I would go 3.5 stars if Google allowed halfs. Its motel 6 - not meant to be a high end place, just affordable and accessible. The beds were comfy and the rates were reasonable. Rooms were not fancy, in fact ours was in a bit of disrepair, but the A/C worked, we slept well and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Would sleep here again.
3.5 actually. Overall, better than most 6s. Rm 145. Grout clean, bath clean and stocked. White socks dont turn black on bare floor. AC unit worked. Not sure when the town began all no smoking rooms but faint hint of smell, not horrible. Linens could use some repairing, bleach or replacement. Cig burn in middle of bedspread and on lightly stained sheets. Easily avoided by one person in bed. Needle and thread could easily fix it good enough. Well placed and plentiful wall plugs a plus. Would return. Thanks to all 6s for liberal pet policy. It creates loyalty.
I had to be given 2 rooms, because the 1st one had a thick coating of cigarette smoke smell in it, and the 2nd one was not much better. My bathroom smelled like a gross gas station bathroom. The main desk lady was nice, and the house keeping was alright. They leave the doors open for a long time, allowing for many types of bugs to come in. I most likely will not be staying at another Motel 6 again
So...after driving all day and 1/2 the night we just wanted a crash spot. The room smelled of smoke..we noticed because we are nonsmokers. There were cigarette burns on the bed toppers and on the toilet seat. Bathroom light did not turn on.. The people on both sides of us appeared to live there and had a blast all night. When we got up in the morning the lobby was locked and we were advised....NO COFFEE.The woman that checked us in was very kind and upbeat... and the beds were comfortable. But we wont stay again and would detour others.
First room we were given had construction going on within it. There was paper on the floor leading to the bathroom and it appeared that someone was in there actively remodeling at like 8pm. The second only had one bed (we needed two). After walking past several swastikas on the walls on our way to our third room at this location, we were greeted with a barely functioning doorknob (front desk guy had to come and show off the technique required to open this particular door) on our non- smoking room that absolutely reeked of cigarettes. Complemented with disgusting bedding (stained, cigarette burns). It was also obvious that there were people living long term in the room next to us, as they had a cat, litter box and lots of junk in the hall outside the door to their room. After looking at the third room given to us we no longer felt safe staying there and decided to cancel our reservation and find another place to stay the night. Overall this was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Motel 6 and will be very hesitant to stay at another location any time soon.
Oh man. Where to begin. Drove all day and all night. Got here at 2 am and checked in for a spot to crash.Most. Disappointing. Hotel room. Ever. There were holes in the walls, cigarette burns in the shower curtain, blankets, and bugs in the room. Door had to be slammed to close and needed some wrenching to open in the morning. The place looks like it was built by a toddler without supervision. Fan in bathroom was messed. For the cost of what I paid for the room, yall could use that to patch the holes and still have enough left over for a steak dinner and a tank of gas.Dude at the front desk was the only redeeming quality, thats why you get a star.
Where do I start! Horrible ! I had a 2 day stay, I was driving my daughters car to AFB along with my granddaughter. I had a 2 day drive from Ohio. I had already stayed in a Red-Roof inn - in Springfield MO. So I had a long drive. I walked in the room and it was just ok, my daughter had already left but called me and asked me how I was doing....she could hear in my voice I really wasnt ok.Lets start with fly flying around aggravating me...ok Im trying to get over it ....as it happens. Remote control doesnt have a back....again ok - it happens. But then I look up ....no smoke detector ..... only the wires and hole where the smoke detector goes. Ok Im thinking whats going on. The I look up again ceiling has pieces hanging....now Im starting to get irritated....as I have stayed at Motel 6 before during my driving travels (all the way from Ohio to California) The walls had dents ....now we starting to get depressed. I was uncomfortable staying the night as the inn has the door facing outward to all cars.So now we wake up and Im going through a crying spell of depression and realize I need to check out. I couldnt even take a show because the bathroom remined me of a gas station restroom. The bathtub was rusted around the drain area. The place where they stored the towels and wash rag was dirty and dusty. ....thats when I discovered the dead fly next the items I would wash myself with! That was it I was done. I book Baymont checked out and waiting outside for the uber. It was the worse I have ever had......and again I have driven all the way from Ohio to California and used to drive in the midwest as a delivery person over several states....so yeah I have stayed at various places before...
