Stayed their a night and honestly did not enjoy it WiFi wasn’t working their breakfast not a lot of options and I found which I honestly think it’s rat poop under the sink in the corner met the owner seems like one of those type that “take it or leave it” didn’t talk to me in any polite way my opinion paying a room that ain’t worth the price he just some guy trying get as much money as he can with you I remember when the room cost $45 and it jumped up to $73? Yeah it was nicer when it was cheaper but now that the price has gone up they could careless how they keep the room clean
Was good until like around 5 am a man was yelling at top of lungs called the front desk they helped him heater wasnt working in first room so they where super fast in getting us another room even asked if they could help carry our stuff they where amazing the staff was super nice btw loved the tub nice water pressure
This is an older but well maintained motel. Room was clean, and had fridge, coffee, microwave. Free wifi throughout. Hallways and elevators were not swept or vacuumed. Non smoking room still had the slight cigarette smell of an older motel. Good location next to freeway. Friendly staff.
Ive been here for a month!! The housekeeping and maintenance are very nice!! Always willing to help if you need anything!! There is a problem with the front desk when it comes to payment!! We have been charged double a couple times and they dont seem to understand that you want to pay weekly and when to charge your card!! Watch your wallet!! Make sure you are charged the rate they promised and when they are suppose to charge you!! My son loves the pool!! The hot tub doesnt work!! Its mostly an oil worker friendly hotel!! All in all Ive enjoyed my stay except for the miscalculations in behalf of the front desk!!! No bed bugs!!!
High speed internet my ass. Takes minutes to load a page. Forget about video. Room key doesnt work 80% of the time and front desk lady was rude about it. Refrigerator doest work. My room was clean though. Hot water and water pressure is excellent. Beds are pretty comfy. A/C unit was noisy
I normally dont make reviews because I feel people making reviews have a jaded opinion and put a worse light on things than there really are, but with this I have to speak up. The fact that this hotels rating was on the same level as other well known chains like Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express is asinine. Maybe when it was built, but now it is very run down. Carpets were old and dirty, I had to shoulder the door to get it to close, and the elevator would not work when I got into it. When I checked in, a woman was nicely following up to see if the hotel staff had addressed her broken TV remote control (which the hotel staff should have been the one doing the following up, not the customer). The desk clerk immediately started yelling at her telling her I already called the maintenance man and he didnt answer, I dont know what you want me to do. When the hotel guest suggested she give her a remote from a room from someone who hasnt checked in yet, the desk clerk yelled at her I am not giving you one from another room, then that person wont have a remote control. When the customer got upset and told the desk clerk she stays at this hotel often, the clerk yelled even more loudly this kind of attitude isnt going to help get anything accomplished. I had to cover my mouth from laughing because it was so ridiculous. This carried on while I waited to check in from my long drive. I honestly had never seen staff of a place of business treat someone so poorly, even when the customer had a poor attitude (this one was very polite). This is the kind of service you get at a run down hotel in the bad part of town, not where you have to pay the rate I did. I wouldnt stay here again for free. Only positive, linens were clean.
This place is nice, the lobby is very pretty to look at. Breakfast sucks because you either have to eat when oil field isnt there. Its like eating in a hallway elbow to elbow. Its not great but it gets the job done. Bed was nice, TV good.price is like every where here, pricey, but If you dont wanna stay at Hooker motel, Id stay here.
Where do I start......not as advertised. Room is just ok. Smoke detector was not plugged in and had no batteries. No outside lights on, had to walk to room in the dark. The pool was GREEN but they will give you the option to go swim at a motel down the street. Manager was not interested in resolving any issues.
Not sure if the place flooded recently but everything was damp - the carpet, the bedding. Stained towels and comforter cover. Outside lock on door was broken, checked it every day to make sure it was working. Breakfast was a joke - little muffins and pastries. Dont expect to sleep past 5am when all the diesel trucks backed up to the motel start up. Only saving grace was the walking distance to Jorges for dinner.
I was on a cross country trip through the US with an end point of El Paso Texas and decided that Midland or Odessa would be a good place to stop before the final push to El Paso in the morning. I didnt do any research before hand and saw hotels were ungodly expensive in Odessa and figured Midland would be better. There were several hotels with no vacancy or those with rates in excess of 300-400 per night. Ended up staying at the Plaza Inn and while it was expensive, 164 for a double queen, the room was clean, had the basic amenities, and was close to one of the best Tex Mex places Ive ever eaten at. The staff were friendly and while a ton of oil field folk stayed here it was very quiet that night. I probably wouldnt stay in either city again knowing the rates but if I had to I would definitely stay at the Plaza again.
Good luck with Wi-Fi. Wouldnt recommend. Company is paying for more than 5 workers for 30 days so they are making plenty of money but worker at desk will complain if u dont use a little cup to get orange juice. If I could give 0 stars I would. Wi-Fi is so bad phone will not connect. Breakfast is muffins bought at sams club. But DO NOT USE a big cup to get a drink. If I was spending my own money I would probably ask for a refund.
Not a good place to stay, front desk called at 9:30 at night to say that the boiler was not working so there was no hot water in tell the morning. I payed 129.00$ for a single room cash and a 100.00 dollar deposit. It was a fight to get my deposit back. No worth the money.
Do you work in the oilfields? Are you still trying to get your GED? Are you in this country illegally? If so then you will fit right in at this old, worn out motel. This motel caters to oilfield workers that have a penchant for drinking and smoking outside their rooms. You will most likely be verbally accosted as you go to your room. It is located next to a bar that plays extremely loud music till 2am.Inadequate parking required me to park in an unpaved vacant lot next door. The water from the bathtub faucet comes out in various shades of rust. When I locked my key in the room the front desk clerk, whom I had never met, gave me a duplicate key and only asked my room number. He did not require me to present my ID, nor did he even ask my name. The window to my room was not equipped with a lock.I stayed 3 nights but they charged me for 5 nights.Breakfast consists of packaged sweet rolls and juice. The steam irons in the rooms are actually chained to the ironing board which speaks volumes about the quality of clientele to which this motel caters.

