazing outdoor fireplace. This place is a MUST visit.

This place is awesome! The decor here is one of a kind and the owner is a great and helpful person! The presidential is the best place here in Fredericksburg. Thanks for being awesome!
