This was my first time ever staying in a hotel. I had went on a business trip with my husband. On our way back to Dallas tx we were really exhausted we had to stop. I really didnt want to because I hate hotels like I dont know who has been in that room if something bad will happen to us. I guess I watch too many movies 😂 anyway!!! I had the best stay I felt like I was at home. I did not get home sick at all.! I loved it. It had wifi and cable tv! Everything was neat and clean! I recommend this place to highly. The prices are great and it is worth the stay I slept like a baby ! Do not pass a this place when you see it stop and see it for yourself!! They are very dog friendly!! I paid $60 for me and my hubby.
We were very happy with our stay. The room was modern, clean, and the king bed and pillows were comfortable. There is no breakfast at this hotel, but we knew that when we booked it. For the price it was a good value. I would have gave it 5 stars if the bath towels were bigger. Would stay again!
Awesome place to stay. A few years ago I said I would never go back. Under new management and renovations it looks great and smells great. Under old management the pillows and bedding smelled so musty and sweaty I could not stay. They said they could not give me my money back. I was so angry. But my daughter stayed her at Red Roof its new name and she rented me a room. I did not get critical but it turned out to be a totally different experience. No bad smell. Soft beds soft clean pillows. Ice box and coffee with a pot. What a difference new management makes. A while back I rented a room again . the handicapped room was so large. A shower so huge. Even a iron and ironing board and coffee and coffee pot and ice boxIt was so wonderful. It did have one tiny problem. I am handicapped and it is difficult to walk it is painful. The beds in the handicapped rooms are wonderful but not for the handicapped. They are so high I could not get in the bed. My Granddaughter went next door to tractor supply and bought a few bricks. They were too high to step up on. We bought a case of dog food and also a small stepping stool. Step 1 was dog food. Step 2 was the stepping stool it was about twice as high as the dog food. I was able to get into the bed then and slept like a baby. I hope they can lower the beds in hand I capped rooms. Thank you.
The owner Chad gave us a discount and was very nice! First the parking situation was an issue then the first room had a small issue and he got us a different room quickly and a discount due to the small issues. The room was clean and very nice! And the bed was super comfortable. The water pressure for a shower had amazing quality and there was an available mini fridge for use in the room. Best part was it was super easy to locate this place! Overall I give it a solid 10 out of 10.
Absolutely horrible, Drove 17 hours To be met at the front desk by a hateful employee. Despite having a printed document showing a paid and valid reservation she couldnt and wouldnt help me check in at 2 oclock in the morning. My reservation was for a late check in, The reservation showed i could checkin from midnight to 2am. I had to sleep in my pick up until 10 in the morning when I could get into a separate hotel. And refused a full refund
Great place to stay!! Ive stayed at quite a few Best Western Plus this past year, and this hotel was right up there at their level of cleanliness! Cleanliness is my number 1 when staying at a hotel, and this hotel definitely passed. I thought the king size bed and pillows were also comfortable. Save the money and stay here in Buffalo instead of the other options! I would stay here again. The front office may not look great, but the rooms are way more renovated and modern than what their first impression depicts.
The rooms are always neat and clean. We love the updated paint and room decor. Our dogs are also welcome. But the best part is the wonderful, welcoming management,wife and staff !!! They are always so helpful and kind. They help make our stays more personal and friendly. We travel quite a bit. Because of them, it always makes me feel like its less just a hotel stay. We both really appreciate it!
This is a good place to stay! It was clean comfy and the best part is that it was NON SMOKING! We stayed 3 days at $64/night plus tax. The only reason I didn’t rate higher is because on our last night there, housekeeping didn’t bother knocking or saying “housekeeping” or giving us any indication that they were about to come in. They just opened the door, seen my husband and I laying in the bed and then shut the door and walked off. That really put me in a bad mood because we could’ve been having some “alone time”. Hopefully this doesn’t happen next time.
The reviews dont lie about the staff! Wow! Jose at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. He deserves a promotion. He even called once we settled in the room to make sure everything was to our liking. I have traveled all over the world and that was the first EVER call I recieved to make sure everything was okay. Nice rooms / beds / pillows and has a modern touch.
Clean rooms nice spacious room. Great friendly staff,and housekeepers also was very nice helpful and kept my room clean and fully stocked with clean linens, TP, Kleenex,etc..stayed 5 days and was great,only one problem. I personally thought bed in 207 was uncomfortable hard...but thats my opinion...I prefer softer..
Was traveling with friends to Houston and we were lost and got in the area kind of late and didnt want to drive further. Came across this hotel and decided to stay there. Upon reaching, the guy (Chad) at front desk greeted us nicely and provided us with our room. We felt welcome like home. There was another hotel we had stopped before stopping at Red Roof Inn and didnt feel like staying as the staff was kind of rude.This was not the case with RRI and thus we decided to stay there. The rooms were very clean and we had very comfortable stay.Would highly recommend this property for your next stay. Kudos to people like Chad who take care of guests nicely.
I’m sorry, it’s reasonable priced, but the staff (including the owners) are absolutely incompetent as it relates to operations. They overbook rooms, they don’t program keys right.. the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing and then they act like it’s the customers fault! Lol.
So one of the booking services owed me a balance, actually it was SNAP Travel, great prices but terrible customer service. Used them to book a room in Buffalo Texas. I am a Hotshot Trucking company and have to find hotels with truck parking. They had plenty here. I go in to register and ask if I could get a room facing my truck. Raul rudely tells me that since I used a third party I was booked in a Handicap room on the opposite side and there was nothing he could do. We argued and I asked he ever heard of customer service , he told me that most customers would not argued and understand. I felt I was being punished for using a third party and he made it clear that I was i tried to get Snap Travel to cancel my reservation. I do not feel that as a paying customer I should be treated so harsh. However I was tired and after an hour accepted the room. I had problems with the TV and the manager came to my room, then I understood why poor Raul was so ungiving, the Manager was very unfriendly, an Indian immigrant who ran his property strictly. Probably the height of his career lol. First thing I noticed when I got to the room is they left the AC off and the room was hot and never did completey cool down. One of my biggest turn offs and pet peaves. A sign of tight wad foreigners trying to save a buck at the expense of good service and customer comfort. Anyway I do have to give them their due . Rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Had coffee maker, fridge and microwave Forget about breakfast, continental or otherwise. Asked the emotionless manager about pastries and got a brisk NO. In the end you ask yourself would you stay there again? Hmmm I didnt go there to make friends and the room was comfortable?🤫🤔 probably not when there are two quality hotels next door up the hill that understand AC comfort and how to ACCOMADATE their clientele. Not argue and antagonize them. In America the customer is always right.
Our stay was terrible we were locked out of our room twice the coffee pot was dirty there was numerous hairs in the bath tub they floors felt nasty I dont believe the room was cleaned at all aside from beds made the customer service was terrible manager did nothing and we had 4 quest when we booked the room and only 2 towels were giving to us when we asked for more they said they were out wth we will never stay at red roof again and btw they said there were snacks on wen site and there is not just a coke machine

