If you have children I would not recommend staying there during the month of October. They are very big fans of Halloween and have decorated the entire Hotel. Normally this isnt an issue. But instead of cute little fall decorations with pumpkins and what not. They have decided to decorate more the haunted house approach. They had creapy little kid in the elevator. We heard it requested to be removed the first night we stayed and it reappeared the next night. They do not seem to have family friendliness in mind here. So keep that in mind while choosing Hotel stay in this area. They also decided to simply charge our account an extra $100 to be supposedly re-imbursed in 3-4 weeks. They told us at booking it would be a hold. But they went ahead and charged it.Not impressed with the management of this hotel.
None of us could sleep because the pillows are horrible. When I say none.. I am talking about 3 people. The pillows are super cheap Walmart pillows that they have washed and now the insides of them are clumped. Feels like stuffing. Also they didn’t lock an outside door that was right next to my uncles room. He could not sleep due to people freely coming in and out, not to mention how dangerous it is to leave a motel back door open to whomever. Employees are kind, it’s not them. I believe it’s Management or the upper hand who needs to do a better job making sure guests are comfortable and safe.
This is the second time we have stayed here as a large church group. Last year the hotel was really good. This year the hotel was decorated for Halloween. Most hotels only decorate the front lobby with spiders and webs and small decorations. But this manager is overboard on it. In the elevator there is a baby with blood all over it and outside of each room on the doors is creepy decorations. In the hall is a bloody woman. Its just gross and not cool to others who do not do those types of evil looking decorations for Halloween. Its one thing to decorate the lobby( I have no issues with that) its when you force it in everyone who stays there. And the girl at the front desk said my manager likes to decorate for Halloween. My opinion.. do it at your home not at a hotel where people are paying for your rooms. It should be about the customer not him. We wont stay here again. The hot tub doesnt work( the jets) and side door when we first got here didnt lock. Anyone could walk in. When I said something to the girl at the front desk, she laughed and said if you are not staying here people outside dont know its not working. She said the lock where you slide your card needs to be cleaned. But the next day it was working. And the pillows on each bed are absolutely horrible. Like they threw them in the dryer and all the Cotten got into a ball. It seriously needs some upkeep and the manager needs to realize its not about what he likes, this is a public place keep it professional not personal.
I stayed here on our way back from Corpus to take my grandchildren to the beach, then off to San Antonio for church. It was very nice and the elevator smelled a little and the carpets were not so clean, there was only two small towels had to ask for more and desk . My daughter found a bug in the bed and was mortified we contacted the front desk and since we had no where else to stay we had to suck it up.we asked for new sheets and bedding. I was told by the desk clerk that management was refunding our room that was 5 days ago and I havent seen any refund on my credit card:( Its a shame because I would not be writing this review had they honored there word. But now I will never stay there again and would caution any body staying there, to check there bedding first, the breakfast not so good, no hot breakfast only cereal, they only had one waffle maker which was frustrating because there was a line in the morning. You would think as large as they are there would be at least 2.But I guess you get what you pay for.
We booked 2 nights with this hotel and paid for them as well. We checked in and had no issues. The next morning we received a note that stated we were to check out. We took the note to the front desk lady who stated that we only paid for a day. We showed her our confirmation email for 2 days and even our bank account where we were charged for 2 days. She was rude and unwilling to help the situation stating whatever was in her computer was what was going to happen. I asked for the manager, she stated they would not be in until Monday. We ended up freezing the 2nd day charge through our bank and going to a different hotel on our trip. I would never recommend this hotel and would hope that management would take notice to their employees poor attitude and unwillingness to help their customers.
Best hotel in three rivers! My stay was more than extraordinary! The staff were soo nice and friendly and my room was extremely spacious and clean. Im definitely staying here again when im in town! Carolyn and Samantha were the front desk clerk and were very nice and helpful
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and in the morning we woke up to a bed full of bedbugs. When we notified the front desk about it, they claimed that they were chiggers. After comparing pictures I took of the bedbugs and those from online research they were a perfect match. Beware, they are not chiggers they are in fact bedbugs!!!
Half hour after I check in I had all my clothes off getting ready for a shower maintenance guy just lets himself in.....then at 9 oclock the next morning they call from the front desk and wake me up to ask me if Im checking out at noon.... But charge outrageous price for the rooms

2018-08-30Overall, our stay here was great. The staff has been incredible. Breakfast is good here, not your typical continental breakfast that most hotels provide. Every day is a different option. The rooms are nice and really clean. I appreciate the quietness in the building. There is a pool, a fitness center and laundry facilities, making it nice especially for people on extended stays, like us or workers who need a nice place to sleep. We would definitely stay again....

