Very disappointed my room was cancel due to they wanted a 100 deposit in cash for me to stay while already pd my room I told them I didn’t have cash but I can put a card down she said only cash was force to cancel my room they kept my money while I sleep outside the parking lot Hotels.com nor they wanted to refunded me sadly I lost my money and sleep out side and went to work dirty and Smelly will not recommend this place
Excellent hotel. i had reserved the 2 bedroom 2 king suite. i got 1 king and a queen. but other than that the a/c was great and the pool was awesome. hardwood floors and freshly refurbished rooms were great. each room had a large flat screen tv with cable service. i totally recommend it. great price for what you get.
I was over charge and still waiting for my refund. The lady at the front office was rude and has no mannerisms. It was 3:30 am she didnt have an idea how to fix the issue so her idea was to not give me a room at 3:30 am. I drove in from Houston and made Hotel aware of me coming in late. The total amount of reservations was $164 and I was charged $240. Still waiting for my refund.
1. Effort should be made to keep guests quite ie. slamming doors, loud music.2. Rooms could be cleaner3. Rooms need updating along with repairing missing crown molding4. Staff were very helpful and cordial.5. We extended our stay twice. A call at 8 am inqiuring as to whether we wanted to extend it again was unnecessary.
Its kinda crazy how they charge you $10 PER for 1 white towel that is expected to get dirrtty. I PAID $85 FOR 8 TOWLES! I HOPE THEY TREAT EVERY CUSTOMER THE SAME. No washer and dryer. They might need to upgrade there building cause it isnt very comfortable in the first. I went elsewhere with MY money next route for sure.
Good, But .... The Location Is Very Good And Cost Outside The Issue Of Bail Of $ 100 That Require You, ItS A Bargain. . I Did Not Like The Fact That YouLl Require A Deposit Of $ 100 For The Event That Causes Damage To The Room Or The Furniture Thereof. Awful. The room was fine but the customer service experience was by far one of the worst Ive dealt with. I booked thru hotels tonight and could not reach the front desk no matter how many times I tried. They kept forwarding me to their call center in India where they refused to connect me because the reference number I had for my reservation wouldnt pull up. They told me to call hotels tonight to figure it out and even after several phone calls and attempts I had to go to the hotel in person where they were little to no help. The NAIL in the coffin tho was when I got charged an extra 25 dollars because I left the room at 11:15 and I didnt even get a receipt explaining why. You couldnt pay me to stay here and just so were clear take a look at my reviews. I never leave a bad review everything is always 4-5 stars because I like to support small businesses, so if Im leaving a bad review its because you deserve it not because Im bitter. I hope you guys learn from this or shut down. Either or.
My Adventures In A Low Cost Hotel. I Did Not Know They Had Breakfast, No One Informed Me. The Price Is Certainly The Best! Excellent Location, Very Close To Shopping And Downtown, As Well As Quick Access To The Motorway Plazas. The Microwave Was Off To The Room Lacked Toilet And No Chair Or Couch Extra
Very poor customer service over the phone. Does not honor the compensation their own franchise guarantees. Basically this location is a scam and will be taking the necessary steps and channels to report them on a higher level since they dont want to easily refund me or compensation for the night i canceled ahead and didnt even occupy. Very disappointing and displeasing.
NEVER AGAIN!!! My daughter booked this room for us we had a horrible experience the minute we arrived. To begin w the lady had us walk back and forth cause she wrote the wrong room number on the card key. The towels were all worn out, the mattresses were super old & uncomfortable , the pillows smelled like sweat, the window blind wouldnt close completely and we could see all the light and people passing by, there was roaches, the fowl smell the minute u walked in, and the ridiculous $100 deposit, and bad customer service. Not friendly at all.....gave 1 star cause I dont have an option for 1/2 star. Horrible experience
The Location And The Price Is Very Affordable. The Room Was Very Clean. They Ask Dls 100 Cash Deposit And You Get A Schedule For Return. If You Want To Leave The Hotel Very Early Tell You It Can Not Be Until After 9: 30.Solo There Is A Person In Charge At The Hotel. I Did Not Respect My Reservation Price
El trato de la recepcionista muy amable y servicial. los cuartos están lindo y bien limpios, su locacion esta excelente a unos dos minutos de la plaza mall. excelente para los que viajan y quieres conocer mcallen. cumple con las 3 b. bueno, bonito y barato. .lo único que no me gusto fue que al entrar tienes que dejar un deposito de 100 dlls. asi, que si que recomiendo utilizar una tarjeta de crédito ya que utilice mi tarjeta de débito y no pude utilizar mi dinero hasta 5 días después.
The Location Is Good, The Suites With Two Bedrooms And Some Of The Staff Were Kind. They Dont Explain That You Must Pay If You Want To Check In Early Until You Finish The Booking. Also, The Price Is Cheaper Than Other Hotels But You Must Pay 100 For Deposit And If You Pay By Credit Card They Dot Return You The Money Back Until 3 Or 4 Daysthat The Second Room Dot Have A Door.
Room was clean.there was an extra 10 dollar charge added to what i paid on booking. according to them this was a hospitality fee , although this was not stated anywhere in their description on the booking app. i was not expecting to pay more than the price confirmed online.
The Ahi Enjoy Life And Shopping Is Better. Well The Rooms Are Very Nice And The Location Facino Me Very Attentive Staff. This Newly Remodeled But Still Small Details, The Location Is Excellent But It Was A Bit Difficult Since Name Change Recently, Staff Very Friendly And Were Quick To Check In And Out. Ask For A Deposit Of 100 Usd Or 2,000 Pesos If Damage Cheer Facilities (Acceptable Data Taking Into Account That Is Newly Remodeled) But The Details Is That The Room Had Some Imperfect I Had To Report For Fear That I Charged To Me And Deducted From The Deposit

