So nobody had to step outside so they can clean and nobody has had them to just walk in the room. More than 1 time ???????? The rooms were clean and nice and affordable but damn my privacy is more important and bed rest. In town they call it the duck off spot so what ever that mean.
The rooms are very cute. A little dated, but in a very nice way. The beds are nice and comfortable, the closet is huge, and the bathroom is clean and well stocked. The rooms also have a TV (with a guide function, unlike most hotels), a mini fridge, and a microwave. The employees are very nice and make suggestions when you check in. I will definitely be staying here again.
This is a excellent value for the money!! Very clean, retro feel and comfortable beds. It reminds me of the motels our family used while we were traveling across the country on road trip vacations. I will definitely stay here again when in the area! There is an excellent Mexican restaurant right next door. We ate there twice during our stay and the food was awesome. Both times it was packed but they got us seated very quickly. Highly recommend!
I am an older woman traveling alone. I was given a very nice, extremely clean room right next to the office. I felt very secure. This motel is family run. I stayed a week and was treated very well. They did a thorough cleaning of my room daily. I highly recommend this motel.
If you are looking for a luxury resort, this is not the place for you. But if you need a place to lay your head, this will do the job! This is an older motel that offers rooms with either 1 King bed or 2 Doubles. There is a flat screen tv, microwave and mini fridge in each room, but not much else. No blow dryer, so bring your own. Also, no safe, coffemaker, alarm clock or wifi. Also, no complimentary breakfast. Plan accordingly. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, both local and chain, that are reasonably priced. All in all, the place was well kept for an older motel, and the only issue I had was that the bathroom needed some dusting. I would stay here again. You cant beat the price for what you get.
Clean place- house keeping comes by every day. Room is comeplete with mini-fridge, microwave, table, desk, king sized bed, small closet, small restroom with shower, and HUGE tv. Also there is free wifi. It is right off the highway so it is easy to get on and off IH59. Noise from 59 can be intense so just turn on the window unit. Check out time is 11am. Restaurants are with in walking distance. A family runs the place- some people speak English, some do not but there were always 1-2 people at the front desk. Rooms need a face lift, No pool, no breakfast but a GREAT place to rest for the road-weary traveler! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES! GO TEXAN!
Yes its cheap. Its on the side of the road. I had reserved a room in advance. To enter the locked office you have to hold a buzzer for 9 seconds. You enter and find the most rude screaming man ever. He knew nothing about my reservation because they have no Internet. He told me to cancel my Internet reservation then come back in and pay him. I was able to cancel it thank God, at no cost, then drove away from that screaming old man as fast as I could!!!

2022-06-25I stay here every time I’m in Marshall for business, which is very often. This place is super clean and has no bugs or pest. They’re also a great value for the price because the rooms have a refrigerator, microwave and flat screen tv’s. The management is excellent as well!

2021-05-02The owner was very nice. The room was very clean. In the last 4 stays in the Marshall area this place had the cleanest room by far. The rate for a double full bed was around $73 total. We stayed at the Clarion Pointe the time before, the rate there was $135 and the room was dirty so this place is the better deal. The room had a fridge and microwave. The ac worked great. It was also a quiet stay which is a plus for me. The bed wasnt bad. I am kind of snobby when it comes to beds because I dont sleep well when I stay in a room and if the bed is hard then I dont sleep at all, but this one was decent and I slept okay. The sheets and bedspread was clean also. The only complaint and it doesnt take away from the review is there was no light in the shower so it was a bit dark.Overall, I will try to stay here again if I need a room in Marshall.

2021-04-16Weve stayed here several times while traveling through and absolutely love the place. Its incredibly charming with how old fashioned the paneling and such is but the rooms were extremely clean and the bed was exactly what I needed. Not to mention you cant beat the price!

2020-10-27Stayed here a few years ago on a trip across Texas. I can’t complain even a little bit! Room was very clean, it’s in a safe area close I20 and right off of a major highway with plenty of places to eat close by. Don’t expect luxurious accommodations, this is an old school family run motel! But if you’re looking for a clean room at a cheap price you’re not going to find much else better!

2020-08-12Not a bad motel. Only two bugs, one alive beetle and one dead grasshopper which was a big step up from the night before.Beds were comfortable, things in not bad condition and roomy. Street noise was a bit loud but we were tired enough it was not an issue. Other tenants were loud and they did keep us up but you can not fault the inn for that.A great budget pick. No frills but not scary to spend the night.
