Overall decent experience. Three pillows on king sized bed in room that AC didnt work. Said was last room available when we made reservations. But clean, and comfortable bed. Refrigerator in room. Facility with laundry area & microwave. Pool area open, clean and litter free. Wouldve given more stars but AC was the main reason I didnt. Smells like smoke in the indoors hallway, but smoke free room didnt. Only staying one night, otherwise wed have looked elsewhere.
No coffee, no wash rag, no pad of soap, a/c that hardly worked...Only hand towel had a bug dried into it, hair in the bathtub... HONESTLY????Was a nightmare. Ive stayed in 6 before, they OK, nothing special, but the basics. This was below the bottom basic... and has America sold everything thing out to the middle east??????????????????????
Really could almost give 5 stars however there were some things that werent perfect but is what you would expect from a budget friendly hotel. Bang for buck best value Ive ever stayed in. Seem to be recently remodelled modern décor very clean very nice very comfortable really incredible value at the price point. I have paid more for less in the past. really very pleased with this place. plus no pet fee for our doggo !! Thanks Motel 6 !!
Received a full refund after calling their Guest Relations Dept. The person that took my complaint was stunned. She couldnt believe all the things I told her. I appreciate the Guest Relations department for their prompt response. As for the Manager on site, you should be ashamed of yourself. You didnt return my first phone call and was unavailable again when I called the second time. They boasted and posted they were a smoke free establishment. Our room smelled like an ash tray. It was midnight when we got there and I did call down to the front desk to let them know and they did offer to move us but it was so late and we were tired from driving 18 hrs and lugging our luggage upstairs we declined. We asked for a 4 am wake up call. The front desk rang us at 3. I hadn’t slept well anyways because of the smell so we just got up and left. Not worth the $80 they charged. I would have slept better in the hallway. The bathroom was not clean both visually and sanitary. The floors were sticky and the top of the night stand was sticky. There was also something sticky on the remote. The person who cleaned that room needs to be either fired or re-trained. The cleaning person should have notified the manager about the smoke and cleaned the room better. The sheets were stained. Horrible to be made to sleep on them. I actually slept in my clothes. But hey I don’t think there were bed bugs!!!!
So Im not one to complain however, today I checked into my room a dog is in room next door, then I check my linen like always and find spots of dirt on my pillow case and dirt marks on my sheets. I go to the office an maybe get another room he tells me you give me time to check these guest I can bring you sheets to change the bed.. At this point I realize Im not gonna get no work done anecdotes just checked out.
It was a inexpensive room to spend one night. There was a lot of loitering around the hotel which is concerning to me [woman]. The door was locked to the motel lobby when I arrived around 8:30 p.m. to check in. I was left standing outside in front of the bullet proof glass having to pass my ID and credit cards to the clerk in order to complete my check in. Nervous to say the least. I dont know why he would not have unlocked the door for me as a courtesy- for my safety. Parking lot was full - long walk to room. My room faced a gas station, so not only was there light to deal with, but the room was not quiet. Having the air conditioner on helped with dealing with the noise. Room was clean and everything worked as it should, except there was a hair on the toilet seat. I re cleaned the toilet as best I could. Experience was okay. I did book at the last minute and I was looking for inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.
My overall stay was decently pleasant for one night. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The location was perfect. The room, floor and bedding were clean and the AC worked great. Bathroom was clean and decorated with towels appropriately. Being this motel has no smoking, I’m only giving two stars because of the strong marijuana smell through out the hallways on both the first and second floor. Due to breathing issues i was nervous that the stay at this motel would irritate my elderly mom and I. Luckly the surrounding visitors near my room did not smoke in their room.
Front desk help was super nice and very helpful. I arrived a couple hours too early for check in but they made the effort to get a room ready for me quickly. My room was clean with clean towels and plenty of toilet paper. Would have loved a fan of some kind for air flow because the HVAC in the room just didnt give enough flow and took a little bit to warm up the room. TV had lots of channels to keep me entertained and the bed is extremely comfortable with amazing pillows.
Front desk is very polite but have to be honest to those looking for a nicely appointed room. The motel should be honest and say they are renovating. Notice how the picture shows a chair, a desk, a table? None of those. There is a bed and a nightstand. No other furniture. There is no counter top in bathroom..I had to call to ask for a trashcan. I asked for even just a folding table..nope. It appears that these things could be added later but there is no adjustment in cost of room. Pool is drained. The bed is comfortable. It is clean. AC works but obviously smokers were in the room. This might work out for a guy but, for my wife..no where to put clothes, toothbrush...very weird. Perhaps when renovations are completed, it could be a nice room.
This motel is dirty. As u come in it smells like a bar. When u open the door to the rooms it smells like mildew. No fridwget or microwave. Cleaning lady is very rude and they dont clean rooms while u r staying there. I asked to get more than one set of towels because their more than one person that is staying in the room and she said no because they only give one set. Which I think is gross. And sheets had hair on sheets as I undid the bed sheets.the only person that was great was the front desk guy. He was very accommodating and friendly.
I have never had a such a bad experience at a motel until I stayed here. First My reservation was completely changed. Price and type of room.Asked for nonsmoking but got room where someone had smoked, room had cockroach, bed didnt have any comforter (only two thin sheets to keep you warm), latch on the door was broken, sheets did seem cleaned either and there were stains on the pillows. Not all Motel 6 are bad but this one was. I would differently not recommend anyone to stay no matter how cheap it is.
I have given this location an overall rating of terrible previously. I recently stayed at this location and much to my surprise the premises was much better! No roaches! No guests hanging out in the parking lot! The rooms were updated and very pleasant. The only complaint I have is when I reserve the room I specifically request a room downstairs, and that request is NEVER honored. Now the front office needs to be trained to save a room according to the customers request. All it takes is training and planning!!
I was on business and needed a please to stay. So I got a room there, walked into my room and it was not cleaned, towels everywhere and the bed was not even made. Trash all over the floor, I left there and to date still have not got my refund. This place looks like they rent the rooms by the hour, there were people in the parking lot that really shouldnt have been, (smoking). A very unsafe feeling. Im so happy I didnt have my family with me.
The room was clean for the most part. There were cigarette burn holes in the comforter in a couple of places. There was no water pressure in the shower and the sink would not drain out. That was the livable problems. My main complaint was that the smell of marijuana was so strong in EVERY hall of the hotel. I had family that came and visited with me while staying and the smell was even noticeable to them. I will never stay in the Hotel 6 again and will not recommend it to any person.