No, no ,no!! Firstly, I pay close attention to my surroundings. I pull into the hotel parking lot and instantly notice alot of movement. Alot of walkers with no vehicles. Cars leaving at midnight on a Sunday. Unusual in my opinion. Then, I was highly disappointed when I walked into our double bed hotel room. The smell was too much! It was a musty old fridge smell. I inspected the room for mine and my kids safety. The window was broken. Like the metal railing was off and I could stick my fingers outside. So I go down to get a key to a different room, the attendant again put me in the high traffic area with the walkers and ladies of the night moving about. I was honestly going to give it one more chance until I got mean mugged by a girl hovering over a car door. And as I made a circle in my car, I was starred down by a car full of guys, breaking their necks to see where I was going. It made me so uncomfortable that I got a refund! Theres some shady stuff going on at this motel!
When I got here the guy at the counter was very nice. But when I got to the room it smelt like smoke. And I looked up at the smoke detector it was taken off the wall. The phone in the room had stains all over it from coffee or something I dont know but it was pretty nasty in here.
The most disgusting motel ive ever stayed at. Upon walking into our room, the beds were nasty. No clean bedding and when I pulled back the comforter there was hair and creased sheets like some just used them. We made a bee line to Wal-Mart for bedding and cleaning stuff. Horrid
Room was large and the linoleum floors were perfect because we had our dog with us. The check in clerk was friendly and helped us figure out the TV channels. We were glad this Motel 6 had the usual updates. However, the laundry service did not do a good job because there were hairs on the sheets on one bed!
The lovely wife and I stayed here for few nights while on a mini vacation. The check-in process was fast and the desk clerk was pleasant. The room was good for the most part. However, there were a few small areas on the wall in the main room and behind the toilet in the bathroom that needed cleaning. The layout of the room was practical. The noise level was not too bad considering the property is near the highway. I think it we got our moneys worth and we would stay here again.
I have a bad back, so Im always dreading being away from the comfort of our home (& mattress). I was very pleasantly surprised when I was able to sleep fairly comfortably on the mattress & with the provided pillows.Wish the a/c would have stayed on rather than cycling off every 20-30 min or so, then back on after a few minutes.Showers were lacking a mat, which was very slick - nothing that throwing a hand towel on the floor of the tub couldnt fix.Room was clean - super clean considering the mass of crickets that were consuming the outdoors.Would definitely go back if the need arose.
The first time I stayed here was surprisingly pleasant. Amanda was super helpful and really nice. The room was pretty clean and I got what I needed. I wasnt bothered by anyone and was able to walk to get food or drinks. The price wasnt that bad either. However, the second time wasnt as pleasant. Deb wasnt as nice or helpful. My sheets, pillow cases, blankets, and towels were all dirty. When I requested to get clean ones I was told they didnt have anymore or that house keeping wasnt in so no one could bring me any. Not too sure id stay here again after that.I would say this place is decent if you just need somewhere cheap to stay.
My friends came into town and decided to stop in here fir a room. The room was nice , not very big but still it wasnt bad. The bathroom looked as if it had been remodeled recently so it was very nice. My only complaint is that they need to replace all the blankets and comforters to make an overall better look.
This location of Motel 6 is recently renovated and very up-to-date as expected. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The gentleman we checked in with went far beyond the minimum to make sure we were comfortable and made it very clear he was here to assist with anything we may need. The rooms sizes are generous and the facility is clean. Its very quiet for being located directly by the highway and the parking lot is very well lit. Ac/heat, king size beds available and nice bathrooms. Great place to stay, especially for the cost.
Had some good sleep on the comfortable bed, but I wont be returning due to no towels in the room, and the front desk refusing to give me some. The lady acted like I ate the towels or stored them away in my car. I am not poor enough to steal a towel. I dont know at all how she has kept her job here. Courteously and sincerity go a very long way.
