My husband and I came here 7 years ago for aw weekend getaway. We came back for a Mothers Day getaway. We live the peace and serenity. Mornings is coffee in the front porch rockers watching the deer freeze across the way and the birds feeding. They have bikes here for a scenic ride around the property. At night the hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking, shopping, eating, whatever you choose to do. I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone wanting a fun, relaxing getaway.

A great getaway. Peaches is the leader of the doe gang that visits, shes the one with cropped ears and likes...peaches. I caught Bob the armadillo trying to plant an IED on the roadside. The hummingbird feeder at this cabin is guarded by an angry green bird so its not very busy but fun to watch. Grills grill like a good grill.

This little cottage was the perfect romantic weekend getaway. We werent wild about Fredericksburg itself because were not into antiques or that kind of thing, but we loved the seclusion of the cottage. It was peaceful and tranquil sitting on the porch watching the deer and birds eat. And we loved the hot tub on the back patio! Definitely used the little barbecue pit too. Recommended!

This little gem is tucked away about 4 miles out from town. It is perfect for a weekend getaway! It was my first time to Fredericksburg. I will definitely go back. However, next time I will bring enough wine and food and not leave the cottage! The view is nice and the back porch is isolated enough that other cottage goers can see you. Be sure to bring your own coffee and creamer the stuff provided is limited and not very good. We enjoyed the hot tub, watching the humming birds, and riding the provided bikes to the labyrinth.

I certainly prefer the cottage experience more than a crammed Bed and Breakfast establishment. But both are great and unique in their own regards. This cottage just like the others that they offer provide a private, quite, and relaxing retreat. Expect to be surrounded by deer and birds. This cottage, like the others has a full kitchen, gas fireplace, TV, walk-in-shower, outdoor hot tub, etc. I also like that they provide a pair of bicycles, a grill, and outdoor eating area. If you’re looking to get away for a nice weekend, these cottages are exactly what the doctor ordered.