It was an okay stay. Its to be expected as far as an 2 star hotel. There are a lot of shady characters that walk around all night. The sheets that were on the bed were dirty. The mattresses have have stains on them. The bathrooms arent that clean. They also have roaches. The only good thing I can say about this place is the cable is good.
The staff were very considerate but the motel is in dire need of work. The room reeked of smoke. By the end of my visit all my clothes had absorbed the smell. One night I couldnt get to sleep till after 1 am because of all the noise from the courtyard area. The sink didnt drain and when I would shave, the shavings were left in the sink. When I would return in the evening the sink hadnt been cleaned out.The motel was recommended by the conference I was attending. Ill let them know not to recommend the Motel 6 again until drastic improvements are made.
I enjoy it. The hotel isbin a great location. But my last time there was not a good experience. When we finally got into our room there was no towels at all. When i called for towels i was brought 2 big towels and 2 floor towels no face towels at all. I asked for them and she said that had no more and then she left. That is the only thing but i love staying there.
Drove 8 hours from New Orleans for conference in Dallas only to arrive in a room that had obviously not been thoroughly cleaned. Dont get me wrong the room appeated to have been upgraded and was very neat. Upon further inspection of the room the floor had not been swept, the sheets on one of the beds had not been changed because there were long and short stains of black hair all over and stains. There was hair on the vanity, the sink, and in the tub. Hair, trash, dust and glass all over the floor! Not feeling very comfortable staying in the room, we requested new sheets for both beds and broom to sweep the floor. We also went out and bought $23 in cleaning supplies to include a mop to bring the room to a standard that we would both be comfortable in. I knew that I wasnt coming to the Ritz Carlton but as a basic rule the least that I expected was a freshly cleaned room. We took lots of pictures of how we found the room and plan to request a discount for having to do what someone else got paid to do but didnt do.
The staff was very friendly and very professional. My check in was super easy, and my room was immaculate.I stayed in the deluxe room, huge tube and very spacious room.I definitely would recommend staying anytime. Thanks for such a great experience, cant wait to come back.
My stay here was excellent for that one night. It was only I, and they were out of single bed room. I was upgraded to Double bed at no extra cost. The front desk clerk was helpful. In me finding my room. I need a iron and they had that also. The only thing that could of been better was the parking. Couldnt get a parking spot close to room.
I reserved and stayed in a non smoking room, upon arrival, when I entered the room, there was a strong smell of stale smoke! There was also another bad odor in the room, (I suspect it was from spraying something in the room to mask the smoky odor). Also, even though we were out of the room all day, our beds were not made up, nor were the towels and wash clothes replaced.
Housekeeping needs pay reduction & training or worse because she left bed linens, pillowcases, etc. stained & uncleaned. Amenities missing (microwave, iron, hair dryer) or not working (refrigerator). Front desk attendant was a great help with last minute requests the next morning before checkout.
Stayed here and couldnt last one night! There were roaches everywhere!!! The beds were dirty, basically they changed the sheets however you could see red stains dripping down the side of the bed. Of course I asked for a room change but the overall experience was bad. The people that hung out there clearly engaged in other activities. I wouldnt recomend at all. In this case they can leave the light OFF!!
So far pretty nice. Might have been renovated lately. Large room. Comfy bed. And then there were the COCKROACHES. Will speak with front desk and see if they lie or knew about them. The tub had 2 large cracks and was so slippery we had to shower on a towel, which probable saved our feet from god knows what
The room smelled strongly of smoke. When I initially checked in, the bathroom did not have towels and I had to go to the front desk to retrieve them. There isn’t a microwave or small fridge present in the room either. Although I was not planning on swimming during my stay, the pool was a murky green, littered with debris, and the standing water gave off a foul odor. I will not be returning to this property.
Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! There were roaches everywhere in the room. My husband and I went to walk our dog and someone was standing by the stairs trying to sell us drugs! Could not go to sleep because at night people were fighting in the parking lot threatening to shoot, definitely did not feel safe. I will probably never stay at a Motel 6 again and certainly NEVER this one!
The rooms have no fridge and no microwave in them, and the whole property is smoke free, so naturally my second night I had to get out of bed and stand outside with all motel guest while we waited on the fire department to come turn the fire alarm off which was screaming throughout the buildings and our rooms. The office personnel are rude, mean, and dont give a dam about guest, I will never stay at this motel 6 location again.
Dont usually do reviews but this place is worth a few words.. been here on a few different occasions... all have been great.. rooms are very clean and spacious.. house keeping is very friendly and helpful as well has the maintenance guy.. office staff are above and beyond expectation.. never had a problem with anything on property ..all has been well .. I would definitely recommend this motel 6 to anyone... 💯💯💯😁😁👍👍
Ive stayed in some nice motel 6 rooms. However this one is the nastiest Ive ever been in! So bad Ill never stay in another one, ever! The pool was full of kids, while parents were openly smoking weed so much that the whole building smelled of it.The air conditioning doesnt work in the rooms worth a shoot. We had 3 rooms total, the drains in the tubs were full of ???? and slime!below to drain, and all around nasty cleaning job of rooms. The floors were so sticky, that our shoes would stick to them as you tried to walk!Sadest part is, this is a corporate location!!!! Most franchise owners present the cleanest! This one isnt even worth rating!
I absolutely love this motel! No disturbances, large comfortable beds, friendly staff, rooms are always very clean and stocked. When it was warm out the pool was open and cleaned everyday. Ive been here almost 6 months and i havent seen any pests.. Not one roach!! Thats a big deal for me when im staying somewhere for an extended amount of time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Admittedly, I should have taken the exact area into account. However, as most of the known hotels in my desired location were booked we ended up at this establishment. The room was dirty/smelly/unpleasant, the staff discourteous, the area had intoxicated vagrants, and the parking atrocious! We had to move all our luggage and chairs towards the door to feel safe enough to sleep. The horrific situation was not lost on our children who broke out in tears. The experience has given us a life lesson. Should the same situation arise again, we will pick a better brand of hotel and drive further. Also, canceling the visit would be preferable to ever setting foot on this property again. I will be actively warning friends and family away from this brand.Who knew that Well leave the light on was a threat/actual advice?
Customer service was good. At first I had to wait until they changed shifts for like 20 mins. Got a room that smelled like smoke and was given a different room. No attitude was given when asked for the room change. The lady was very nice and told us to let her know if the other room was better for us. The room was clean and spacious.