Well Motel 6...you are now getting what I said about two years ago. I was the customer that recommended updating the rooms to a more modern style and getting rid of the carpet and you got it and got it right!!! I loved everything about what Motel 6 did. Now just make sure that the sheets do not have burn holds or non-removable stains and you are good to go. It does not need to take a lot to be rated up there. Simplicity is the way to go, not too much and not too little. Cleanliness and bright colors makes your rooms inviting. Well done. Spruce up the outside a little with some fresh paint and have a contractor pressure the walkways and steps add a little more lighting, nothing fancy but brighter and you got it. I started staying with you guys for the cost, because all I really do is sleep and bathe in the room, but I telling you if you let us post what the rooms look like, you may be surprised what will happen. I sent the photo to my wife of the room and she could not believe it and she is extremely picky. By the way, make sure that the curved shower curtain rods are mounted to the outermost part of the tile shower wall, that will give the person the elbow room that. But all in all, very good stay in Wichita Falls TX.
The night clerk was very nice and provided friendly service. The room was clean and since I was traveling with pets, it was ideal. The great pet exercise area was excellent. I was really put off by the bedding, however. When I pulled back the sheets to climb into bed, the center of the bottom sheet was threadbare. The sheets were very worn and should have been thrown out. They had a very yucky feeling that made it an unpleasant stay. If the sheets had been as nice as my next night’s stay at another Motel 6, I would have given a higher rating.
Great price for pull in after midnight sleep wake up early and leave stay. Queen beds were a bit hard. One huge positive was LOTS of electric plugs and even better they were conveniently located. Water pressure was good and warm. Could have been swept/vacuumed a little better.
I recently visited my friend who stayed here & it wasnt too bad. The parking lot was a little sketchy since it was crowded with cars that I obstructed my view. The room was decent, clean & smelled ok. As well as the bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated. They need more light in the rooms though, it was rather dark.
We came to this hotel after a 8 hour drive just to stay for the night. We got our hotel room & it was so dirty I didn’t even wanna sit in the bed. The bathroom tub was disgusting, the pillow cases looked brown, the heat/ac stayed on for 2 minutes max, & not to mention their was blood right next to the bed stained on the floor. We requested a refund & we’re going to head to a different hotel & they refused & the clerk at the front desk raised her voice at us over trying to speak w a manager. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
Its decent for the price you pay for the rooms! The rooms were in good condition and cleaned pretty well. Our room was stocked with all the normal ammentities and the staff all did their jobs. I wouldnt say there was anything above average about the place nothing really WOWd me about it but it served its purpose as far as a place to sleep and shower & stuff! I have definitely been to places that were worse than this so I wouldnt be against staying again if I needed to.
Everything was nice and clean. This is a great location with an excellent area for walking a dog and bags are provided for removal of dog waste. Would Highly Recommend this location and I have been staying at Motel 6 for 30 plus years on road trips across the states. This is one of the better locations, trust me!
I was here on Friday and Saturday nights. I brought my dog with me. We had some issues with the locks, but the management was as helpful and kind as could be. I will stay here every time I am in the neighborhood. The pet friendly room and outside was so great! Even my dog had a great experience !
For the price the rooms really arent that bad. And Ive been here almost 4 months and I honestly dont know how long Im even going to be here. I pay weekly and Im good with the owner hes nice and understanding he lets me pay a couple days late if I need to stuff like that. I would come back as long as Jay the current owner its still here LOL
We stay at Motel 6 when we travel with our small dogs so we have stayed at several properties. I would rate this property as our best overall experience. The staff was professional and efficient, the room was clean and well kept and the morning coffee was hot and abundant as the staff prepared three pots - enough for all.
Very friendly check-in. Upgraded look to the rooms. Enjoyed the mini couch type chair at the desk Very comfortable to do my work while I watched tv. Dog walk area is really nice but would like a little more light so I could easily pick up after my dog in the dark. Thanks for providing the poop bags and trash can in the great grassy area.
I will never stay at motel 6 in Wichita falls TX ever again. There was someone dirty clothes left in the bed that supposedly had clean sheets that had yellow stains and hair all over them. The bathroom had not been cleaned in a week it looked like. And I am a housekeeper for a living. The conditions this room was in was very unacceptable. They honestly should be refunding me my money. Very very nasty place also looks like a dope house.
The front office was very nice; however, the room was dirty, the sheets had hair and stains. I did not want to lay in the bed with their sheets and blanket so I used my blanket on the bed and covered with my own towel. It was suppose to be updated and modern and although the bathroom sink was new and there was a flat screen TV does not make the room modern and updated.