2021-03-09A little overpriced in my opinion. Comfortable bed. Clean. Nice sized shower with a generic small shower head. Good sized room but there was only one desk chair in which to sit. Only other option is to sit on the bed, not something my back really cares for. There is plenty of room to have a love seat or two club chairs. Our room did have its own balcony.

2018-06-06Friendly staff, quick check-in & out, and comfortable beds... thats the best about this hotel. The smell says cheap hotel. The hotel room had no tv remote or iron but I walked down and got them from the front desk. The toilet never flushed well. The fridge and microwave had to both be plugged in. In my opinion its not worth the $130/night I spent.

2019-02-21Clean and smelled good! But was very over priced for the quality of hotel and very noisy. Not intentionally, but it just seemed the walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on in every room around us. But besides the noise and price. The overall cleanliness was great! Great smelling conditioner and lotions too :)

2017-08-06So the price was a little higher than I intended to pay since i come to town frequently but bc it looks nice we stayed. The a/c worked well but it leaked and the room smelled like cat urine. When we called the front desk all they told us was we dont allow refunds and also refused to allow a room change. Beds and rooms were nice. Had fridge and microwave in room. For all it didnt offer, I would suggest staying at a hotel down the road.

2019-01-19The place was clean and was quite comfortable but there were just minor issues that can easily be resolved. For example, the toilet flush mechanism was stuck so the toilet was constantly running water and making noise all night. The clothes iron functional, but the control knob was broken off. Lastly, the door to the suite was inexplicably difficult to open. I had to very forcefully, pull the handle downward of which I dont think a person without some upper body strength would be able to open. In general, it was a good place to stay, but lacked a little bit of polish.

2019-07-21Only 1 star because the A/C worked well. Here is a picture of the towel hanger on the bathroom door, the dirty bathroom fan, the missing smoke detector, the missing lock on the door and my, no longer clean, socks for one night on the carpet. There is also a picture of the extra long toilet bolt and the toilet seat was very loose (no picture). Plus, the continental breakfast pretty Sad. The bagels were old as well as the hard boiled eggs. I received all these great features for ONLY $125. MOTEL 6 QUALITY IS ABOVE THIS!