Stayed here for one night with my husband and our two dogs. The room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and we loved that the floors were hardwood. My only gripe is the price paid ($56 and the price went down to $39.99 after we checked in) but taking into account that other places charge $10-$15 per pet, it wound up being cheaper and within our desired budget. Good job, Motel 6!
The beds are always comfortable and bathrooms are clean but the horrible stench of cigar smoke in the room killed it. A suggestion to the upper management is to prohibit any smoking inside the rooms and to add a $$Fine$$ to the credit card charge if violated. No person likes ro smell that. It was so bad that I cut the three day stay down to one day. I. have always used Motel 6 for my stays and always will but please do something anout the smoking. Thank you.
This was one of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. It smelled of marijuana and smoke throughout the halls. My first room had roaches. A towel was wedge in the outside door so anyone could get in. It did not feel safe. When I went to get a new key no one ever asked my name or checked my ID. That was a bit unnerving to think anyone could of gotten a key to my room. It was loud, noisy, and people running up and down, yelling, smoking and whatever else they were doing. I have stayed in A LOT of motel 6 but this one was by far the worst. The tall Black lady manager was nice, and helpful, but she was not there when all of the noise was happening.
I stay at Motel 6’s all over and am always very pleased with the experience. However this time the room they gave us had the bed destroyed, a fake fingernail and a fake eyelash on the nightstand and a braid from someone’s hair on the floor. The bathroom had towels everywhere and trash all over. I have pictures if you’d like to see them. The gentleman at the front desk can’t remember his name but he was a very tall 23 yr old black man, was outstanding. He apologized profusely and immediately gave us another room. He said he was told by his cleaning crew it was cleaned and that he would speak to them. Otherwise stay was good.
The room had smoke stink the room was dirty and if I could have gotten a refund I wouldn’t had there it was disgusting the bedspread was dirty, I had never been so disgusted in my life! I will never stay at that Motel again! I took a shower with my flip flops on cause I was so disgusted at how dirty everything was. Never again I’d rather pay more to stay in a clean room! Somebody smoked in that room for awhile it stunk to high heavens!
The staff was nice, but the facility was not very clean. Hallways smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. My mother found a used condom stuck to the headboard in her room. On the surfaces you could see remnants of what the previous guest had eaten and drank. If it had not been so late we would have gone somewhere else.
ROACHES! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!IF YOU VALE YOUR BELONGINGS, DONT STAY HERE!! I stayed here one night in room 213. I walked into my room and you could see the roaches scatter when you turned the lights on. Within minutes I saw dead roaches littering the floor. If you moved the dresser they where dead in piles behind it. I was slipping in the floor and realized it was greasy with raid bug killer. Even with the lights on they where crawling in the tables, across the floor, on the walls. I soon realized they where even in the bed I had payed to sleep in. Along with fresh makeup on the pillow, and the sting smell of womens perfume. Not only was the room infested with roaches, the sheets had not even been changed. The motel was book solid so they couldnt move me rooms. It was 2am and I am not from the area so I tried to sleep. I soon realized they where in the bed too. You could hear them crawling on the wood floors. It was the most horrific thing Ive ever seen in my life. spent the night in the backseat of my rental car and outside smoking trying to keep calm about the predicament I found myself in. The manager Alisha was an amazing women. And gave me my money back for the night I slept in my car. But how dare anyone expect money for people to stay in such squalor. Its shameful and not the mention a HEALTH HAZARD. Bug poison covering the floor, what if I had a child with me. Despicable. Motel 6, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. That room should be condemned.
The room was not as clean. The restroom door was falling apart, the toilet seat had previous occupants blood on the toilet an pube hair in the tube. And the phone did not work. I let the person at the front desk know and that I took pictures and I showed them to him an all he said was oh gez just show them to the ppl in the morning when u check out. And that made me feel very uncomfortable with my room. Every time I have stayed there I didnt have that problem. I wouldnt mind staying there again the room just have to be cleaned better so I can get my $ worth.
I travel a lot and I usually stay at motel 6 and so far they’re Usually OK. This time I traveled with a friend and both had terrible experiences. The rooms weren’t cleaned. Both rooms smelled a lot like someone was smoking inside, the room’s phone didn’t work, they allowed other guests in the pool (and smoking weed) past midnight. My room’s shower was clogged. Etc etc
This was the worst experience ever. My family and I are relocating to the area so my husband and I checked in on Wednesday after traveling for most if the day we were extremely tired and the reservation was already made. So we checked into room 138 the room was not clean, the tub was nasty, the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke and they have roaches. Get up Thursday come back no clean towels nothing. This was the worst experience ever
I wish I could rate this place higher. We stayed for 2 days and the decision to stay a second night here has proved to be a huge mistake. Yesterday we had no incidents and the lady at check in was great. Very sweet. However this morning we decided to extend an extra day. Another lady was working and proceeded at 12 on the dot to tell us that we only get one warning or next time it’s a DNR if we don’t come down sooner. This was nothing compared to the rest of the things going on. Right across the hall there is a family of 29 people (that is not a typo, 29) living in 2 rooms. They are beyond rude, the woman sends her kids out to follow my husband and I no matter where we go and then proceeded to complain that I told her daughter I would sick my Rottweiler on her. I have 2 kids myself I would never say this to anyone, let alone a child. They then told management they wanted us to be moved into a different building with only 1 bed. Needless to say this didn’t happen as the lady realized the accusations were ridiculous. As the night has progressed we are still being watched at every turn, if my dogs are out the kids freak out and then smile at me as the mom sends dirty looks my way. Our hallway reeks of pot. A homeless man has tried to get into our room before seeing me walk down the hall. Someone (most likely the teenage boys in the said rooms) attempted to screw with my car as it refuses to start (battery is less than a month old) and there are no cameras anywhere to be seen outside the premises. Overall, this place is not safe what so ever. If I had not already paid for today I would have left long ago before being harassed all god damn day by the clown car across the hall. Stay elsewhere.