We initially stopped at a nearby Travelodge, which was dirty and unsafe due to electrical issues, so we continued on down to Motel 6. Very clean and comfortable. The yard is well-kept, too. Plenty of parking space available no matter what you arrive in. Plus, the gentleman at the counter when we checked out was kind and genuinely cared about how our stay was.
The first room the TV didnt work and in the second room there were cockroaches Im the bathroom and a giant nasty yellow stain on the sheets and matress. Had to sleep on top of the comforter. it was a horrible experience and would not recommend this location. Didnt feel safe and carried my gun when going outside.
2 rooms were reserved and 1 of the rooms air conditioner did not work. The room was hot and it was not comfortable to sleep in. My daughters told the receptionist and she said she could not do anything about it because they were fully booked. We, in turn, told her that we understood that, but we wanted some sort of compensation due to the inconvenience of the a/c not working. She got upset and was very rude to my daughters, which we definitely did not appreciate, due to the fact that we were the customers. On the friendliness of the staff rating question, im only referring to 1 of the workers. The rest were very friendly.
This hotel is the dirtiest one I have ever stayed at. This place is not thoroughly cleaned. The walls were dirty. The floor was dusty. My shower curtain had multiple stains on it. Spots dirty on the bathroom floor. I only stayed because my reservation had no cancellation. But I will never return to this hote. I needed a frigerator for breastfeeding purposes and it never got cold enough to store milk in. The front office person was nice however this place was disgusting.
It was clean in the inside. Its obvious that they are renovating it on the outside. They are painting it and doing a roof. The inside is very nice for a motel 6. newly painted, clean and nice. Beds we clean. Wished it had a breakfast. Since they are renovating it, they had tractors and other noisy stuff going at 7 am. We checked in from 12 hours if driving at 2 am... we were woken up with the noise and didnt appreciate that, especially since it was a saturday.
Filthy. There was dried vomit on the floor, hair in the tub, stains on the blankets, floor was not mopped, cigarette ash on the thermostat. The front door barely opened/closed and the framing was coming off the wall leaving paint and drywall on the floor. The AC smelled like mold and was falling off the wall.
The first room they put me in which was 119 completely stunk from cigarette smoke. The second room which was 103 smelled a little better, but the smell of cigarette smoke was present. When I was in the bathroom it smelled like sewer was backing up from somewhere. The front desk clerk was very courteous. I was not pleased with my stay at this location. I was very tired from a long road trip and didnt have the energy to go anywhere else. I will never stay at this location again.
PICTURES ARE LIES! The second worst motel I have ever been in! The only reason the other one was worse is because the doors didnt actually close! There were bugs all over the floor, dirty bathrooms, and stains on the sheets, walls and white stains very clearly on the curtains when you close them. Tried to get a refund and they would only switch the rooms. The next room was just as bad! Cant even sleep on the sheets. I dont even think they sweep the floors much less sanitize the bathrooms. Terrible!!! They dont even deserve the one star!
Upon entering the room, there was a terrible smell, we had to use our own air freshener. It appeared to have been partially updated, but the bathroom tub and tile were gross and there was a hole knocked in the closet door. The outside of the microwave was nasty. The floors were dirty, (wonder when they had been mopped last), I was scared to look under the sheets in fear of what I might find & the A/C worked poorly. I wanted to leave but my husband was too tired from traveling so we stayed. But we will never stay there again and won’t recommend it to anyone. This is unacceptable, and what has given Motel 6 a bad reputation in the past.
Cheap room. Hair in the sink and tub. Qtip in the toilet, and stained sheets. No toiletries. I checked in around 6pm tired after 8 hours of work and driving 5 hours. I grabbed something to eat at the 7-11 next door then went to bed. When I woke up the next morning I discovered there was no toilet paper (thank God I had some in my travel bag). Not even a to holder. Room did have a fridge and microwave but no coffee pot. The bed was comfortable.
So very disappointed! For the price it was I expected it to be not updated. But the bedding was very old and dingy. Sheets were tan, but supposed to be white. And the towels also. We went to Walmart to buy sheets. The room wasnt really wiped down. You can tell they just change sheets and thats it. It was a used bar of soap on the sink to use I guess. Toilet paper on the sink counter not on the roll. Just bad business. We couldnt cancel to get money back. I knew that before we arrived for our stay, but if there was another motel I could I went to I would have. But the city was booked. Only thing good was the old air conditioner it worked good. So sad Wichita Falls. We were from out of town. I used to live there. But if I ever needed a room I wouldnt go back to this one. Desk people nice .