2022-06-20Best value. It looked like an older property, but what a beautiful room! Allowed our fur baby to stay without trouble! We had a handicap room.. it was set up beautifully. Very nice layout and beautiful furniture. My wife convinced me to never judge a book by its cover.

2022-01-29Solid place to stay the night and continue the road trip in the morning. Clean, no complaints there. The building’s age shows, so don’t expect anything fancy.🛑Only a few nuances:1) TV didn’t work.2) Minimal provided towels and hygiene products (soaps, shampoo, etc).• Should be enough for one person, but even then you’d have to use it sparingly. It’s a small, single tube of detergent shampoo. If you’re in a group, be prepared that you might not have enough for everyone and will have to share sparingly.• No tissues either.• Considering I’ve had a room designed for 4 people, there weren’t enough towels even per person.3) No provided fan/hairdryer.These didn’t cause me any trouble, but I mentioned it in case it might be relevant to you.✅Most important factors for me:1) Beds and sheets are clean.2) Clean, warm shower.3) Calm area.I’ve had a good night sleep. And check-out was at 12:00 PM which was a nice bonus. An extra hour of no rush if you want to sleep-in.

2022-03-01Worksmanship in the room can be seen as inferior. Tiles cut were not squared off or aligned. Even the handicap doors are not functioning at all. The continental breakfast was acceptable.

2021-10-27The rooms were, in the parlance of the Appalachians, neat as a pin; which is to say extremely clean and well organized. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Make certain to tip your house keeper. They earned it. The Tractor Supply situated next door offers drinks (I recommend the Teddys brand orange soda as it is cheap and good) for the weary traveler and fuel treatment for their iron steeds (cars). I highly recommend Red Roof Inn Buffalo Texas and would happily stay there again. If you see the white bunnies please feed them.

2021-04-13We were recently in town visiting relatives and we were traveling with 2 dogs. We stayed 4 days at the Red Roof Inn in Buffalo TX. I liked that they did not charge extra for our pets! The room had no smells when you walked in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee was available in the lobby. It had a microwave and a mini fridge. It also had a HD TV with movie channels! From our room you can see deer & wild boar grazing in the field behind the Tractor Supply. We got a AAA discount which was nice! The only negative thing was the ice maker was not working and the towels were a little ruff, but for the price, you cannot beat it! The lady that checked us in was very friendly!

2021-10-30I want to start out by saying that the rooms were definitely clean, but unfortunately after laying down to go to bed between 11:15 and 12 o’clock I was just about ready to doze off to sleep when I felt something crawling on my chest so I immediately grabbed it and pinched it while running to the restroom to put it in a cup to see exactly what it was ( bed bugs) I am mediately started to pack my things so I could get out of the room, I went to the front desk with cup in hand and gave it to the attendant I told him I was not staying in the room because there were bedbugs ,I checked it out and told him I wanted a refund he said the manager will have to do it and he will give me a call tomorrow so after waiting for a phone call from the manager I went ahead and called him instead I talk to the clerk she said the manager was not available, so I began telling her about the situation and she said that the manager had already refunded my money for one night. I told her that I did not stay the other night I checked out so she called the manager and he said that he was only going to refund me for one night because I stayed there the other night which is not true I checked out with that being said he also said that it was not bedbugs which is not true it was . He called me a liar.I also told the clerk that I would pay for half of the night not A whole night , The manager still refused.. it’s really not about the money it’s the principle of the fact…I definitely do not recommend this hotel patrons be aware..I was not going to star rate it but unfortunately it will not let you submit your review ..

2021-02-18Such an awesome place! I was lucky enough to be near this place when the winter storm came through this area. Not only were the prices more than fair but the rooms were clean and organized, and the employees made sure to get rid of the ice in high traffic areas on a daily basis! The manager was also kind enough to acknowledge that we were having some power outages and provided me with a discounted rate! He was very upfront and honest with what the situation was before I paid for the room again which is great! Overall, I dont regret staying here one bit and if Im in town again Ill make sure to stay here again. Thank you guys for taking care of your customers!

2021-08-02Just left Buffalo after 8 nights, and the Red Roof Inn was an amazing stay. Im constantly on the road, and Ive stayed in my fair share of hotels, Airbnbs, etc., and I wish I could find a place to crash everywhere equivalent to this hotel.Affordable, quiet, fast internet, endless hot water, kind and helpful front desk and cleaning staff, pets stay free, and so much more. Thank you!!