Got a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke. Burn marks in the blankets and being away from the hotel our clothes smell like smoke. We had to wait for 30 minutes for clean towels. When we got the towels one of them has a large hairball on it. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE
I have reiterated this before. The staff issued cards to other guests while I was occupying the room ; the people entered my room while I was in a state of undress. After complaining to the desk ; they apparently de-activated the entrance keycard and when I returned from dinner the keycard wouldnt work til I went to the desk and had it re-activated. This happened about 3-4 times ( and no the keycard was not next to my cellphone in my purse )I requested no room service on the 1st morning of a 3 day stay ; the cleaning staff came anyway , took all the towels and didnt leave any fresh towels - my sister had to go to the front desk to obtain towels. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet itself was loose at the connection on the floor - rocking back and forth. The Handicapped Parking Places were so far from the rooms, way around at the very back of the motel as to be totally useless to someone with limited mobility such as myself.Could never get the Wi-Fi up and connected ??? Still I suppose I was charged ??The people at the desk acted as if they truly did NOT CARE and were not connected to Motel 6 and the care and satisfaction of their customers.Ive stayed there twice before and the other two times were fine. This trip was awful and Ill never be back there again.Respectfully,Elsie M. Lucas
Very very bad service. Only got water would come out of the sink, toilet would not flush at all, and shower wouldnt do anything. Also smells like someone is smoking pot and spraying febreze over it, smells horrible. If I could give it no stars I would. Would not recommend to anyone. PS think I found a bed bug!
Let me start by saying I love Motel 6!!!! Every year we come to Texas and stay at this hotel. We didnt come last year. In one year it has really gone down. We wont stay at this location again!Had a room reserved and paid for and it wasnt ready when they said it would be. We gave them until 6:30pm. When we got the room it had no TV. We paid extra for a microwave and fridge. No fridge. When I told them we had no TV they said I could tell the manager but he was already gone for the day. I asked for and got a refund. We spent the night at another location. I tried this location again the next night. (My son couldnt believe I was going back to them.)Once again the room wasnt ready until much later than we were told. Once in the room we fought roaches all night. Only one set of clean towels. The other set was filthy! Asked for clean ones for 2 people. I was told they had no clean ones. I could get some in the morning. Morning came same story. I waited until 10:45 (after asking repeatedly and told someone would bring them in a few minutes) to get clean towels. When I did get them one bath towel had a black footprint on it. The towel was still warm. Someone thought it would be funny to do that to our towels. This place is a disgrace!!
The room was adequate, but my sister (the one in a wheelchair) was not fond of the bare floors. I figured you thought was best for disabled people? The big drawback was the loose commode seat. It actually pinched my sisters thigh, and you had to be careful so it did not slide around. The loose seat is caused by some disabled people flopping down on the seat, which they have no control over. It would be nice if the seats were kept tight or repaired or replaced as needed. Also, there was no extra roll of toilet paper, and the existing roll was getting low. I was afraid we might run out. The desk clerk did bring a roll right away. She is a very pleasant lady! As for obtaining ice, the machine was on the second floor which meant climbing steps. My sister wanted to get the ice while I unloaded the car. We were fortunate to see some employee(?) up there who offered to get it for her. That is all I can think of. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
P.O.S. motel. My first mistake was not reading reviews but went with my gut since my previous experiences with motel 6 were good but not this one. Music blasting from other rooms. Bugs flying in bath tub. Dirty everywhere. Towels had hairs and had stains etc. Management in office was rude. They guy at the desk asked me if I had a problem only because I asked why my card key wasnt working to get in the building and he responded with do you have a problem with that? Then he said, I can have you removed from the property. Only have it one star bc I had to choose one. Not because it deserves it.
I had a free gift certificate so I used it. This time around it seemed as if the room was worse than the time that warranted a free certificate. The bed had been made but looked like someone had rolled around on it. The air did not work well. I tried to turn the air down and on high but it only came out low. The hallway smelled of weed. Just gross.
My wife and I were driving through Dallas, TX area in late February. The proximity to I-20 in a less congested area appealed to us. The room was clean and neat. Lighting and TV were good. The value for the stay was great. The fact of no elevator and distance from parking might be an issue for some but our 65 year old legs are still good.
The front desk clerk was like he hated being there. He didnt even leave his sitting stool. We had to give our license plate number. Going to it room there was people barbequing in the parking lot with lawn chairs. People smoking weed. Wet didnt even unpack our vehicle until at night. The guests were loud. I asked for handicap accessible. The bed was on a platform where the mattress slide off. My husband had to hold it for me to get in. The bathroom was not accessible for me. The neighborhood was unsafe. When I come back to the area, I would not stay here again.
The location👎The friendliness of the staff👎The cleanliness of the rooms👎PoorThe prices 👌The interior 👌The exterior👎The hospitality👎The quietness👌🚫 Illegal drugs on the premises you can smell it up and down the halls. They are remodeling the place and allowed the contractors come on property and bring all kinds of drug paraphernalia. The staff is very rude and loud! They always have attitudes! They are horrible! They need to definitely hire new staff and new management. They lie and tell you there are no rooms available then when you have someone else call they have a room. Very unprofessional!I would NOT recommend anyone stay here or work here at all.
My family and I travel A LOT because I work on the railroad. We were met with friendly service and a clean room. For such an affordable rate we were blown away...we usually get what we pay for but with this location it was above and beyond what we expected. The area the hotel is located is a little shady but that doesnt make the hotel. Keep up the good work! If we are ever in the area we will see you again!!!
The dollar amount is cheap enough but dont stay here if you can avoid it. NO refrigerator. NO microwave, NO coffee maker, NO Continental breakfast either. and the internet you have to PAY for, it is 3.00 per day NOT FREE!!!!! The TV goes out when it rains. The motel cleaning staff are the worse. One day they did nothing to our room, the next just dropped off TP. The third I had to complain that our room wasnt getting cleaned at all just to get service. The beds are old and very hard, you can tell they are old. I have seen people say there are bugs, I have seen a few ants in our bathroom but nothing else. No iron or ironing board so that was bad we really needed one but the motel has NONE!!!! I gave it a 2 star because it is somewhat clean. The other down side to this location is the POOL it is NEVER OPEN!!!!! its closed and locked the 8 days I have been here. They seem to pick and choose when to open it.
Even though a drunk lady came to our car asking for a drive insisting on paying, was a little terrifying. However the stay was great unlike other motel 6 this one is clean, and great for a quick stay that is very valuable. Affordable stay for last minute check in and clean.
First room I was 230 it was not ready, I found drinks, sheets with hair, pillow cases where used too.I call front desk, so he changed me to room 236, it was okay.I left a shirt in that room, Id called a few minutes after I left, to let them know about it, it was a shirt but it was my birthday shirt, manager told me to go back in the afternoon to get it back, I showed up, the office where they have the lost and found was locked. Id called this morning, the housekeeper person said there was not shirt, so her word against mine. So I wont recommend this place, and I never will go back, I have pictures of the rooms and the stairs, dirty.