Nice staff, clean parking lot and courtyard. Room was clean but apparently had a naughty customer in the past who did some damage to the bathroom door. For the price for 3 adults? Cant complain.Pros: clean parking courtyard and rooms; super clean shower toilet; pet area with a poop bag station; low priceCons: minor repairs needed, damaged walkway in the courtyard (safety issue). Dont leave anything behind! It will disappear!
The room was nice and clean. Since I had dogs I was glad there wasnt carpet so we didnt have to worry about tracking in dirt or cleaning up if dog eliminated. The bed was firm but okay to sleep on. The only complaint I have is that the TV reception sucked and Wifi way to slow.
Stayed in room 144. Was one of the nicer budget rooms Ive stayed at. AC blew cold and the room smelled ok. Water didnt back up in the tub like it does in most. Be careful in the tub as there arent any of those non-slip stickers. Room was clean. Didnt find any hair or other DNA. The mattress was hard as a rock. Didnt sleep good at all. Room had been remodeled in the recent past by people that have no pride in their work as usual with tradesmen these days. Where is the American pride that used to exist? Not bad but you can tell all they wanted was paid. People yelling outside bout 10pm. Cranked the AC down where it would run nonstop and drowned them out. Did find one little beetle bug that was dead and did have some other big crawl on the bed with me but I didnt wake up itching so thats good.
I booked this hotel so I could stay down in Texas until my husband got his orders and graduated tech school. Everything was okay at first. House keeping barley came (even thought they said they came a certain time every week). About two weeks in, my cats were going crazy about something. It took me an hour to finally see the MOUSE that ran across my floor. I freaked out! I tried to catch it but with no luck I walked myself to the front desk. The lady that was there told me well I cant help you handed me a broom and that was that. So me being 6 weeks pregnant had to get ON THE FLOOR with the mouses FECES (which can have diseases in it) and coax it out from under the fridge. That took me about an hour. I finally captured it and released it outside away from the hotel. The next day my husband had them switch my room. In the room i got switched to, there were these nasty cockroach looking bugs. One after another there they were crawling on my bed, the floor, and on my things. Not to mention the four HUGE spiders the size of an aspirin lid that I also found in the week I stayed there. It was GROSS. The previous room had the bugs too but not as bad as these ones. And also one morning the house keeping lady comes BANGING on my door at 9:30 in the morning! Check out is 11 am and thats when house keeping is supposed to come. Also the sheets smelled like teenage boy laundry. The beds are super hard and made my hips so sore that I couldnt sleep for more than five hours on them. One last thing, when the house keeping lady finally cleaned my room, she used a broom to sweep and then put a WET TOWEL over the BROOM to mop the room. So professional right? No. This place is RIDICULOUS. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because the man at the front desk was nice to my husband and I.
Tom Bodett might leave the light on for you, but he sure isnt leaving the A/C on. Room was hotter than outside when we arrived. Turned it on, set to 60, never cooled the room. Sweat all night long. The unit turned on. Turned off. Turned on. Turned off. All. Night. Long.Parking lot is well lit, and the curtains dont keep out any light. Might as well have left them open.We were graced with emergency vehicles in the lot, sirens, etc. during our stay. Not the hotels fault, but perhaps an indication of typical clientele. I shouldve spent the money to stay in *any* other hotel.
The air conditioner was OFF on arrival, so the room was 90+ degrees when we checked in around 6:30 or 7:00pm. We turned the air conditioner on when we arrived. The room was still 82 degrees when we tried to go to bed at 10:00pm and we were still sweating. The room temperature was finally under 75 degrees at midnight and we were able to sleep. Unfortunately, we had to wake up at 4:30am, so it was a miserable morning. The next night, there was loud music played in the parking lot until 4am. Luckily, the AC was loud enough to drown out some of the music. Both of the bedspreads had stains all over them. Especially for paying what we did (more than $350 for two nights).