2020-03-14This hotel from is the one that my family and I stay at when on the way to and from Corpus Christi. We have always spoke highly about this hotel to all of our family and friends and praised them for all of their hospitality from the cleanliness of the rooms to the delicious breakfast served. But today is definitely the complete opposite from the moment we checked in we were charged $100 deposit that we have never been charged with before. The desk clerk is not compassionate or understanding what so ever. Also after a long week of work and kids my wife and I just wanted to relax in the jacuzzi but the temp is not hot what so ever. When asked asked about the temp to the desk clerk the reply was “we have to keep it at 85 degrees cause the heating element is undersized and will break”. Expressed that we have been here plenty of times before and it has always worked properly and his response was “well that’s why we have to keep replacing parts so now we keep it 85 degrees”. If your internal temperature is 98 degrees 85 degrees is not the accurate temperature for a hot tub/jacuzzi not fair to even use the word “hot” when describing this poor excuse of a jacuzzi and management. Really would not want to stop coming here but this will be the last time for me and my family.

2015-07-11The Hotel was great! Great Serra beds too... rooms are nice and worth every penny. I was going to stay at another hotel due to the last review but the pictures and reviews did not match. We all know that people get payed to write bad reviews at times. So I got to my room and checked every thing from head to toe and all I found was a comfy clean room waiting my arrival. I slept super comfy and had a Great Breakfast! On the way out? ?? Some pool time of course! Enjoy your stay!

2019-08-06Be ware of BED_BUGS!!!I had been a regular customer staying here generally 3-4 nights every week for more than a year. Got the same room 99.5% of the time. Also was given a special(?) rate. Initially had no complaints. But as weeks passed by cleaning service started to get worse. Complaints didnt really work. The worst thing that happened was after I returned from my last vacation a few weeks ago. I saw bed-bugs at night in the room and informed front desk. Next day they moved me to another room which apparently was okay. I was told that they have treated, cleaned, fumigated, etc. etc. for 2 weeks and got me back to the same room last night. It seemed the bugs had multiplied in the meantime and attacked me last night with vengeance. I called front desk at mid-night but they couldnt shift me to another room. So, this morning I checked out, canceled all my future reservation, and plan to never to come back to this bed-bug infested hotel. Now, I am afraid whether my stuff would carry these bugs to my home...

2016-05-23Updated spacious rooms, with free breakfast, heated indoor pool, friendly hotel staff, free wifi, and more than just basic cable with movie channels. My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Although there were minor things that need to be looked at touch up paint, carpet stains, and the hot tub never seemed to get warmer than the pool....I just dont think you can beat this for the price.

2018-07-20Very nice hotel for the price. Room was well supplied and tidy. Only complaint is there were a significant number of mold spots on the ceiling in the bathroom, mostly over the shower. That aside, this hotel is definitely worth the price youd pay to stay.

2017-02-23Room had roaches in it, the fridge still had food from the last person who stayed there. Paid for the entire week so I was pretty much stuck with the room. Cheaply made hotel. You can hear conversations from the next room over. Parking is limited. Also just want to throw this in...if you use their wash cloths to clean yourself...and you get it too dirty...Youll be charged $6 for it. How could they narrow it down to a single person? How did they feel it was me who should be charged for a wash cloth? Well not to mention they charged me for one and THEN decided to give everyone a warning about possible charges. So when I checked my bank statement I noticed a $6 charge. Well I was charged but since that rag is now my property...they cant find it. How can you charge someone for an item and not inform them and or ask them if they want to keep it? I highly suggest eagles den. Much cheaper if youre working at the plant. I posted photos from my uninvited guests.