For a Motel 6... I have been a loyal customer at this location for a good decade. I have tried other locations in the same county, and this one has consistent friendly and expedient customer service. the food vendors deliver to this location quickly if you order delivery. The hardwood floors, and beds are nice, i love the rooms with a mini fridge.
Well the first room i was given was dirty the sheets were never changed. The second room considering i stayed their 3 day the sheets were never changed and only the first day i had a wash cloth. And considering some people come there yo relax and rest noise should be at a minimum at a certain time.
After years of staying at this Motel6 we are deciding to find another accommodation. Although the rooms are clean and the location convenient, the noise has been a consistent problem. Most recently, I stayed for 2 nights and had feet pounding above my head for 3 hours straight. Also the second night, someone was honking a car outside (long and loud and sounded like right by my window!) constantly for at least 30 minutes. Calling the office did nothing to address it. That and the reeking smell was just the last straw.Unfortunately this was the the last time well be there.
I always try to stay in a Motel 6 when I travel. I haved stayed at this location multiple times over the last few years. The staff are always very friendly & personable. The rooms are always clean. On this visit when water was turned on in bathroom sink, I could smell gray matter. Not a pleasant aroma while brushing my teeth. The double electrical plug in the bathroom did not work. Some of the electrical plugs in the room were loose and would not hold a plug to charge digital devices.I usually request an accessible room when I travel because of severe arthritis in my knees. Motel 6 does not have taller toilets for those of us with mobility problems. Accessible means the room has 1 bed and the bathroom has a wider door. Thankfully I am able to walk without assist, but it is difficult to get up from a low toilet with severe artritis in my knees. Perhaps you could consider installing taller toilets for those of us with disabilities. Also, you should consider installing elevators. I requested a downstairs room but with local sporting events those rooms were sold out. I dont know what people in wheelchairs do in those instances.I always book my rooms through the AMAC website. You might want to consider this age group of customers when you remodel your locations.
Absolutely the best Motel 6, I have ever stayed, and I have stayed at plenty of them. Rooms large and clean. The staff was absolutely exceptional, the woman checking me in made me feel at home. Had a slight problem making the entry card work, maintenance was there in seconds, problem fixed in seconds. The general manager, Linda, even showed up to make sure everything was ok.When in Dallas, this will be my new home.
I will never use this establishment again. My family and I are Harvey victims. We are being relocated to Dallas due to the storm. We traveled from Houston to search for properties info the area. My husband is disabled and our only driver. If it wasnt for the fact my husband drastically needed sleep n his medications I would have cancelled and asked for a refund. There were roaches, the bathroom wasnt even clean. The mattresses were filthy with a pad put over them, and there were no towels in the room. I had to go request them from the office. We also had to purchase Roach spray and febreeze to disinfect the room. If my husband would have been Able to drive elsewhere, trust me we would have found some place else.
I usually stay at this site when visiting Dallas (room 217). Overall the rooms are ok. Not as clean as I would like such as corners, bottom of toilets, shower walls and shower curtain had an odor, one of the mattresses looked appeared to have urine stains. The toilet seat was loose. The plug in the bathroom was inoperable. For the money, not bad.
I can truly say the room was clean and fresh smelling, the location was great, with a convenient store beside it, and Mickey Dees (McDonalds) right across the street. Loved it!Ps. The staff person was great! He even called our room to check on us, making sure we had made it to our room. When in the Dallas area again, I will be staying here for sure!
I came to this motel for one night with my daughter and grandmother and the experience was horrible. The whole night people played loud music, screamed in the halls at 3 in the morning and children were running up and down the hall at 4 in the morning crying and screaming. If I could give no stars I really would give no star. I can not believe the experience I had that one night, I have been to trashier places that ran better than this place. No towels, no soaps, no trash bags or trash cans, and no fridge or hair dryer in the room like they advertised online.
It was my first time staying there and it wasn’t a good stay. The curtain was broken so it would not close so the room wouldn’t get dark and it was no hot water either and that was the worst part because I was only staying a few hours to get some rest because I’m a truck driver but after a lil nap went to take a hot shower and no hot water. So for it being my first stay there doesn’t make me think about staying there again.
Overpriced!!! Almost 80.00 for 1 person! Couldnt even walk in the office, had to stand outside and talk through a window! Wasnt given a receipt either. Upon entering the room, was hit with the smell of cigarettes. There were flies , the toilet seat was coming off, no microwave and fridge like other locations. No bath tub stopper for a bath. The list goes on. Wont be back.
The first room I was given a key for was locked from the inside, so there was already someone inside. The room I wound up with was no peach. The floor was in bad shape and sticky with something I didnt even want to identify. All horizontal surfaces had dried drink spills that could have been wiped up with a damp cloth, but apparently, turning rooms doesnt include a wipe down. The bathtub/shower was so dirty I wouldnt wash a stray dog in it.The battery cover on the TV remote had to be held in place while using it because it was physically damaged.
I reserved a room for my sister to stay at Motel 6 in Duncanville after a funeral on Saturday, April 8. I reserved a king, handicapped accessible room with a microwave and refrigerator. Upon arrival, it was hot in the lobby (front desk clerk told me she turned off AC because she was cold). Also, there were many people who appeared to be hanging out in the parking area (even had their ice chest there). Guests???? The clerk tried to overcharge me for the remaining room and then told me that all hotel rooms in the DFW area were full, and they only had one room remaining. She was quite creative when I asked her why all rooms in the metroplex were taken, coming up with races and other stuff. As is apparently customary at this location, the clerk told me that other guests had extended their stay, so the room I reserved was not available. When we arrived at the room, it was dismal, and the bathroom floor was dirty. My daughter called the Garden Inn Hilton and got a room for my sister, and we transferred her over that evening. I tried talking with Zach, the Manager today, but he hung up on me because he didnt like what I had to stay. Right, Zach, stay loyal to your employees. You might want to take some courses in motel management because this location is as bad as it gets! Drive on by.