Summer in Texas. Upstairs rooms air conditioning should be set to 76 or a little lower. Room took several hours to cool down because air was off. For guest comfort at least a block of rooms should be kept climate controlled during busy days. I have always stayed at motel 6 and I appreciate you the only issue I have is hot rooms
LIVE bugs. Dead bugs. I had to ask another guest to help me get them out of my room when i first got there, and not even 4 hours later there was more. The doors arent sealed properly so anything can get in. These were not small bugs. Maybe some people can deal but i have a straight up phobia. After several hours trapped as there were bugs crawling around by the door, i finally was able to get out and leave. At 1am. All they would do was offer to change my room. But as the reviews say, all the rooms have bugs. No refund. The truck stop nearby was cleaner and felt safer, and was free -_- dont waste your money because the front desk people are not friendly about anything either.
Older style rooms. They have been updated but long time ago. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 130 stayed in this room recently and it has bed bugs. They have also had a few cars broken into. You would think as much as they make they could afford security to walk the motel at nights. They could increase there price a little to pay for the security. To me the owner is to cheap to pay for security. If they do have security i have never seen that person and they suck at the job they were suppose to be doing.
Ac didnt work. So we moved rooms to another room with an AC that did work but it was so load I was afraid to use it. Someone parrked their car outside our room with leaking gas. Staff didnt car. We had to leave because the smell was so strong. Owner didnt care enough to even apologize.
Clean and Quite. We rolled into town around 3 am. The roads were horrible SO this was a much needed stop for the night. The room was very clean. Beds were very comfy. The only complaint would be habing to stand in sleet while being checked in. We had one other person ahead of us and no option to come inside. From the view we had it seemed that for 60 a night they could have let us in to check in considering we would only be staying a few hours to sleep. They knock on all the doors promptly at 10:30 even with a do not disturb sign and another knock 10 min after askimg of we woukd be checking out or staying again. If they had better customer service and care about their clientale a bit better Id highly recommend it. Overall the Bed was great and that is what gives it the best rating.
Actually had pilot car/CDL discount... Usually when I ask, I get a slight eye roll from other locations, but this guy was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. There was more than 1 towel...YAY! Quiet and safe. I usually dont get a safe feeling in motels, but this one felt safe to me. Im a pilot car driver and appreciate the discount! I stay in alot of motels and also appreciate the cleanliness and friendly check in.
Nicer rooms more updated, that being said bed bugs and 3 fllies were greeting me after work. Went to front office to ask to fix the problem immediately. One maid gone tell you cant see bed bugs and It was nothing she could do and caught a attitude and was very rude and unprofessional. The 2nd one was quiet younger and very respectable and helped me get another one within 10 mins. Water was leaking from the next room which was never fixed. Enter at your own risk
I stayed here on December 8, 2018. I travel quite a bit, visiting family and Bational Parks across the country (yay, retirement!!!). I always look for Motel 6 as I drive. The motels are always clean, always safe and always easy to get into and out of. This place is no exception. We had the additional joy of having snow on the ground last night. The children and pets were overjoyed, but the staff made sure that all the frivolity ended by 9 PM and we travelers slept in peace.
The location was convenient and easy to access. The room keys stopped working the first afternoon I was at the location, and the in-room wi-fi worked intermittently the first day. The room was clean and well-stocked with supplies, and all the other amenities worked well.
Not a good hotel experience...I arrived to a dirty room: someone had shaved in the bathroom and left nasty hair all over the sink. There were dead bugs on the floor in the main room and also in the bathroom. Also there was no TP in the room. I called the front desk and asked about the TP and house keeping and was told it was all in the works. I was in town working and got up the next day and went to work...when I got back still no TP and the bugs were still there. So I cleaned up the room and called again about the TP...I ended up going down to the front desk myself to get TP. My work schedule changed and after 2 nights and days in the roach motel, I went the front desk to cancel my last night there. I offered to pay a late check out fee and just need to get the last night canceled so I could drive back to Dallas for an early flight later that day. Front desk guy tells me they cant do it because of some 2 night stay minimum rate deal that I was not made aware of...I had just stayed 2 nights. He said the manager/owner would call me to see what we could work out. I worked that whole day before leaving with no call back. I then just decided to drive back to Dallas and sort it out later. I called back several times inquiring about the manager call back that still hasnt happened...I have stayed in some nice, plain, but clean rooms that I am not pretentious about in the least...but this was by far dirtiest room I have ever stayed in and the front desk guy pretty much acted like he couldnt have cared less. There was one desk guy that did try to help me with the manager calls that I feel doesnt deserve this same review (Geron), he was a nice fellow, but It goes without saying I will NEVER stay in a Motel 6 again...
