Great location, pricing is decent, and apartment layout is lovely. High ceilings and plenty of storage. Relatively quiet and a lovely wooded view. Maintenance is prompt most times. Office willing to work with you regarding issues.The reason for two stars is that my car window was smashed and was broken into. I was not the only one, several folks were hit in the same night/week. When I called to inform the office, I was just told to call the “courtesy officer”, who said he would start patrolling the area. Not sure I feel safe in the complex anymore. It would be fairly simple to hire a security officer for our complex only or install security cameras. The apartment complex is not liable for car damage, therefore they don’t invest. Pretty disappointing for all its positives.
Great location. Mediocre units. Not pet friendly.We paid $700 in non refundable pet deposits as well as additional pet rent and were still charged extra cleaning fees when we moved out due to dog hair. The dog park is simply dirt and the dogs need a bath every time they play there. Appliances are old and we had numerous problems with the stove. Our neighbor complained about our dogs regularly and tried to enforce us not allowing them in our living room so she wouldnt be bothered when they bark. She also complained about our tv being too loud numerous times even when at a low volume. We decided to move out and maintenance entered our apartment on multiple occasions without notice or permission even though we still had 3 weeks on our lease and had personal property inside. They said they needed to do a pre move out inspection which I have never heard of in my 10 years of apartment living. Overall we were very dissatisfied with our experience at Post Park Mesa.
Have lived here almost a decade, so that alone speaks for itself; but I especially want to give our thanks and appreciation to one of Post Park Mesas maintenance employees, Benny. Our A/C unit started faltering late Friday afternoon and it was uncomfortably hot indoors. Benny arrived, assessed the problem and found the root cause. An expensive replacement part was needed, which wouldnt arrive until Monday. Benny went ahead and improvised; he disabled the washer and drier and reconnected the A/C, giving us sufficient cooling for the weekend. Throughout the process, he kept us fully informed. True to his commitment, today, Monday, the replacement is being performed.
Ive had the privilege of living here for 5 years. Nicest apartment Ive ever lived in. Great location for me. Shaded, clean, quiet, and well managed by very friendly, helpful people. Apartment complex perfection.
Awesome place to live, great location and the staff is super professional.The only down side is that common areas need more attention (specifically with pet poop) as people are no cleaning up after their pets, and I was told there is little the staff can do.Cameras will be a great idea!!

My experience was absolutely stellar, the process was a dream , the staff is top notch, from Shanna, Edyta, Mark and Bennie. The property is lovely and is now home for me, the best place in Austin!
Great location! Located in the Northwest Hills area on the West side of Mopac, it is close to restaurants on Burnet and grocery/shopping on Far West Blvd.
Amazing place to live. Prompt maintenance, quiet, excellent amenities and a top notch management team.

2021-07-13The Post Park Mesa team has the best office staff Ive ever experienced in my long rental history. Theyre quick to respond, reasonable and the maintenance requests are always filled quickly. I highly recommend it! My only issue is that our rent after one year was raised $500 per month for a 2 bedroom. I understand the Austin market is challenging, but this was too much for me. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and Ive never had a parking issue.

2022-05-08A five star property at 4 star prices. Quiet, spacious, reasonably well maintained and management that respond to requests and complaints, if any, promptly. Shanna, the property manager, is incredible and is an asset to this organisation.

2020-10-22Ive lived at Post Park Mesa for 4 years now. I love it here. Its the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. The air smells fresh because of all the trees. My apartment is more like a condo. Its very well insulated and quiet and solid. The AC and heat work great. Any problems Ive had (not many) have been taken care of immediately, and the grounds are clean and beautiful. This year the management replaced my carpets with flooring that looks very nice and feels fresh and new. Id recommend this complex to anyone and feel blessed to live here.

2021-09-19Beautiful property in a great location. The units are spacious and solidly built with tons of storage. Management is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to requests. Maintenance team is fantastic. My rent increased 20% in 2 years, but unfortunately thats typical of this town. I recommend PPM to anyone looking for a quiet place to live.

2021-10-22Needing to downsize from a 3 bedroom home to a smaller townhome was a very intimidating process for a number of reasons. Thankfully, we stumbled upon the Post Park Mesa property at just the right time and were fortunate enough to secure a two bedroom with garage. It is situated on the hilltop and affords is views that are absolutely fantastic, comparable to the homes along the Mesa Dr ridge line.When we moved in, our place was clean and well appointed. The property staff was even kind enough to leave us a thoughtful welcome basket of much appreciated move-in-day items for both us, and our spoiled cat!As reflected above, the staff is fantastic. From our initial visit to now, they have always been friendly, responsive, and just a pleasure to interact with.The bottom line is that this property has the beauty of the west Austin hills, an incredible staff, and a very friendly community. Having grown up about 2 blocks from here, I can attest to the fact that this property represents the best of both old and new Austin and is definitely worth a look!

2021-12-22What a great place to live! The townhouse is lovely with gorgeous views, the location is great, and the staff is terrific. Shanna, the manager, has created a warm, friendly community. Mark and Benny, the caretakers, are prompt, friendly, and very, very responsive. I may never leave.

2020-04-07We have lived at Post Park Mesa apartments for two years and have had an excellent experience here. Briefly, some of the high points we would share are that it is an excellent location; on Mesa Drive between 2222 and Dry Creek; landscaping is beautiful; it is very, very quiet and peaceful here; the floor plans are really attractive; we have upstairs and downstairs outside covered patios with beautiful views; and the staff are very professional and personable. Its a great place to live!

2021-01-29Love it here! The office staff & maintenance staff are all friendly, professional & extremely helpful! They’ve done a really great job dealing w Covid; keeping the residents safe & updated. Keeping us connected virtually & enforcing masks in the office area & installing hand sanitizer stations. I’m renewing my lease for another year; my dog & I are very happy to call Post Park Mesa our home!