We booked the room online from the pictures that were shown. The room looked nothing like the pictures. There were barking dogs, screaming children, verbal altercations. The freezer in the refrigerator was frozen over with ice. The TV was something from them1990s. The bed spreads had stains on them. It was definitely a night to forget
I was only helping a friend with taking her stuff from the motel to her daughters house and the room was filthy! Besides the dirty, nasty floor and air conditioner filters the room was pleasant and updated with bamboo look floors and nice handicap bathroom. Trashy with a capital T
I have stayed at this particular Motel 6 beforeHowever, this time i did not get much sleep. At 1:30 going to bathtoom, I heard disturbing noises and a woman crying really loud. I figured something was wrong, but when ai called operator front desk, noone answered the phone. I stayed awake nearly yo 4a., and had to awake at 7a for an appointment. Other than that room was clean. I will stay at Motel 6, but not that one. I felt really helpless with lady crying and she appeared to walk outside. Perhaps the operator should make sure they answer phone. Thur. 10/19/17. Thank you
Checked in n felt I was a bother to her. Would not make eye contact. Went to my room no TV remote or soap . Called the front desk n they would take care of it . Hour goes by n I have to ask the head cleaning lady n she accommodated me , thank you . About 7pm to 11pm a lot of partying , twice someone knocked on my door n wiggled the door handle. I called the front desk about this but no answer. I slept with my gun n thank God nothing happened. Hardly got any sleep that nite. Went in the next day n a different lady was very nice and refunded my 4 days back to me .Please dont leave the lights on, and no thanks.
When we walked in the room the TV was on which was strange. We noticed there was an empty small milk cartoon next to the TV and the plastic ice container had melted water in it. The two beds had three pillows situated in one bed and one pillow on the other. It appears someone was hanging out in the room after it was cleaned. Just left a bad taste. The non smoking building hallway smelled of smoke very badly and the floors were very dirty in the main hallway.
This is probably one of the nastiest motels my family and I have ever stayed in. There are roaches, moldy smelling rooms the staff does not change the sheets and do not wipe down the counters. We asked the staff to take a look at the AC for the smell and have not followed up. The basics are not included in this hotel. They do not even include a Bible, alarm clock, iron, irnoning board, or a blow dryer. Dont get me started on the WIFI. You have to pay per night for internet. Why not just add 3 dollars per night to the price to give access to everyone instead of having to go through this long process of getting a code, paying for it, logging onto the network and to see if it will even work. I would not recommend staying here.
After having difficulties at a previous location, I come over to this CORPORATE location where the Night Auditor Wes says they are sold out. As a Manager on Duty at a property in San Antonio, I can see their Hotel Key Screen showing they only have 55 guests in House, so I proceeded to ask Mr. Wes how many rooms they have total in which he replied with around 75 and I only saw 3 reservations. So I ask him if he can please go above and beyond to help me get a room. He said No and then quickly went to the back. Since the lobby is closed, I ring the doorbell in the freezing cold while there is legitimate Snow on my car, and it takes Wes a while to come back to the night window. I kindly ask his name and then I call reservations. Reservations transferred me to Escalated calls and then called the property. Once she called the property she walked him through how to check me in. Once I was checked in. I told Mr. Wes. This all could have been avoided if you just did your job and wore a name tag. Once he got offended from my criticism, he demanded that I leave the property or else he will call the police. I then proceeded to call Guest Relations (Central reservations escalated calls due to GR being closed) and they told me they have no authority over his decision. Now as Im in my room laying on our extremely uncomfortable and squeaky beds with my two nieces who are extremely cold and tired; Mr Wes had the audacity to call my room and demanded me once again to leave the property. I told him no, and that I will be taking this up with his Manager in the morning. TWO Dallas locations who dont know how to do their jobs?!? This is not looking good at all.Seems like these people are just getting hired to fill positions. And NOW, these two officers show up to my door. And I explain to them the whole situation that Mr. Wes only called them cause he was criticized. Allowing both officers to waste their time. They then agreed that this was a waste of time, got my name and number and said they will just file this as a civil complaint and then left.Thank You, Dallas.Youve been soooo great to us (please read as sarcasm)Update*After speaking with the new General Manager Diane Perez, she assured me that she will talk to Mr. Wes about his performance. The MOD, is such a sweet lady with excellent Heart For Service!! Good luck on your new location Diane!
Room was dirty with someone else dirty laundry water on the floor and I was told I could get my money back and go some where else .it also smelled like smoke and I asked for no smoking will never stay here again 😒good luck if going to stay in Duncanville sorry manager no skills
Every time my husband and I come to visit our family this is the hotel we stay at! Very clean ,convenient to food places , and very quite! The staff is OUTSTANDING! We feel welcomed from the time we check in to the time we check out! Nice and clean all the times we have stayed here!
When i arrived in my room i didnt make a fuss about the fact that there were already used towels in my bathroom , i simply asked the house keeper to bring some .She never brought any. I left and came bk that night asked the woman at the front desk she went on angry saying she was not house keeping and that i couldnt get towels. She was so angry my friend caught the whole thing on camera before she called the police on us . once they came she than attempted to deliver the towels but we were not in our room so i went later that night and the young man there simply walked to a back room with the office and handed me a set of towels.
I reserved a double queen. Was given a single king. Clerk gave horrible directions for the location of our room. Get to our room and the key wouldnt work. Had to call and ask for a remote. Other hotel guests smoking weed at the pool after hours...Would have found another hotel but everything was booked...
Over all a good location and owners are trying to make it nicer but the male Clerk got a major attitude with me when I told him that my room smells like sewage. His reply was well did your dog stuff in it? Review app would not let me spell anything remotely close to what it actually smelled like... I told him the sewer smell was there when I first opened the door. To which he replied oh Im not sure but it should go away... well it didnt! thank goodness I only stayed one night. I love motel 6 and travel with my pets frequently but will pay extra to go to the next closer location.
The service was ok , receptionist was nice . The bedsheets of both beds in the room were dirty , I was itchy . the floor was dirty , the bathroom was as I left it dirty . I found the same candy wrap on the floor that I had dropped the night prior . The door I had a problem unlocking it the day of check out . I like motel 6 because is a very good economical price but is the first time that I have an issue with the room and everything being dirty . Did I mention that a cockroach was crawling up the wall by my bed .
My husband and I checked in earlier in the evening before an event. We returned to the room between 10:30 and 11. When my husband went to shower there was soap, a razor and a used cup in the tub. When we turned down the bed there was hair on the sheets and a dirty spot on the sheets. There were baby wipes in a drawer. We headed down to the desk and met with another guest whose key didnt work. No one was at the desk. We waited till 1am for someone to come out. She gave us another room. This one had a sticky floor, cigarette ashes on the toilet seat and a bunch of hair in a drawer. The cage around the smoke detector had been removed. We have pictures of all of this. We headed back down a vomit stained carpet and got a refund with no questions asked. We decided to just go ahead and drive the hour and a half home instead of finding another hotel.