$200/night, 2 night minimum during Hottern Hell Hundred weekend I can handle. But, the stained matress, stained bedspread, dirty, dark room, and lack of towels really drove home the fact this is a $25/night hotel participating in gouging customers. Ill not stay there again.
This is the best place you want to be in. The staff is very friendly and helping. The rooms smell really pleasant and the cleanliness is at its best. Stayed here for 5 days and had no issue with anything. It has high-speed free wifi, free morning coffee! The prices are really affordable! Be nice to get some discounts! ;)
Damn owner and many family members were all up in people business. hrdwood floors and small rooms big minus. a frends car was broken into and the office claimed the cameras were temporarily out of service for a few hours. gun and dvds were stolen . sounds like inside job. roll the dice if you want to. you wont see me back there. and they had best price in town.
Extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. I was lied to, received a higher rate then I was originally told on the phone with reservations. After I asked Forrest (working the night shift) he said no we dont honor that, that rate is just a minimum. I said ok wow and Im military as well so do I receive my discount? He says oh no srry we dont do that anymore. I almost laughed, there was a sign right on the desk that said we honor active military. Well I thought that was extremely odd, how rude. So he charged me the full amount (didnt get my military discount), and being curious, I asked so do you charge in the beginning of the stay or at the end? He replied Well, if you worked at a motel then you would know Umm I didnt like that reply so much, that was off the charts rude. I used to work at a hotel as well and we had to be professional no matter what. He was so out of line, talking back to me, lying to me, not telling us the right check out time, he said 7am which was way off... and on top of that we never been to Witchita Falls, TX. We are from San Antonio, TX so this is a new experience for us and was the most horrible experience... got to the room, there was a hole in the curtains, hair on pillows, trash can in bathroom was full of kleenex, there was only 2 towels for showering, the heater barely worked. I honestly feel I would have had a better time sleeping outside in the rocks then sleeping here again. I completely believe and I hope the manager who reads this believes I should receive a full refund of my money for all my complications. Not staying at Motel 6 in Witchita Falls, TX again.
The room was just as the pictured showed and the room was clean the housekeepers were so nice and did a awesome job, being a housekeeper myself I looked for little details often overlooked because honestly it isnt required and who wants to go above and beyond for little pay unless you take pride in your work. I definitely will be staying gain at this location
Do not believe the pictures. This place is so bad. Not only did I room move twice just to give them a chance, but the 2nd room was worst than the 1st. Anything and everything stereo-typical of a motel was accurate. Except Forrest, the check in agent, this 1 star was because of him.
They had no shampoo. How can you have no shampoo? As a kid when I worked at Burger King, if we ran out so something the manager sent us to the grocery store to get more. Yeah, its was more expensive for the store that way, but you cant sell Whoppers without tomatoes. And you shouldnt sell hotel rooms without basic offerings, like shampoo.
The room is clean, it smells nice, but the water drain does not work in the bathroom, I washed and the water drains very slowly, for this minus 2 points,I took a hotel for 2 nights, a black neighbor next to me would not let me sleep at night, listened to music loudly, and why I don’t know I would still start the car, and there I pressed the accelerator pedal, in general I wanted to sleep, but it did not work, it was noisy, I do not recommend it stay overnight
We would like to give Debbie on the night shift a big THANK YOU for helping us, we had the toilet over flow at about 12:15 am she had to Wade in about an inch of water like the rest of us, brought us a butt load of towels to mop up the water which was running into our room at this time, we checked in about 3and turned on the AC to cool down the room while we went and did some stuff, my husband put it on 60 degrees and when we got back around 11 that night the room still felt like it did when we first got to the room that afternoon, we had a poor experience with the person in charge the following morning, I went in for coffee that following morning and someone else checking out was complaining about things in his room and told the manager at the desk he wanted some money refunded back to him, my husband went to talk to that morning manager about refunding our money for that night or giving us a different room with no charge and he apparently called the owner and all we were refunded was 20 dollars, need less to say we went and found a better room, less expensive, AC was already on and room felt wonderful, and guess what the toilet WORKS and no 💩S floating by😱🤢
It was too noisy!!! Construction workers staying there were allowed to drink beer in the parking lot they were very drunk, yelling obscenities at women who walked past them and they played their truck radio very loudly until almost midnite. We did complain but nothing was done about it..
