Parks are an important part of quality living. When I lived in Portland I was amazed at the quantity and quality of their parks. People were pretty cool then also; not caring to get into your as one searched and experimented with life; you dont encounter that view much anymore, with someone always calling the cops for the stupidest reasons and harming those persons; checkout the news. The police are really setting themselves up by encouraging these nuts to call them on anything so they can investigate; simply too many cops.. Getting back to the park, today cities too often see parks as a burden and an unnecessary expense and dont give them enough creative thought.

Little neighborhood park with playground. All technically off-limits to non residents but apart from the pool, no one seems to mind the odd visitor from further afield.