This was the absolute worst hotel I ever stayed in.I arrived after the check in time, to be informed that my reservation was changed because they had guests that decided to extend their stay. (I guess this is a thing) I asked a lady sitting outside the hotel who straight up told me that she basically lives there. So they asked me to wait. I sat down patiently for 30 min, when another customer came in and was helped to their reservation before me. (They also messed up his reservation as well) As they were ringing him out, he turned and asked me if I was there before him, which I said yes, and then HE apologized to me for their service. Which they never once did.So once I was finally called upon I then found out that my 2 bed room, had been changed to a 1 King, because thats all that was available. (Mind you I had 3 grown men with me in town on business)So after they basically told me there was nothing they could do we decided to just take the room and we would figure it out. (Ive been in customer service I know its not the front ladies fault, I wasnt going to crucifer her, she was doing her best.So once we got to room 230, we were met with the most disgusting room Ive ever stayed in. In one of the trash cans there was what looked like vomit in the bottom of it, where they just put a trash bag in to cover it up.There were what looked like butt from blunts left on the ground, and the room was a smoking room which I specifically did not request.Long story short, if you are ok with staying in what I would consider a trap house, littered with trash and beer cans and cigs all over the premises, with people loitering in the parking lot and living in rooms. Then this is a good spot, if not, definitely go somewhere else.I would love to get my money back, but it wasnt worth fighting with the girl up front who was doing her best, and I can never bring myself to get upset with the young employee, just trying to do her job.But this location was a disgrace.
Rooms may be clean but the smell of mold, mildew, and weed is always present. If you HAVE to stay here, get some candles from the dollar store down the street. Absolutely NO AMENITIES! No microwave, no mini-fridge, no iron! Dangerous scary part of town! People below me have a pit bull in their unit. He is chained to the door and the door is open. They take him for a walk every now and then and let him poop without picking it up. There is dog poop 💩 everywhere!
Because the property is close to BobKnight Fieldhouse I was hopeful it would be a good experience. Upon arrival I found the roller bed or pullout was not an option at the hotel. Also I was met with the smell of marijuana in the hallway for the rooms I rented. We even witnessed a young lady prostituting out of a room near our room. I had rented rooms here for my basketball team. Due to other hotels in the area being full and pricing being too high for my childrens parents Motel 6 Dallas/Duncanville seemed like a good option. The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate in spite of the merger accommodations. However the environment was well below par especially when the only on duty night staffer cant leave the office and so much is going on. Either have the police do a random sweep, hire security, or an additional staff person.
This place is horrible. Looks run-down, nothing like the pictures. Made a reservation, when I arrived to check in, there were several police vehicles parked out front with their lights on. No one was at the desk and the lobby door was locked. I was informed by a man staying there that it was frequented by prostitutes and drug dealers, and that I should probably stay somewhere else. Not sure who these people are who are writing good reviews, but they are obviously lying.
The only good thing about our stay was the front desk person...The room was dirty....Supposedly non smoking..the room reaked of smoke. Cigarette ashes on the window...Dirt on the bathroom floor...Thr toweld in the bathroom felt wet..The hall full of smoke smell....The pool full of green rancid water....
Disappointed at the lack of care and customer service. Staff was friendly but didnt go above and beyond at any point. We checked in late at night because the a/c went out in my home. I have 3 children and the temp is supposed to reach 100 outside today. I asked if they could possibly offer a later check out as we have to wait on someone to get to my home and fix the a/c. The answer I received was, theyre strict on the checkout time so they wouldnt offer a later checkout. Asked about the pool and the guy said maintenance is putting in a part so it should be open later today (but checkout is strictly at noon so that serves us no purpose). I suppose you get what you pay for. For the price, you cant expect much.
Poor Service at this Motel 6, Bathroom plugs do not work, asked more than three times for assistance, no one listens. Each person passes on information, not resolved yet. On my only off day, I ask for cleaning service, waited!!! Then had to call front desk to ask, nahhhhhhh this is not what I pay for. If you are in the process of moving or need an extended stay this is not the place.
I stay at this hotel very often as then as well as plenty of other motels 6 as my its my hotel of preference most of the time was disappointed at this was disappointed at this day because I was price gouged to some football thing Im a truck driver I dont know anything about that Should be illegal
No internet service they said it would be monday before anyone could come out.Tv did not have a guide on Tv nor did the office have a list. The room directly above us was very loud both nights with a partythe second night about 2am that laated for approx 1-2 hoursThe room was nice and clean with the exception of the floor which wasvery dirty
The waiting time to check in was a not long but the employee who checked me in was apologetic but i also had isssues with ants in bed and a trail from window to bed i informed night clerk on duty 08/04/18 @1030pm He was non responsive he said he was bringing bug spray never saw it or him. I cancelled reservations for Sunday for this reason i dont believe Ill use that motel 6 again
Had a reservation Saturday 10/7/17 came to check in one room. Room 125 but soon as I shut the door to inspect the room...there were roaches crawling on the wall. I had to kill two. There was piece of the floor missing by the ac unit which looked molded/or rusted. I went back to office and they put me in another room. Room 213 and soon as I inspected the room they had bed bugs underneath the sheets! Thank god I had not taking my clothes and sat hem down. At that point I had enough and refused to deal with it anymore and returned the keys and left!
Everything went well no bugs no other complaints about guest nor parking but THE MANAGER WHITE WITH BLONDE HAIR was horrible since they dont have alarm clocks and we got in very late we woke up by housekeeping knocking at the door. I told her we just woke up we will leave in thirty minutes. Five minutes later the phone ring with the management going off about how we need to leave i said ok we just got up we are getting ready, next i know she banging at the door then opens it amd yells. I opened the door told her we will leave and closed the door. She came back i didnt answer because she was rude already n by this point im pissed. She calls the cops and they run names of us n everything. Just because we checked out late. With her attitude motel 6 is the height of her career! Respect your guest ive stayed there many times before and never had a problem ive worked in the business and such behavior is not acceptable.