I didnt even get to stay here because first, the employee was booking the rooms for me and all of a sudden the room were overbooked. The whole time i had a hard time talking to him because he kept repeating everything i said and never conpleted my booking so now i have no room.
An excellent place to stay and at a very good price, very accessible, even though the price for the room is cheap, that is good, but personally I did not like the way the reception staff treated them, they lack more tact when dealing with the client, and It is important to mention that they ask you for $100 dollars as a fund in case you cause any damage to the hotel facilities during your stay or, failing that, they ask for your credential, they keep it and give it to you at the end of your reservation, that did not seem right to me all good, but in general it is a good place
The unexpected deposit of $ 100 is not a pleasant surprise in addition to the walk for food, seriously they should honest the final price when paying, we would save a lot of hassle, that for the app they indicate $ 54 and you end up paying more than 65 and aside the deposit hmmm makes one think of walking to closer alternatives
Not recommendable. You are charged 10 dlls for courtesy of cleaning, which is not stipulated on the hotel reservation platforms. They also ask you for a deposit of 100dlls per room, if it is in cash they return it to you when you leave but, if it is on a card, it takes 7 business days to see the refund reflected.
Check in very fast, very clean room, useful hotel for a short or long stay in McAllen. Good location, I put four stars, since at the time of Check out I made at 5 am for a flight, they did not want to give me the deposit until 11 am. In the end they gave it to me but if it was uncomfortable, they must deliver deposits 24 hours a day, people have flights or departures at difficult times.
I tried to stay at this hotel, I arrived asking for the McAllen airport south hotel, the lady told me that she attended me that it was there but it has the name of OYO, I told her I had seen the rate on booking, I liked the price but since I was close I wanted To do it directly, he told me that at the rate that appeared on Booking we had to add 10 DLLs, in addition to leaving 100 DLLs of deposit, so we decided not to stay.

2022-06-23The room was clean but very sparce. No chairs, no table, no hairdryer, no coffee pot. The bed was too hard for our old bones and we didnt even stay the night. We checked out within 2 hours of checking in. A good deal didnt work for us and we ended up paying for this room plus the hotel we left to. No refund offered.

2022-08-13Wish I could put 0 stars. Bathroom had ants, no hand soap, towels were dirty, bed was hard as a rock, ac made the room humid, water in shower did NOT get hot. There were people right outside of our room talking loudly and playing music ALL night. Some even had their cars turned on with the lights facing directly into the window. Some were also revving their engines. This is just an assumption, but I’m pretty sure some employees LIVE there, which wouldn’t be a big deal if they weren’t extremely rude. My guest and I showed up separately, he had my dog with him.. which we were going to take to a family member of mine. Employee saw me with the dog outside of the hotel and immediately charged me a pet fee. Pet fee is $15, which isn’t a big charge. But it is for someone who clearly didn’t have the money to even pay for the $100 deposit AFTER having already paid for my room online, WHICH I told him. I had to purposely put my account into the negatives and overdrafted it just to be able to stay here, and there he goes… charging a fee when he was unaware of the situation. He told me to call someone named Alex on Monday morning at 9:30 at the same location. It’s Friday night right now. Don’t even know if it’s worth it at this point because he was extremely rude and inconsiderate on the phone and clearly this pending transaction will already have gone through by Monday. There is nothing I can do now except say how SH*TTY this location and its employees are. NEVER stay here.

2022-05-04Beware! Im not sure how this hotel got so many good reviews,which I looked at reviews before I decided. I hd two suites one for my elderly parents and one for my wife and I. My parents rooms floor was coming apart. The vinyl flooring was horrible. The same in my room . When I complained.i was given 20 minutes to decide to get my money back. We went there for a funeral. Its sad that I drove 400 miles only to be so disappointed. The parking lot was full of people partying and smoking weed.its not family friendly and definitely our type of hotel.

2022-06-28Do not stay here. The staff is very rude and lied about a few details. There is a hidden $100 deposit. The rooms are awful. The bed is so hard it actually bruised my mothers hip. The air conditioner didnt get the room below 85°. There were rust stains in the bath tub and stray hairs on the toilet seat. There was no parking and we were informed (incorrectly) that we would be towed for parking in the only spot we found.I wouldnt ask my worst enemy to stay here as it would be cruel and unusual punishment.

2022-06-02For 1 night we have a comfortable experience. The room was big enough for my husbands electric wheelchair to move around. Just the shower dont have enough handle for disabled guest to hold on to and atleast a shower chair? Close to restaurants andstores.

2022-07-12A $100 deposit is required for bad service and low quality room dispute not being mentioned on hotels.com or in the reservation.The ad and reservation on hotels.com promises a coffee maker. The rude hotel clerk refused to provide one, refused to allow me to speak to the manager, and then refused to answer the phone for the hotels.com representative.Additionally, the flooring has cracks in it and the bathroom has moldy areas.This property does not live up to the OYO or hotels.com standards.Hotels.com tried to make it right but the property manager did nothing.

2022-07-10Mediocre at best. No tissue, hand soap, blow dryer, or cold water from the sink. Molding missing in places, and trash left from previous guests. Also parking lot was full when I returned kinda late. Would’ve been mad if it weren’t dirt cheap with my flight. It works, but I wouldn’t want to pay full price.

They ask for $100 cash which will be refunded upon check out, if you there wasnt any damage, smoking to in the room.

2022-06-07Positive: I like the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable. I like having the swimming pool even if I dont get in it. Negative: The room I was in did not have a chair or table, which I feel every room should have. I didnt like having to get the key redone every day.