This motel was one of the worst one i have ever stayed at, they never came to my room to see if I needed fresh linen or sheets, so I ask for them and was given clean towels after I had to take the dirty ones to them to get them, then when I went to ask for clean sheets was told by the clerk that he couldnt get them for me, besides that the microwave in the room had no turn plate to put my meals on and the biggest thing was that the smoke ditecter had no battery in it, that to me is a big no no and a safety hazard
There were burn holes in the bedspread and a few burnt out light bulbs in the room. Also, if you guys could come up with some sort of military special for Sheppard AFB Tech school personnel. Their hours are to be back on base by 10 pm. Your check out time is 12:00 p.m. A lot of families come from out of state and we have to either pay full price for a half day stay or hang out somewhere for 10 hours. Please see what you can do!
Worst clerk Ever-To fat and lazy to get my Reservations right. Got two rooms-Needed smoking; didnt get it So decided to let my family Stay in room and Id stay in my Car-Was told after letting beep know I had two rooms; 3 times and that Im 6 months Prego-Was told to leave and When I told her I wanted money back -told me no-I Called her a Lazy cheat -She had enough energy to call the cops on me and told me to leave. WORST motel Every -Laziest Clerk Ever! thanks for the rip off Debbie! You rock!
There was no remote for the TV when I got to the room and no way to use the TV without it. However, the front desk located a remote for me. I would recommend instructions for the TV and a channel line-up be placed in the room; finding the listing on the TV itself was very confusing.

2022-06-23I wish the average nightly stay wasnt like $60 , but they are consistent in cost and routine for the hotel, you can find the same workers that have been there for a while at the same area of the hotel as the day before and day after so no wandering housekeepers will walk into your room, they pretty much touch base at exactly check out everyday to get all the towels and linen unless specified otherwise. Some rooms could use a few updates and the place stays pretty packed with traveling workers it seems, but its never to loud and as long as you mind your own business you wont have any of the weird people that get a room there even notice you. Over all this is a consistent go to place to stay when you dont have a bunch of money to blow and still want something that isnt dirty.

2022-06-16Positive: This was my third time staying here and by far the best experience yet! The man at the front desk was super nice and check in was easy. The room was clean, spacious, TV, fridge, microwave. Negative: Everything was great!

2022-03-15Charged me $70. Advertised for $55. Its decent but not for this price. And the beds are very very hard. The sheets were stained, holes in the blankets. The blanket was very thin. Other occupants were noisy. The place looks pretty run down. I wldnt waste my money.

2022-06-19This hotel was so dirty and gross. I was so uncomfortable the whole night but it was either that nasty room or sleeping in my truck since nothing else was around and I was on a long two day drive. There was a dead roach just chilling in the middle of the floor as soon as I walked in. All the towels and sheets were stained. Please just bleach the whole thing or replace the linen. Very disgusting and disappointed but oh well I was in a pinch.

2022-06-10Clean, quiet, fairly basic. Its a Motel 6, you get what you pay for. Great place to crash while on a road trip and right off the interstate but didnt really hear it. Entrance is a little confusing. 711 right next door. Few restaurants other side of the highway

2022-01-10Bad news.Got settled in after a 14-hour drive, then I discovered a cockroach. Then another. And another. I didnt sleep much because I thought I could feel them crawling on me. Didnt dare use the shower. Slept in my clothes to keep my skin protected from the bedding. Heater was LOUD so much that I had to turn it off in order to sleep. Very cold. Minimal bedding, with holes burnt into it. Whole non smoking room reaked of cigarette smoke, and it was even absorbed into the mattress. It was terrible.

2022-01-04I have stayed here a few times before while visiting town. While it is not the fanciest it is definitely clean and bug free. The office staff is always nice too.

2022-02-26It was a warm place to stay. I would encourage specifying a non smoking room if youre a non smoker.70s retro. It was fine