This was the worst motel 6 Ive ever staied in and Ive staied at some nice ones, but this wasnt one of them the dang attendance lady was very rude and had a bad attitude last night Im guessing because there was a long line of people wanting to check in. I ask about the location of where the room was that heffa ignored me their was definitely bed bugs 🐜 and I wish I could post the pics that bit me the hell up. Their burns on the toilet the tub wasnt clean etc. I didnt sleep at all absolutely horrible horrible place and I would NEVER go there again. I just take at a lost because I knew I wasnt gonna get my money back. Last but not lease when coming Down to my car there about 6-8 cops getting ready to bust in somebodys room like what the hell is really going on? Ijs negative 👎 zero is what this place gets. My stay was 10-25-17
I arrived at 12:30 PM and was hot and tired from the long drive from San Antonio TX. and I wanted to check in and get a shower and freshen up before I met with the people I wanted to meet. I was rather BLUNTLY TOLD I had to wait until 3:00 PM before I could check in. This made my entire time there LESS THAN ACCEPTABLE. The second day I had to catch the Riim service and get clean sheets and change the bed myself. UN ACCEPTABLE
We checked in late in the rooms were available. They are very clean we checked in Layton the rooms were available. There very clean howEver you you had to pay for the Wi-Fi there was not free and no late night attendants were available to answer questions apparently overall over good
I Was Banned From Motel 6 For Taking A Survey And Giving Them A Bad Review They Told Me And My Girlfriend And 4 Years Son That We Would No More Be Welcome On Their Property And Im Really Upset Because They Knew I Lived There Durning COVID So We All Ended Up Homeless Because I Was Upset With The Housekeeping Lady For Never Bringing Me Towels They Knew It Was Me Because I Have Already Complained To Them And That Never Fix The Problem And Once Motel 6 Sent The Survey I Did It Not Knowing I Would End Up Banned FromMotel 6 Duncanville Its Not Fair That They Knew Exactly Who Completed It
As someone who used to deliver pizzas to this place, I would often wonder why Marijuana possession and consumption were perfectly legal here and no where else (this was 2001). I really dont think this facility has any kind of management in place to enforce illegal drug use. Sort of a enter at your own risk kind of place. Whoever is responding to these reviews is simply pasting the exact same response over and over. How is that helping anything? The Hilton Garden Inn down the street is the only halfway acceptable hotel in the entire city. The others including this one should be burned to the ground and rebuilt as something else.
When visiting family in Dallas, the Motel 6 in Duncanville is very convenient. However, I reserved the room and requested a room downstairs. Upon my arrival, the room had not been reserved. This is the second time my request was not honored, and the motel was not full. Also, the room was infested with roaches.
Roach Motel 6 08/05/2016 We drove to Texas for my sons basketball tournament. From the moment we checked in all we saw were roaches in my clothes roaches in my bags. Roaches in our food roaches in my shoes. Roaches in the bathrooms and crawling up the wall. Why did we chose this place??? I have 3 kids with me and they stayed with family because of the bugs. I wouldnt stay here ever again. 🐜🐝🐜🐝🐜
Nothing seems to work!!!!it started with this so-call wifi. that took for ever to get connected.next it was the washers, I put 1.50 in the first washer and it jus took my money, then I tried the other one and the same thing happened, so I then go back to the front desk-after having to get refunded for wifi-I had to do the same for the washers.now to my room-which has a really strange smell to it-I SEE A ROACH!!!!trust me when I say this will be my FIRST......and LAST time at this place....I understand the people at the front desk have nothing to do with how the maintenance is run here, but I must say this place here is really sad
The staff, Alethia - front desk, Jemisha- housekeeping, and all the other ladies that work there do a wonderful job. There may be a few hiccups in certain areas but the place is going through a full scale remodel and they accommodate my every request. Ive been coming here for 8 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.
From the start I didnt want to stay there. Before I even paid for it. I asked the owner if there were bugs he said NO. When I first walk in, I saw a Roach. Later that night I sat on the edge of the bed, just really uncomfortable. Roaches on the dresser, floor, wall, even the CEILING. Worst experience ever. Id rate this motel 6 a negative 10. Stayed up all night worried about something crawling in my ear.

2022-01-28When my family and I first came the bathroom had BLACK MOLD on the ceiling, the bathroom door doesn’t close completely and the toilet seat isn’t even connected to the toilet itself. The room itself was decent, if I decided to ignore the piece of weave we found behind one of the beds. There’s no microwave in the room and you have to walk to the vending machine area to use a single, communal microwave, where I’ve also seen roaches, the refrigerator was disgusting and so was the freezer. The front desk staff ALWAYS have an attitude and are quite rude. The only thing that made my stay bearable were the other staff who did their best to fix anything that needed to be done.

2022-06-16No stars. NO ROOM SERVICE. 6/6-6/9 Different manager each day said it would be done. At checkout, manager lied to me that he went to room. Room never touched. Just the facts.

2022-01-09Rude staff. Filthy room. Broken door on the bathroom which was only partially fixed. No coffee maker. Three pillows for two beds. Witness domestic violence in the parking lot while we were there. Terrible television selection. At least I didnt see any bedbugs, and I havent started itching yet.

2022-07-04Much better experience than I had in Georgia the night before at that Motel 6. Still an expensive room for what was offered.

2021-08-28I have no complaints. The staff at check-in were a little sketchy, but not sketchier than the temporary thief who was our company that night. I’ll choose to never do that again no matter how great reviews are for that type of interaction! I was able to bring my two dogs with me too.- The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hooking up my Roku to the TV wasnt difficult either.

2021-08-06IThe hotel was nasty. I do not believe it was cleaned to the standards and protocols of Corona. Our bathtub was dirty when we first arrived. We notified immediately, but no one came for 3 hours. Our bathtub flooded the bedroom, there was no maintenance, no housekeeping and the person on duty had no clue what to do. We had to suggest towels. There were not enough clean towels so he brought blankets. You could tell that this problem had occurred before because the wall in the closet next to the bathroom had buckled from water damage. The sheets on our beds were worn and torn. The pool was supposed to be open per Motel 6 and per City of Duncanville they had gotten it inspected and tried to tell us they could not open the pool because of company policy, then because they did not get an inspection. The city said they approved the inspection and were about to renew it in a couple of days. They just continued to lie to us.When we talked to the management about our room, he would not come down and look at the wall He said they never had any problems before. The only solution he could offer us was $18 off our bill. Then we reminded him of the difficulty when we first checked in, that the flood was not the only issue, and we couldnt use the pool because who knows why. He said the best and final offer I can do is offer you is $22 of your bill. That was not half of one persons night stay. We called corporate, and they promised to refund us all our money. While there were sign of physical bugs. This place lacks integrity and a safe place to congregate, for your kids to play. I would definitely recommend a different Motel 6 than this one while in the area.
