This is a really nice small rv park. Super clean bathrooms, 3 little dog parks. Plenty of room for a 42ft fifth wheel and parking 2 vehicles. My only issue is the rule no one under 18 can be unsupervised when outside the camper. This even means walking to the restroom.
We were in Lubbock, TX to visit our son, his girlfriend and our latest granddaughter (3 yrs) who we hadnβt met yet. They suggested this park but didnβt know a lot about it. What a great choice is was. It is a small park right off of the highway. Owner and office staff are friendly and nice, the rates are very reasonable for full hook up including cable TV and internet. Very well maintained grounds, the pads are gravel with a good separation between lots. There is a dog run and pool and spotlessly clean bathrooms and showers as well as a laundry room. (No laundry supplies are available for purchase so must bring your own along with quarters and $1 bills for the machines. The only thing that would be an improvement would be a little country store with cold drinks, munchies, and other supplies.I would highly recommend this park to anyone needing to stay in the Lubbock area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is great and provides easy access to Lubbock and the surrounding areas. Staff was friendly and the park was well laid out and clean. Not much green, but this is the high plains. Speaking of which, it can get windy so mind your awning and outside furniture while there. -Would definitely stay here again!
Very close to the highway but very nice. The pool was very small and we did not go in. 2 dog parks for the puppies. The lady working the desk was very nice. Clise enough to Lubbock that you are not spending too much time driving, only like 25 minutes from the airport.
My husband and I have stayed at Mesa Verde RV Park on a few occasions and found it to be friendly, clean, and accessible to Lubbock points of interest. The owners are extremely helpful and have been very accommodating. We are returning this year for our one-month stay between November and December, and are bringing relatives (who are new RV owners) with us.The pool is immaculate, as is the laundry room. You will definitely enjoy your stay here.
Nice, clean, and quiet RV park. Great location! They are strict on thier rules, but it shows in the quality of the park and the enjoyment of your stay! Reasonable rates for overnight and long-term stays (Ive done both). Make reservations because they do fill up! Weve been happy staying there and will continue to stay at Mesa Verde RV Park!
If you are traveling alone or do not have kids, its great. However, we stayed as a family with our 3 kids and 2 dogs. It was not very family friendly. We were not allowed to have our children help take the dogs out or let them play while we cooked or cleaned in the camper. We couldnt even have them help take out the trash due to the strict policy of parents needing to be with kids at all times. It was just a bit overkill for us as we are used to camping and allowing our children appropriate boundaries and responsibilities.
Not family or group friendly at all. Went to try to get a spot for a couple nights since Lubbock is the halfway being point for some family and was told we couldnt stay because they do not allow groups of more than 6 at all. We also enquired about renting one of the longer spots and was told it didnt matter if we had a car in tow and we would be stuck with a small back in spot. The woman we spoke to was very rude from the onset and it only got worse once we mentioned having a group and having children as well. Its unfortunate because we would have been happy to stay there but instead we ended up getting a spot a few miles away on Loop 289 that was extremely accommodating and courteous. Hopefully this place will learn that travelers and campers are their bread and butter and that they come in all sizes and types. Will be reporting this to Good Sam for sure...
For TX very nice RV Park within a city. Large sites, asphalt drive, gravel sites, no trees, laundry. We were in the new addition back away from the road. Quiet neighbors. Only negative is the water is below ground and getting to it requires getting on hands and knees. Our go to place when visiting friends in Lubbock.
Quiet park. Great place to stay if you want to visit Lubbock. Staff were helpful. Brochures were provided which were very helpful. The city was very interesting. We visited the Buddy Holly Center , the Bayer Agricultural Museum and the American Wind Power Center. If time had allowed we would have toured the Silent Wings Museum.
POOL NOT OPEN, (dont let the pictures from their Google Places listing fool you). 90 degrees outside, May 16, 2018. Even if it was open, theres campers (not on pads, just parked randomly in the grass) all the way around the pool. No shade, highway noise, dirt parking lot, and I keep having to reset the breaker as it trips often. Not worth the money.
Nice RV park. Clean and friendly staff. Big pull thrus. 41ft fiver had room to park dually easily beside it. Gravel. Sun can be brutal. Batman gives 3 πΎ paws for clean dog dooty area. No place to really walk but the park itself. Great spot to visit Buddy Holly exhibits. Fan favorite for nearby Texas tech games. Although the highway was nearby we did not hear it in the far back area.
We are originally from Lubbock and still have extensive family in the area so we come to Lubbock several times a year. Mesa Verde in our opinion is the best park in Lubbock and it is where we stay each time we come to visit. Its always well kept and managed, we have always enjoyed our stay.
Called in advance, was charged 1 week prior to getting to the park, the management constantly yelled at my wife and kids for the 3 days we were there, so we left. We had paid for a month long stay. So upon leaving we asked for a refund for what was left of the stay and was threatened with the police, not given a refund or our deposit back. 38 2019 Heartland Pioneer camper.

2021-04-05We stayed 2 nights and were happy with our choice. Very clean and modern bathrooms with fiberglass shower stalls. Full hookup electrical. Very strong WiFi. Poor cable.Walmart and Murphy gas is just 3 miles away. Best price in the area for gas.If you have a Good Sams discount and are in transit? Very good place to stay.

2021-10-21Wasnβt told that you had to have a 2011 or newer rv until I was almost there. I wouldnβt stay there now even if mine was newer. My rv is an 04 and is really nice. New decals, new paint. Itβs unfortunate that places like this only care about the vehicles year and nothing else. Excuse me for driving around in an old jalopy! (NOT!!)

2021-04-04Stayed here two months, place is kept in good condition, two laundry rooms and coin vendor is a great addition. Wifi is hit or miss and the camp manager is strict but accommodating.
